The nice thing about Cheryl's.... all the produce is Locally Grown including those famous Hanover Tomatoes which I love... The address on Yelp says Ashland, however they are really located 1 Mile past Over Hill Lake on Rt. 33 in Glen Allen heading West. The address is 13460 Mountain Rd., Glen Allen, Va. The Produce there are fresh, and about 1/3 less than what you pay at any Grocery Store and some of the other Produce Stands around Richmond. Since I live off of Glenside Dr., it takes me about 12 min. to drive there as it is an easy shot down Staples Mills Rd. Nice little place... Very clean, and I suggest checking it out. I spent about $10. today and I have more produce than what I can eat in a week. The only thing which they did not have was Hanover GREEN Tomatoes. I LOVE the taste of Fried Green Tomatoes. This was one of the BIG reasons why I went there today. Very disappointed. With Tomatoes coming in now by the bunch... They should always have Green Tomatoes on hand. Even if you do not like a Green Tomato, it does not cost more and they will always turn red. I like buying several with some ripe tomatoes because I am not forced to eat all of my tomatoes at one time.... Check it out.... Great small place and you will have plenty when you leave.... :-)

Other items like peanuts and Amish Butter are good too. Everything I got was local, some stuff from N Carolina there. They have Hanover tomatoes of course but other kinds too. Good potatoes and lots of different kinds of peppers. Prices are very good. Peaches were a little high but really worth it, excellent flavor and juicy. Place is clean and easy to find. Just take 33 W towards Montpelier off of 295. Road goes down to 2 lanes. Past the Tyson chicken place. On the right at corner of Winns Church road.

Despite attempts to use salsa, cholula, anything, the queso was disgustingly overpowering, being the equivalent of blended cottage cheese on top of a blisteringly hot skillet, which is a hazard, because they seal the skillets off in plastic containers before serving, which is crazy hot when trying to carry to a table. $15 for each of these disgusting skillets, which we could not even finish half of. When I offered feedback, the worker was rude and stated "well, we've been doing it for 4 years this way and you're the first person to say anything", as if that makes a difference - today, it was not the move (it's an American skillet with nothing Mexican about it, just use cheddar or something, it's not even Tex-Mex). The coffee is OK, nothing special, only the wait times are extraordinarily long for what makes Starbucks look like a 5 star-enterprise. Ambiance is charming; definitely stayed for the Jesus Christ-themed coffee, which is definitely a choice to say the least...

I haven't had a bad plate yet! Their biscuits and gravy are to die for! Coffee beans are roasted in house! You can buy beans to go. They make all the coffee house drinks to order. One of my favs is their dirty matcha latte! Amazing! $2 Tuesdays at the ice cream counter will get you two GINOURMOUS scoops of their in house made ice cream. Their sundaes are enough to feed a table of folks. The soft serve is legit my favorite of any I've ever tasted! Fresh meat available as well as deli cheese and meat. Stop by early on Saturdays for their Kunzer bacon special. Usually around $45 for a 10 POUND slab! They have in house bacon available now too! Stop in, you won't be disappointed!
