Thanks for having us! We enjoyed our 3 night stay for this Fourth of July. The park was well kept, the pool was well kept and has so many different floaties for the kids to play with. This location is great as it's close to Target and Costco, very convenient. 15 to 20 mins drive to Gilroy Garden. We stayed at site 158 and wish we should've researched a bit more for a wider spot. It's totally our preference of having wider spaces for a more relaxed feel and not having to feel a bit crammed up. Which this did feel a bit to me. But still good. read more

This is basically a hot parking lot with no shade. The little patch of grass is off limits to pets. We had to walk them on the street along many homeless folks. The electric y was not adequate for the demand. AC shut down repeatedly. read more

Definitely not KOA level accommodations. There is a lot of full time RV residents here. Some are clean, and some look pretty shabby. We were in a 40 foot diesel pusher, and were between two full time spots. One was pretty messy with a tweeker looking guy in it, and the other not too bad. The men's bathroom needed some cleaning. Not very impressed with this one. read more

The manager Sonny is may act nice but really he not friendly. If you get on his bad side him and his friends will threaten you and harass you. The neighbors will slam their doors, and be loud for no reason just to make you mad then claim something is "wrong with their trailer". They will for no reason go in front of your place and will rev their engines and even honk their horn just to wake you up. The owner Constantinos Karkalemis does not care about anyone staying here. If you call him about a issue at the Rv park he will claim he will "do something" but when he says That it means he will have the police evict you from the property. Do not trust this place because if you are here for long term they will violate your rights as a tenant in any way they can. read more

We hadn't stayed here in many years. But did so Oct 22,23 check out 24th. 2024 . It has changed alot. Most of the park is full timers. The grounds workers do a pretty good job keeping things clean. The desk staff where very nice and directed us to our spot. The spots are pretty narrow. I counted 13 for overnighters. That being said, it's convenient because it's next to everything. Costco,Walmart, Marshalls, Home Goods and restaurants are just down the street. even the freeway. So we'd stay here again. A big thanks to everyone who keeps this place running. Good job ! read more

We stayed here Oct 22,23 checked out 24th, 2024th It's been many years since we've been here. It's changed alot having most of the park as full timers. I counted 13 sites available to over nighters. ( short term ) The staff at the desk where nice and helpful. Grounds are kept up. Sites are pretty narrow. But this RV place is close to restaurants, Costco, Marshalls, Walmart, and Home Goods. Stayed in this park often BEFORE it was sold 8? years ago. Maintained beautifully. We drove thru there the other day....dried weeds all over most sites. Too many full-timers with junk all over their sites, a broken down car or 2. Dirty. Few maintain their rigs (wash etc). I expected such poor maintenance at Gilroy Garlic Farm Rv. NOT at GGUSA. There USED to be standards. Now it looks as tho (even those that live there) have no pride in their "property". Truly disappointed and skeptical of the safety in this park. read more

Isn't a bad place but a lot and I mean a lot of people reside here full time so you get some walking around looking frumpy because it's where they call home. Just stayed one night passing through, was decently priced for the night and the pull in spots were easy to get in and out of. read more

It depends what you want. This is obviously where a lot of people live. It's clean and well kept. The sites are very narrow. We have steps to help our dog get into our trailer and there was barely enough room for them.. The wi-fi did not work of course, but at least the cable did. read more

We really like this RV Park. It is convenient, the people are nice and they have the best internet I have ever had in an RV park. Target is right across the street, restaurants are conveniently nearby. The 101 is easy on and off. I debated whether to write this as I don't want it to get any more crowded than it already is. read more

This RV park is not very impressive,There is a lot of cons and very few pros . Firstly it's close to shops that's the only pro now here is my list of cons . There is a non refundable application fee there is a non refundable deposit for site fee. Rent is over a $1000 if you want to stay monthly excluding Electric, the spaces are very very tight there is no place for parking,There is no spaces for F350 ,terrible dog park ,you can't have your dog anywhere but in the park , the spaces are completely tight. You have to make an appointment to use the pool . It's just terrible ... read more

If you are a family. I HIGHLY do not recommend staying here. For one they charge you to run a background check on you when they have PEDOPHILES that live in the campground. I didn't feel safe with my child. Second the pool is not heated at all. Third they do not pick any weeds out of your lot. It's disgusting. Fourth if you stay monthly you get an electricity bill. But they don't put it in the right cubby for your number lot at the front. The dog area is so tiny. The manager is not responsible at all. The sites are not level either if you have a fifth wheel with an automatic leveler. We travel long term and this has been the worst one I've stayed at with my child. read more

The back ground check and credit check is a complete rip off avoid this place at all costs this guy is a scammer... my credit and back ground is good enough to move in to any apartment in the Bay Area and was good enough to purchase a 80k rig plus I make well over a 100k a year and they said no.. I'm contacting the better business bureau on this clown. I'm pretty sure apartment complexes are more stringent on their credit checks than a crummy RV park! read more

Very friendly office. Large and easy access park for a short stay. All facilities are very clean as are the sites. Lots of long term residents, lots. This place was a nice stop over for our travels along the 101. Yes, we will stay here again. All facilities are kept very clean & showers were nice & warm. Oh, dog park is a small fenced in area from away from we were staying. Very few spots to walk your fur baby to do his business...all grass of off limits to dogs. read more

Customer service in the office was not acceptable. We don't expect anything fancy or hoity toity, but....common courtesy is expected as guests! This park has way too many permanent residents & it's packed full like the proverbial sardine can. The woman that checked us in (I hesitate to refer to her as a lady) was just plain rude & hostile?! We rv a lot, know the drill of RV'ing educate, & we are good human beings with a newer pull trailer rv & vehicle. I'm at a loss as to why the attitude was so negative here? We won't be back, the rude office person & the packed park with too many permanent residences left a bad taste (& it wasn't the Garlic either!). read more

We picked this park to stay in (for 5 nights) because of the location. It's great if you want to be close to shopping & nice restaurants. That's about it. We're not impressed at all by the condition or the amenities whatsoever. Facility maintenance and upkeep is just about non-existent. The men's shower/bathroom is trashed; for example: soap dispensers pulled off the walls, a urinal wall was pulled down and left setting up against a wall. There's nowhere to set your "stuff" down while taking a shower; no handicap bench, or anything like that. The sites are all concrete; zero picnic tables, very few trees (they're all at the long-term sites). 3/4 of the park is long-term, with lots of kids (and skateboards and bikes and remote control toys). There are a ton of rules, but none are enforced! So, if you want to make a stopover for shopping, then okay (sort of). Otherwise, keep moving down the line. read more

We've stayed here many times in the past. We have always been pleassed with the experiene. It has always been a clean, well-maintained park with pleasant staff. Not so this time. We were told that the staff has changed - and it is certainly evident. While there are many empty spaces in the park, as new RV's arrive they are assigned sites right on top of each other with no privacy between spaces, while lots of other sites remain empty. The wifi is a joke!!!! If it is important that you "stay connected", keep looking for another park. Connection has always been a bit slow during our previous visits, but it is nearly non-existant now. It is MUCH, MUCH slower than "dial up" service was in the early days of PC's and laptops. Logging on takes the better part of an hour (no joke!!!). Then the connection gets frequently dropped and you have to start all over again. My husband talked to a man working on the connections here in the park. The new management recently switched over from a previous system and the worker says the system is a "cheap one". He is trying to add more bands to improve the system and speed, but it will take some time. Unless major improvements in staff and technology are implemented we will look for other RV parks for future visits. read more

Checked into this RV park, where I was asked for the age of my RV. Wasn't an issue so they continued checking us in, paid our one nights rent and I informed them we may need up to a week because of mechanical problems we were having for the past 100+ miles. Immediately after pulling into the property I was nearly blocked by the front desk lady (name unknown at this point) who told me I could stay the night but I'd have to be gone in the morning. When I asked the reason I was told we have a 10 year rule. Obviously this is fabricated (after-the-fact) because there are other units within the park older than 10+ years, and it wasn't an issue when I informed her of the units age (mid-1990's) at check in but suddenly was an issue. In my opinion you might want to avoid this RV park in Gilroy, California (The Anti-RV City). read more

This park is located too close to the freeway but close to shopping. The place is boring. Very few trees. Main building is the highlight. The pool is tiny. The TV service is a joke unless you live on Fox News. 18 channels. That's it. We've stayed at parks out inf the middle of no where and gotten much better TV offerings than this one. The bathrooms are clean but wet because when you show, the shower head points at you as you draw the shower curtain open making it impossible to avoid getting wet BEFORE your planned shower. Also, the lip of the shower is so low, the water runs over and out on to the floor. Additionally, there is no where to sit in the shower area making it very hard to get dressed and undressed. We will give this park a pass next time. Not worth the price. read more

I live in this park, and work in Morgan Hill, it's the best in the area. It's location is close to the freeway, but not to noisy. The sites are large with concrete pads and concrete patios. Walk to shopping, Target, Barnes and Noble,Bed Bath and Beyond plus many others and restaurants, are right out of the park entrance. Costco and a bunch more stores and restaurants are about 8 blocks away. Then, the outlets are about a mile past that. The staff is friendly and the park is clean. There are nice farm and mountain views from some of the sites. I stayed last year as well, went to Palm Desert for the winter and came back to this park. Steve C. read more

First off, this resort is close to anything and everything a person can ask for. The park is well maintained and the staff is awesome! The full-timers seem super nice and welcoming too! And best part, they have no stupid size restrictions on dogs, so our two Great Danes are right at home! The only reason I am not adding that coveted 5th star is the sites are just a tad slender for our greedy 42' diesel pusher to spread out all three slides and still have ample outdoor seating. Don't get me wrong, the site as very nice. But our rig is a space hog and that is sure not the park's fault! I will say that we are thrilled to be staying here off and on for the best part of our 3-month stay in the area for work, and we will definitely stay here whenever we come up this way!!!! read more

OK... I have been forced to update my review for Gilroy Garlic USA. See below for the old review. They have essentially changed this into two RV parks - the "adult" side and the "kids" side. We always were on the east side of the park, which is now the "adult" side. We went back and wanted to stay in our usual spots, but we were told that we could not stay there because we have a 4 year old daughter. I understand the goal of the park here. But, not all "kids" are the same. On the "kids" side, there are many full timers, some of which have 4 kids or more in one RV, and the kids have no discipline what-so-ever. They are running through other people's sites, making noise late at night, etc. There is no way my 4 year old would ever act this way - nor do I want her to be learning from these other kids. This side of the park is now more like what you would think of a "trailer park" as opposed to an RV park. Don't get me wrong - they are very friendly, and the park is still pretty nice. But the isolating of all the children has made this almost into two different parks. We decided to stay where we are and not go back to this park again. Old review follows.... DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH THE GARLIC FARM RV PARK. THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT. This is a very nice RV park, and close to anything you could want. Contrary to the previous reviewer, I feel safe with my wife and 4 month old here when I am away. This is not a campground. There are no fire pits or picnic tables. It is more resort type, with concrete sites and many pull through sites. 50 amp power is available and we have not had issues with it. The park manager ensures that the park is well kept. There are quite a few full timers, but there are no run down or dumpy looking rigs. The bathrooms and laundry are clean and operate well. The guests are friendly. The location is second to none - it's just off 101, but with little traffic noise. It is right behind Target and within walking distance to Walmart, Costco and many restaurants. On the east end and to the back are large garlic fields. No loud neighbors to keep you up! For late arrivals, they have a procedure where you just call the manager from the park entrance and you will be in a site within 3 minutes. I have never had any security issues and have stayed here frequently. read more

Very nice park near shopping centers, close to hwys 152 east & 101. Big clubhouse with kitchen for chapter campouts. Clean, wide streets, nice landscaping, friendly staff. Close enough to visit the coast, Santa Cruz etc. Lots to see around here. read more

What to say? Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park is just not my kind of place. However, I shall keep things positive by pointing out certain park features that may well appeal to certain demographics. For example, if you're a big fan of your basic Target/Ross strip malls and chain restaurants, you're in luck. The RV park is situated directly behind the shipping docks. You can easily walk to the mall, although hiking through those massive parking lots is just weird. Likewise, if the soothing sounds of a regional highway helps you sleep at night, then know this, the 101 is a mere 150 yards away. Similarly, if you of an authoritarian bent, or perhaps into some light domination, then you will discover no end of thrills with the park's rules and regulations. Exceed the speed limit, kicked out. Walk on the grass, kicked out. Grease down the sink, kicked out (permanently, with all caps and multiple exclamation marks -- so they really really mean it). Abuse the Wifi bandwidth limits, kicked o.... oh wait. That last one's actually not possible. I mean, you can connect to the park's Wifi just fine, after much fiddling and agreeing to behave, but once you're successfully connected to it, you're still not, in any way, actually online. Because it doesn't work. Ever. (Editor's Note: Since you are literally still in town, the phone coverage is excellent. Tether off your phone and you 're good.) Enough about rules and surroundings. What about the park itself? Well, it has a lot of concrete. If you're into flat artificial rock-like slabs, you will be very happy here. Sadly though, all that gorgeous concrete is pretty much covered cheek to jowl by tightly parked 5th Wheels, small fences, string lights, and an odd assortment of electric cars and pickup trucks. It's a popular place! Pretty sure half of its guests are not guests at all, but residents. The facilities are clean-ish and, shall we say, weathered. Don't shower without flip flops. They're also passcode protected, but locked down between 10pm and 5:30am. Probably to keep all the locals out. Not sure. Don't really want to know. It's too bad. Because the region around Gilroy is truly stunning. Farms and hills as far as the eye can see. County parks within easy reach, both east and west. If your rig is less than 28 feet, you may want go ahead and head up the hills to Mt. Madonna County Park to the west, or Coyote Lake Harvey Bear Ranch Park to the east. They're both less expensive, surrounded by trees, hiking trails, lakes, and the facilities are cleaner. read more

I can't help but draw comparisons with previous rv parks we've been staying in during our long camping trip with 16 other friends. This RV park does everything right. Kind and thoughtful staff, clean facilities, well designed layout for parking rigs, and everything works! I hope we can come back in the future because I am kinda sad to leave. Debra was always the best manager she was nice and polite as well equal with everyone. Debra has order and had the park cleaned. After her daughter Melony took over and it went down the drain. So now there's new ownership in this park before we felt discriminated and thought it was going to change with the new owners/employees but it's way worse. They harass us with their letters of the paperwork we have already turned in. I just don't understand why they're so demanding on the driver's license but only with certain people. They fired everyone that were working at the office expect one racist white lady. Oh also they used to pick up the garbage from our sites but they don't do that anymore and they closed where the garbage bins were at. Also they added solar panels but wait they're going to start to charge us for electricity separately. I know with the solar panel they will be saving electricity and at the same time will be getting money back but wants to charge us way more. They are greedy and racist. A white couple lived close to us and had an aggressive dog that bite two people in the park and instead of evict them they just moved them to another spot and still with the dog. This place will go down the drain if they aren't equal with everyone also if they raise the rent. Plus this place isn't clean weeds growing big the trees are big as well. They used to have channels but that's gone and the WiFi is weak. They're just watching every step we make and not living comfortable. The only good perks about this place it's walking distance from the store that's the only good thing. Don't waste your time here because the employees act like they are better than everyone. As well they act a certain wait when there's people in the office than when they're alone. So don't waste your money here only to be treated like crap. Just a honest review. read more

Stayed at Gilroy Garlic RV park for a couple months. Me and the wife. It's located in the southern section of Gilroy. It's freeway close, and is adjacent to a shopping district. Within walking distance is a Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Michael's and others. The front of the park faces the backs of these big stores. A very short drive away are Walmart, Lowe's, Costco and many other superstores. A half mile north is the Gilroy Premium Outlet Center. So if you like shopping, this is your park. Obviously, there are restaurants abound. Walmart is the only local choice for groceries. The Target here does not sell fresh produce. There are other grocery stores within a couple miles, if you prefer. This is a pet friendly facility. There is a lawn area on the west end with chairs under a giant pecan tree (yep, just like in the south). A small dog run is there to unleash your canine if you wish. It's the only area where it's designated to have the dogs relieve themselves. Don't ever get caught walking your dog on the grass near the office. You'll regret that one for a LONG time. Most people walk their dogs across the street, near the Target store back lot. The grassy boulevard is just as far and you don't get called into the office and scolded. The layout is a bit cramped. A concrete slab for every lot with full hookups. The cable has 17 or 18 channels. Reception is hit or miss with top clarity. Everything comes through, just a matter of how much 'snow' from one to the next. Wi-Fi is at best -- pathetic. This is a city dwellers RV park, not the Redwood Forest. There are 3 sets of restrooms with showers, all are cypher locked which requires a 4-digit code for access. They are open from 6:am to 10:pm. The restrooms are somewhat clean, it's obvious the lady who scrubs them daily tries hard. However, it's the visitors you need to keep an eye on. I walked in one evening to shower, and someone had pooped a huge smelly pile right there in the shower stall. The disappointing part (as though this wasn't) was the action take to clean it up, or the LACK thereof. Usually in health clubs, the janitors do a thorough cleaning just as they close and lock up. That way the morning crowd doesn't have to deal with this shit. It wasn't until 10:30 the next morning before someone finally addressed it. The main building is mostly the customer office and tiny store that has minor camping items. Be careful what you SAY to the staff. The manager is inherently high-strung and tends to take things the wrong way. She is just like the feared Vice Principal at a snotty Middle School. I had been called into her office to explain myself like a 7th grader who broke the cafeteria window. (I was called in because I missed and initial on the Tenant Contract, but she made me feel like I pissed in the Holy water). The negative reviews are somewhat true. The manager Debra (in my wife's words) is "a total bitch". I will soften up on that a tad an say she means well, but needs tremendous help with her people skills. Case in point; I was getting quarters for laundry in the office when a customer was asking some questions. Her reply instead of trying to understand the gentleman was "Well, you are free to go to any other RV park if this one doesn't suit you". I swear, that's what she said, verbatim, to an arriving customer! Keep in mind, about 30% of the park was vacant. Be careful of the office staff. They had gotten confused regarding some documents. (They require LOADS of credentials, proof of insurance, Vehicle registration, credit info, auto-pay with credit card number, criminal background info and prior residential references with addresses and phones and your first born just to get a spot) I straightened it out without issue. Gilroy Garlic can be a really nice place, especially vacationers who want to be within striking distance to Monterey, the Santa Cruz redwoods, Moss Landing and shopping galore. A few tweaks and attitude adjustments and I'd give it 4-stars. As it is now, (sigh!) I've moved on and can say this is a great place, . . . to be from!!! read more

My husband and I stayed here for over 2 months while on a job assignment in San Jose. We frequently travel in our 5th wheel for 1-3 month stays at a time. This was the first time I felt like I was "home away from home". The staff, lead by Debra, are friendly, professional, helpful and seem to be working around the clock. You can tell they all really care about making the park nice for everyone. The pool area, bathrooms, showers, laundry room, club house and grounds are very clean and well maintained. There are approx 175 sites, both pull-thru & back-ins, with level concrete slabs. There is a mix of full-timer's, part-timers and daily/weekly visitors. The park feels safe, is pretty quiet and dog friendly-complete with a grassy dog run & p/u bags. Basic cable and wi-fi are offered for free. Convenient location off Hwy 101 and 152. It is within walking distance to shopping & dining and just a short drive to the mtns, wineries, outlet stores, coast and more. We enjoyed staying here and look forward to staying here again. read more

We found this gem for a 2 week stay after leaving the San Francisco area. We were looking for a nice park that would accommodate our 40 ft motorhome. We are full-time RV'ers so we have seen our share of RV parks. We love this park it has large pull- throughs with lots of room for your tow vehicle. Level concrete pads, full hookups, including cable TV and internet. I would highly recommend this park for big RV's and small ones too. Location, location, location, you can't beat all the nearby, within walking distance shopping and restaurants, also a short drive to 145 Outlet stores. The grounds are beautiful with flowers a very nice grassy area for the dogs and a fenced in area for the dogs to run free. The manager is a very friendly and accommodating person who works very hard to keep the park in great condition. She is open and flexible to the needs of the people in the park. Bottom line a great place to stay for awhile, we're glad we did. We'll be back!!! read more

Great place, made reservations here about a month before the garlic festival, I was hesitant based on some of the yelp reviews, they required a two night minimum with a no cancellation, no refund policy. The stay included two person BBQ for the two reservation night stay. Upon arrival they had an envelope ready and check in was fast, which provided more time to set up the RV, the space included full hook ups, cable tv and free wifi. A laundry room, pool and a small store with propane available. The stay also included a van ride to and from the garlic festival, this was great, drop off/pick up at the gate. During the BBQ night they also had raffles and a live band until ten PM. This location also provides a reasonable drive distance to other venues such as the Monterey Aquarium and even the San Francisco Bay area. Near the RV park there are plenty of restaurants and a shopping center within walking distance. This park is only for RVs, no tent camping is available, I plan to return and highly recommend it. read more

Our friend became critically ill, and we had to quickly find an RV space for his parents, who received the emergency phone while camping in Arizona. They would be driving all night to get to town and needed a pull through space for their fifth wheel. I called around to several parks, however, they were either; full (Spring Break!), no one answered the phone, or they could not accommodate a fifth wheel trailer. A nearby park referred me to Gilroy Garlic RV Park. Boy was I relieved when Melanie answered the phone and said she could help US! Melanie looked at the calendar and told me the park was currently full, but someone would be vacating a pull through space later that day at 11am - and offered to hold the space for us without the required non-refundable deposit. I called our friends, who at the time, had been driving for over 18 hours, with another 8 hours ahead of them, they were relieved knowing they had a place to park and sleep for a few nights. Well, as luck would have it, a few nights turned into a few weeks. Melanie and the staff were so accommodating, allowing our friends parents to extend their stay on a day-to-day basis. I asked my friends parents how the park was and the first thing they said was that is VERY clean, well managed, conveniently located to shopping/services, and the laundry room was one of the best that had seen (they travel extensively in their trailer). They reported the pool was sparkling and were looking forward to taking a swim. Overall a great stay during a very stressful and sad time. Thank you Melanie for your hospitality!
