Worst grooming customer service Ive ever had in over 20 years of taking many dogs to groomers in multiple States and locations as we travel often w/ our small dogs. Staff has poor customer service being passive-aggressive, batting & rolling her eyes, and then when speaking to the manager, Jay didnt want to address it. I've used other Pet Supply Plus grooming services at other locations with great service, so it's just this branch. Needs new management that will address poor service concerns. read more

Had a horrible experience washing my dogs with the cashier Jadon A. He was very rude and made me feel really uncomfortable during the whole experience. When I asked about joining the rewards program at checkout, he ignored me and continued to put his information in to get the points. He continued to huff and puff during the whole process, and he kept mumbling to himself. This guy is weird. When I asked for a receipt (after not being offered one) Jadon said "I'll print one out when I get a chance" as he continued to look for the item he was trying to put back on the shelf. We love this little pet store. We buy a lot of dog food for our two large golden retrievers. They usually have plenty in stock but if they are out, they call the closet Pet Supply Plus store and arrange to have the bags pull off the shelf and ready for pickup. The manager is awesome. read more

I love Pet Supply Plus. They are always very helpful and when I needed to change dog food for a senior dog, they helped me select a couple of varieties that she might like. Just last week I was in there with a different request and they helped me out. I have bought several fish which are thriving as well. Very disappointed with this place! I have been here twice but will not be returning again. The first time I let it slide and wanted to give them a second chance. Big mistake. I have a 5 year old sweet English bulldog who needed nails trimmed. I don't like doing it myself because I don't want to hurt him, I'm not a professional. When he was picked up we were told that they were not able to trim his nails because he "almost" bit them?? When we picked him up he was very anxious and very worked up. We were still charged $20.00. We then asked why we are being charged if they were not able to trim his nails. The young girl said they did trim "a little". So you were able to trim all 10 nails just "a little" even after he tried to "bite you??" The girls there in the grooming dept are not helpful, not professional and it seems like they have no experience. I have NEVER been told that my sweet boy tried to bite anyone. I will be driving all the way back to Petsmart AGAIN. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! read more

After trying this place for 2 months, all I can say is that I wish I had the option to give this place -5 stars. I simply wanted to wash my two Chihuahuas using their bathing station. They wanted to charge $20 for both when I can easily pay $10 at Petco and wash two for the price of one. In addition, these people will constantly bombard you for your private information in order to sign up for their mediocre rewards program. Every time I buy some dog food, the first thing the clerks always ask for are my email, phone number, name, etc. without even asking if I was interested in their newsletters, discounts, or rewards program in the first place. I will never go back to this place and would definitely not recommend it to anyone else. read more

Disappointed in my visit today. First time at this location. Asked if my friend's number could be looked up even if mostly purchased at the League City location to which the young lady said yes. Turns out the answer is no or she did not know how to correctly find the information. Another gentleman asked for a particular brand of dog food. He was given directions to locate it in the store. Poor old guy really need to be shown. He looked for the briefest moment and walked out. Lost sale. Was told the register was out of paper. A receipt is how I get refunded for my purchase. What store runs out of register paper? It's used everyday. Why is this okay with the manager? Office Depot doesn't carry it to tide you over until you figure out how to stock the store? Another lost sale and a waste of 30 mins at this location plus time now necessary to spend driving to the League City store. read more

Love Holly the groomer. She has done my Toy Poodle three times now and has done a great job every time. She is so great with him and an absolute joy to be around. Everyone in the store is amazing and they will do anything to help. We've tried many places in the area and nobody does as great a job as Holly. Even though the store was nice, organized, and clean - My son and I were walking down the aisle and we couldn't help but hear a terrified little white dog over at the groomers crying loudly and in fear, which I understand cause it was getting groomed BUT what we were disturbed about was how the groomer was yelling and jerking the poor dog by the leash that holds them up, she didn't see us cause we were on the next aisle over but as soon as she saw us take the turn she pretended to then comfort the dog, I told my son I felt so bad for the little pup and I'd never bring my dog there to get groomed... This place is underrated. The staff is friendly and you can get anything you need for your pet here at a competitive/good price. I like using the self-bath because they provide everything you need for $5 each time when you purchase 5 baths.
