This used to be my "go to" place for a good pizza. Sorry to say, not anymore. Once it changed ownership, quality went out the door. It's a crap shoot on whether your pizza will be even fully baked. Raw dough, practically unmelted cheese. Even when I put it in my oven, the cheese never gets that little bit of browning. I swear they are using imitation cheese. I gave them one last shot. This is probably the best delivery I have had while in New Bern. I am surprised there are not more reviews on this place. The pizza was really good! It was neither a think nor thin crust and the cheese was great, not greasy. The pricing was really reasonable and the delivery was only $2.00. The sauce was delicious! I will be spending about 6 weeks this summer in New Bern at my parents' recovering from leg surgery. To keep myself amused, I've decided that my mission is to find the best pizza possibilities of New Bern. An appetizer + pizza to be ordered from a local establishment every Friday evening. Gina's is first on the list. Positive reviews on Yelp! Found their website with a menu & coupons! They deliver! I ordered a dozen hot wings and a large pizza with 3 toppings (using a coupon for $10 Any Large Pizza) There was a delivery charge of a few bucks so the total was just over $20. Quite the deal! Verdict as follows. The driver arrived in the 30-40 minutes as promised. The wings were meaty, spicy and at a good temperature for serving. 2 bleu cheese packets provided. Pizza didn't quite seem like a "large" but, the crust and sauce were quite tasty. Definitely channelling the NYC-style! My only mention is that the toppings were kinda sparse and the slices were cut unevenly and not all the way through (Disproportionate pizza slices have caused many a fight in my family growing up, so this is near and dear to my heart when rating a pie !) My review for Gina's is very favorable. For the price, the wings and pizza are getting the job done! But maybe your "large" should be called a "medium?" read more

Honestly my favorite pizza place in the James City area. The prices are reasonable and the pizza is very tasty. I don't care as much about the ambiance of a take-out place- AGAIN, it's take OUT. The past two times we have ordered from here, we have had terrible service. We are told that the pizza will be delivered in 45 minutes but an hour and a half goes by and still no delivery. We then call to check the status and both times are told "sorry the driver is having issues. We are going to remake your pizza and send it out".... so we then wait another 30 minutes and when the driver arrives he is rude. No apology for being late, no discount taken off the pizza, nothing. By the time it arrived we aren't even hungry anymore. Needless to say we will not be ordering from Gina's again. read more

Great pizza! I always enjoy a good pizza, and get tired of the chain restaurants. And they deliver to my house! Doesn't get better than that.... I ordered an x-large pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon for our family. It was delivered in less than 30 minutes. It was excellent. It fed me, my husband, and my two daughters, and we had half a pie left over. The only downside, the pizzas are expensive. But no more than ordering 2 large pizzas from Pizza Hut. Pizza was outstanding. Really fair price for the size of the pizza you get. Not a real big menu but what they do have is delicious. Staff is really friendly. Home of the New Bern's famous $5 pizza. Yep, you read that right, a five dollar pizza that tastes good. One topping large. At $5 it's in my budget every day of the week. And they make it with the extra, extra sauce I like that no other joint in town can seem to consistently get right. It's my favorite pizza in town, but my hubby likes 37th street better. I attended night classes in 2009 and had many Chef Salads from Gina's esp when it was the special free |r gu I UK night. They were spectacular. I haven't ordered one since graduation until last night. Ginas must have listed to too many Panero Bread commercials about their "clean" salads. As opposed to ..dirty? Nails on a chalkboard. The salad greens were totally Romaine, flat, not old but not like a crispy mix with iceberg. The onions and green pepper looked to have to have been choppedChopped and frozen used to be a nice sliced ring,many times red.
