The drive will take you over mountains, along the coast, open highways, and thru dense urban centers. I have only driven US Hwy 101 south to Santa Maria, and North to Eureka. I live in the SF Bay Area, and I get to experience probably the worst part of Hwy 101....when it passes thru the San Francisco Bay Area. There is no freeway that runs north-south thru the City of San Francisco. Hwy 101 will force you to drive on city streets. But the good part, you will drive across the Golden Gate Bridge! The most photographed man made structure in the world! Heading north, once you get north of Santa Rosa driving on Hwy 101 will be a pleasure. You will have mostly open highway driving with small towns along the way. You might see unique places like The Bigfoot Store or Confusion Hill. Watch your speed, lots of CA Highway Patrol on this road.

But as you progress inland, you'll start to see more off road cars. We went to both obstacle courses (4x4 and Adventure Track). The 4x4 obstacle course was more technical and advanced. We saw a few people get stuck in certain places, thankfully there were a bunch of people willing to help out. The adventure track was more doable, there were usually 2 (easier/harder) options to get to a destination. Great experience! Would definitely come back again.

The infestation was so severe that we had to buy our own ant spray, lost well over $100 in food, and are now bringing ants home in our RV. What was most frustrating wasn't just the ants--it was how the situation was handled. We were told that the 140 sites are "really a problem." Later, however, when speaking to the owner she claimed they weren't aware of an ant problem. Those two statements don't line up. We talked with a few of the long-term residents around us and they all have ant problems. The management seems to want to keep it quiet by intimidating long-term residents and staff. When we asked for some reasonable accommodation, even just a refund for a couple of nights, there was no willingness to work with us. Instead, we were told the ants were probably already in our RV and were advised to Google how to get rid of them. By doing our own investigation with the people who were parked around us, obviously, this was a known problem and the owner was flat-out lying. We weren't looking for a free vacation. We were looking for a business to stand behind its guests when something clearly went wrong. Even refunding one night would have shown good faith. It's unfortunate because we've enjoyed staying here in the past. But after this experience, and the complete lack of customer service afterward, we can't recommend staying here until the ant and customer service issues are addressed.

Diamond Member here and stay at many different Hilton brands across the US…read more Congratulations to the hotel franchise owner for installing the WORST shower head and toilet in a hotel room. So if you want the experience of almost knocking into the toilet as you enter the bathroom sliding then this hotel is for you!! Took a shower and the pressure is at a slow "sprinkle." Usually at hotels I will then adjust the shower head with a turn or flip there to make it come out with more force. No can do in this apparatus...that is the ONLY setting! My 10 minute shower turned into 25 minutes as I tried to get the shampoo and conditioner out of my long hair. As I was drying my hair more suds appeared....grrrrrrr! So back in U went for another 10 minutes wishing that my head could fit under the sink faucet as the pressure was a little better there or a shower tub combo. Why do hotel owners think that installing these crappy shower heads will save them water when guests end up using more? This also got me realizing that housekeeping cannot fully clean the shower as the pressure is so low to wash it down and inot enough water being used to wash the towels in their laundry room....yikes!!!‍ Only saving grace is that the hotel bill is being paid by the company AMEX and not my pocket because I'd be The only saving
