Gilroy Noodle House has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Gilroy. I absolutely love this place! The pho is hands down the best in the area. The broth is rich, flavorful, and tastes like it's been simmering for hours. The meat is always fresh and tender, the noodles are cooked perfectly, and every bowl is served hot and full of flavor. It's the kind of comfort food that keeps you coming back. The fresh spring rolls are another favorite of mine. They're always made fresh with crisp vegetables, quality ingredients, and a delicious peanut dipping sauce. Everything I've tried has tasted fresh and homemade. One of the things I appreciate most is how clean the restaurant is every time I visit. The dining area is spotless, the tables are always clean, and the entire restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. The owners are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They truly appreciate their customers and always make you feel welcome. Their employees are just as friendly, polite, and attentive, providing excellent customer service from the moment you walk in. I'm especially happy that Gilroy finally has such an amazing Vietnamese pho restaurant. It's less than a mile from my house, which makes it even more convenient, and it's become one of my regular places to eat. Whether I'm dining in or picking up takeout, the food and service are consistently outstanding. After Gilroy Gardens, I wanted anything but pizza and pretzels. Yelped pho and this place popped up. The young gentleman greeted us and had us sit anywhere. We got: Pho with different meats and a separate bowl of meatball. The broth was good, a little on the oily side but good. Spring roll: I got it without noodles. I appreciated that the pork was lean and not fatty. It was a good roll, however the peanut sauce tasted like straight thick peanut butter, it needed to be thinner, sweeter and have more of that umami taste. Grilled chicken rice plate: I enjoyed this dish, the chicken was flavorful and the salad and rice paired well together. The young boy and man who I'm assuming is family are very nice. They are welcoming and pleasant. I'm glad this place is closer to us. We live in Morgan Hill and I do not approve of any of the pho places there for their lack of flavor. Gilroy Noodles has plenty of outdoor parking. The restaurant is clean and casual. They have a pretty big menu, and the prices are reasonable. The servers were friendly and helpful. I'm a huge fan of Gilroy Noodle (I've only ordered to-go as FYI). I have had terrible to lack luster experiences with noodle dishes here in Gilroy. For the longest time to get a decent Pho or vermicelli dish we would have to drive north or west. I fist tried Gilroy noodle with trepidation... I've not always had the best dining experiences in Gilroy since I've moved here. What sheer relief and joy I felt when I tasted my first bite several months ago with the shrimp vermicelli dish. FINALLY a decent (Yummy!) place to eat in Gilroy! Evetything I've ordered and happily eaten is well seasoned... the ingredients are fresh and properly prepared. No matter what dish I order the shrimp or fish always properly cooked. The to-go orders are so carefully packaged for optimal enjoyment at home; things are packaged separately if they need to be ... etc. they never forget condiments or sides. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The slushies, lemonades, and teas are all tasty (too sweet for my taste but the hubby loves them). I do wish that they had a few more options without meat but that's just a selfish minor point. I'm so glad we have this place close to me here in little old Gilroy! Solid place for Vietnamese pho, garlic noodles and rice dishes. Went here after a full day at nearby Gilroy Gardens. Very nice and spacious dining room with lots of tables and lighting. We had a party of 8 and they were easily able to accommodate us. This family owned restaurant has nice, friendly and helpful staff. Due to the brisk fall weather we were in the mood for some soup. Gilroy Noodle came up on the search as a new pho spot that just opened 9 months ago. Since they were close proximity to us, we decided to go try them out. We arrived on a Sunday early evening for an early dinner. The restaurant is located in an older plaza by the auto mall car dealerships in Gilroy. Parking is accessible in the large parking lot. The modern decor was very simple and bright. There are plenty of tables for dine in the fairly large dining room. Large TVs are hanging on the wall but only 1 TV was on. We ordered a beef balls pho, oxtail pho, and a shrimp vermicelli. Everything was authentic and flavorful. My oxtail pho was very tasty and the broth was soothing rich. The shrimp in the vermicelli was quite plump and juicy. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Gilroy Noodle. The service was friendly and helpful. I felt the vibe was family friendly and bustling with plenty of customers. It was nice to try this new pho restaurant and see what they are all about. I would come back again to try other dishes. read more

This is my first time visiting food establishments down in Gilroy. I have a gig later this evening and I thought to try some of the local cuisine. I had two choices, and a less than positive rating in the other one steered me to this place - and I am soooo happy that I made the right choice. The first impression coming through the door is bright and clean! Immaculate on this point. This place had a happy vibe to it. I was seated immediately. And given the menu. Today I was in the mood for fish, so I choose the salted fish plate. Less than five minutes later I was presented with a beautifully arranged plate of the rice, salt-crusted fish, with a couple of largely -sliced cucumber with some julienned carrots and jicama (I think). I was not disappointed! In fact, I was in heaven, smiling at the deliciousness before me! The rice was hot, fluffy and delicate, and the entree hot and tasty. The fish was not overly salted, and the crust was not hard or over cooked - everything was perfectly prepared. I was impressed, more about how the food was prepared. Keep in mind that the food arrived in less than five minutes after ordering. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the fish was not one large filet, rather came in a dozen smaller thumb-sized pieces. The vegetables were also finely chopped. I suspect that both of these influenced the speed of delivery. The vegetables were evenly cooked, with no sogginess or rawness of being undercooked. The seasoning, temperature, smell, size of bites were meticulously prepared for maximum tastiness. I am just amazed at how delicious the dish was (if I had a qualm, I thought the cucumber slices too large and too heavy, as my first pickup with chopsticks resulted in the cucumber slipping through the sticks and causing a big mess as it fell into the small vinegar bowl.). But hey, that was my fault for being careless . . .) I highly recommend Gilroy Noodle as anyone's first choice for Vietnamese food in the Gilroy area. As an added bonus, it is located conveniently just off of 101 - easy off, easy on if traveling further south. Easily, this place has moved up to #1 for Vietnamese food anywhere! read more

People , we finally have a must try restaurant in Gilroy. I was starting to lose hope.- the restaurant scene sucks in Gilroy (until now). Clean , modern , and oh so tasty. Best meal that I have had in last 5 years -easily! I hope Gilroy Noodle never cuts corners or starts to use cheap ingredients. I had my lunch 5 hours ago, and I am still smiling about it. I opted for the number 15 , and I couldn't recommend more. Beef tenderloin over garlic noodles. Omg , this dish was absolutely perfect. The meal was so good , I thought about eating the plate that it was served on. Oh , and the noodles were so good they will make you want to slap your Momma. No, don't do that for real. My friend and I decided to check this place out on our way back to San Jose from Monterey. We were immediately greeted and seated upon arrival of almost a full restaurant. The menu has a wide selection of Vietnamese dishes -- everything from rice plates and garlic noodles to pho and bún bò Huế. My friend ordered the phở đặc biệt, and I had the bún bò Huế. Both broths were rich and flavorful. I added a bit more chili oil to mine for an extra kick, and it was perfect. They also provide a nice variety of fresh veggies and condiments to customize your bowl just the way you like it. The service was excellent -- the staff checked on us multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a plus. They accept Apple Pay, which was super convenient. Just a heads up: they offer a discount for cash payments, but if your total is under $20 and you pay with a card, there's a small fee. Since I was in the area, I dined at Garlic Noodle and shared a #8 Flank, Brisket, Tendon Pho and #18 Grilled Pork Garlic Noodles. While the broth was flavorful, the garlic noodles had a very subdued flavor, but the noodles had a good chew. Initially, I was interested in the lobster with garlic noodles because there was a sign on the table advertising the dish for Market Price, alas, you have to call and order a day in advance providing it's for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. When dining, be prepared for the amount of noise due to the warehouse like setting. If there's a fussy child in the house, you'll be sure to hear it. When I found out there was a new viet restaurant in Gilroy, I knew I had to come check it out ASAP! Ambiance wise, I'm a big fan! There's so much space and everything is very clean. Very breathable! The spring rolls were solid - the peanut sauce was VERY tasty. Pho was pretty good as well - it's hard to nail the broth and I think it was good. I actually liked the Bun Bo Hue more at this restaurant which I was surprised by! It's really hard to nail BBH broth - I was a fan. I'll have to come back to try their other types of dishes like rice & vermicelli. No complaints about service - they were very attentive. Our server would check in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. The owner also came out to see if we liked our food and asked us for feedback which I appreciated. My girlfriend has been coming to Gilroy Noodle for many times now and always has good things to say from her visits! Food is on point. Fish sauce wings sound intimidating but very lightly and pleasantly seasoned and crispy. The beef meatballs texture and seasoning is exactly what it should be with a generous amount of broth. You can tell the broth is made from bones .The spring rolls were well wrapped to prevent them from drying out. My husband loves the garlic noodles and cube steaks. We found this place by random luck. I was craving an avocado smoothie, so i came here to buy one. The food looked so good, so we decided to eat here. We ordered shaken beef with garlic noodles, Pho Tai and Bun Bo Hue! Wow, all 3 dishes were delicious!!!! They tasted very authentic. My picky family ate everything on their plate! Also, the customer service was amazing. Service was very quick! Even the owner came out to chat with us. He was very friendly and passionate about his food. I can see why this place has become popular in such a short amount of time. They are a one stop shop for delicious authentic Vietnamese dishes (pho, rice plates, vermicelli bowls, garlic noodles, spring rolls, bun bo hue, etc) and refreshing boba drinks. First off, I am Vietnamese, so I feel like my opinion may have some weight since I've eaten this food growing up and still love it till this day!! The owner was surprised how good my Vietnamese was assuming not many Vietnamese people in their late 20's live in Gilroy haha. I ordered Bun Bo Hue and my partner got the garlic noodles with bo luc lac (shaken beef). For catering to the Gilroy demographic (more non-Asians), I strongly believe the Bun Bo Hue was good! We finished the bowl!! It had the spicy flavors that you'd get from BBH and the meats tasted good. I'd order it again. Garlic noodles were so good! Vietnamese food tends to be sweet so you will get sweet flavors from the egg noodles so I'm glad the garlic, onion, and bell peppers balance it out. Have to be honest, I did not enjoy the pho and might not order it again. The soup base was indeed bland compared to what I'm used to. The meats were good though and noodles weren't over cooked. Stopped by Gilroy Noodle with my wife and daughter on our way home last night and we were so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious packed with flavor and served fresh. Better off asking the guy who brings your food out. He actually brings out what you ask for and if you need anything else. The broth was good, but i was honestly disappointed with everything else. The meat was kinda tough, only 2 very small pieces of cartilage, not a whole lot of meat, and I ran out of noodles. I've been looking forward to trying this place so I finally went and grabbed takeout. The restaurant was clean and nice. I ordered the chicken pho and spring rolls. Once I got home I realized I didn't receive any sides for my pho! No basil, bean sprouts, lime..... nothing! Super bummed since I love all those things in my soup.
