Just had a class with Rei this morning. She's fantastic!…read more I am not someone who loves to work out, yet ever since I started going to Rei Pilates a few months ago, I find myself coordinating my calendar around how many times I can get there in a week. Something about the tone and vibe of the place (and Rei herself) is energizing. The workout is awesome. I've take pilates at numerous other studios and Rei's classes are the best. Her techniques and moves are fun, efficient, and effective. She switches it up and has you do just enough reps where you feel it working without pushing it to be painful and unpleasant. I've seen more results going to her classes for 6 months than I have in years of going to other studios. And she plays great music which makes the time fly by! The studio itself is clean, modern and bright. She has the new reformers which are sleeker and easier to use than the chunky older ones at other places. (She also stocks the cutest athletic clothes, which are fun to browse after a good workout.) Highly recommend!

I was new to Pilates so she was really great the first class since it was only four of us she was able to pay a little more attention to my form etc which was very nice of her . I was impressed with how sore I was the following day , I work out 5-6 times a week with a trainer but this class really focuses on all those hard to reach areas like inner thighs , core . The studio is beautiful and very clean , the staff is warm and welcoming . I travel all the way from the north shore of Long Island to join these classes , that's how much I enjoy them ! I tried all sorts of things but have found for me Pilates is just what I needed. The classes are a great combination of reformer (machine) and mat work. The studio is beautiful and clean and the instructors are simply fantastic. For most of my adult life I have suffered with positional vertigo. In the last 5 years, with the onset of peri-menopause, it seemed to have gotten worse for me. I realized just recently, after taking classes at the studio, on the average 2 times per week for the past 2 months, my vertigo has simply vanished. I'm so happy I found this little gem in Rye!

This studio is clean, warm, and inviting. The instructors are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Pilates is not cheap but I feel great spending my money here. Pilates of Rye is hands-down, the most customer-friendly business I have come across in years.

Love this place…read more Pilates is a tricky sport as it actually becomes harder as you progress. Those new to fitness will feel the burn after your first class but for more athletic people, it takes a while to find proper alignment and really engage those muscles. You know you found it when your thighs start crying. Everyone who works there has been super nice and all have a good sense of humor. They are very helpful, good at observing detail and nobody's mean if you can't do the pose 100%. The clientele have a sense of camaraderie, rather than competition. Great studio.
