Yes, if you are in The New Bern area and have a craving for Pizza - This is the SPOT! 1st they told me it would be about 40 min & they showed up w/in 25-30min!!! The Mozz Stix are amazing (see pics). You can order a 3 or 6 piece & comes w/ pizza sauce for dipping. Also ordered a slice of cheese just to check out their sauce & style - great thin crust w/ flavorful sauce & extremely large slices for $2.95. Finally had to check out the Stromboli. Ordered the Steak & Cheese and it did not disappoint. Overall this spot is a local hidden gem w/ homemade flavorful items at a great price range. I moved to New Bern from New Jersey four years ago, and I'm so grateful to have found this little piece of home away from home. The pizza is exceptionally good, the garlic knots are delicious, and the mozzarella sticks are honestly some of the best fried cheese I've ever had. Don't sleep on their subs or salads either! I've had the Italian sub and the steak and cheese salad with oil and vinegar as the dressing--both are absolutely spot-on every time. There are a few tables available for dine-in, and if you live in River Bend (the neighborhood it's located in), they offer delivery right to your door. Terrible food. I ordered the Veggie pizza and it tasted like cardboard. The cheese I'm pretty sure just tasted like the bread even though the pizza was fresh out of the oven. Terribly expensive, for extremely low quality. Cashier basically started off insinuating to-go when we wanted to dine in. Lack of clarity in their menus pricing, plus $2 per topping is RIDICULOUS. They also make you tip up front, which is another real shame. Overall very empty environment around lunchtime with not many customers, probably due to very poor tasting food. read more

Headed to DMV and decided to find a new place to try out. I've heard a lot about this place but never went. Today I changed that and this is what it was like. It's hidden in the corner. You look at it and you don't expect much. As you enter the door, greeted straight away by more than one person. The place is pretty open inside and whoever is doing the cleaning, they are doing it right. The whole place was clean all the way to the restrooms. You figure out what you want from a decent variety. The menu is pictured on here. Then order at the counter and they bring it to you. The staff was awesome here. Friendly and helpful. Of course I tried the mozzarella sticks which they made themselves. I have no words for what it is they do. The crust is so crisp and different. The cheese pulls so nicely. They can be a meal all in themselves. They are a must try. We also had a 20" pepperoni. Wow is what I'll say. The crust is crisp. The grease isn't to much and all over. Plenty of pepperoni and the cheese was real. The sauce isn't to sweet or spicy, it's kinda what I've been looking for. I wanted more of it but I'd have exploded. Lol. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo and enjoyed it much. She said the noodles tasted homemade and the chicken was fresh. She also questioned if the sauce was made from scratch. The garlic knots were large and full of flavor. I don't know if they are made from scratch but they did not taste frozen. Perfect amount of garlic flavor. Needless to say, if you've read all this then you know that this place was worth stopping at. I'll be back for sure because I can't resist those mozzarella sticks. We decided to try this place out due to the reviews. Our family absolutely loves pizza and we're not that easy to impress. We have loved absolutely everything we've tried here. Delivery takes about 25 minutes and they're always so nice. Pizza is amazing!!!! We had a large pepperoni. The slices are big they don't skimp on ingredients, whatsoever. Subs are so good. Started off with the garlic knots & handbreaded mozz sticks - huge portions for a great price, sauce is good, everything piping hot. For entrees we ordered a 14" pizza, a calzone, and the baked ziti. Do it, just do it. Order delivery or takeout from these guys. We made the mistake of thinking there was no good pizza in the south. Coming from New York City our pizza expectations are unreasonable. But this place is as close as you can get to a New York slice. We had the bbq chicken pizza with pineapple, a white pizza and pepperoni. All amazing. The pizzas are big, and I mean big. Found this gem on Yelp during an East Coast road trip. After all the seafood in the South, I needed pizza! It was not fancy and I was a bit concerned when I walked in but this place had some of the best pizza I have ever had in my life - even WITH the canned mushrooms (vs fresh). The crust. The crust is this magical sphere of crispness that spoke to my pizza-loving soul. We ordered the sausage & mushroom. Couldn't recommend it more. I wouldn't normally give five stars on a first visit. This pizzeria delivers but not the 6 miles away where I was in a hotel. Based on the five star rating that others have given it I decided to order a pie and pick it up. I arrive at the restaurant before the pie was ready and paid for it in advance. The young lady on the register was very courteous and friendly. I asked for paper plates napkins and crushed red pepper and she took care of all of it. She brought my pie out early. She offered to help me take it to the car and open the door for me. I got back to the hotel and ate the best pizza I've had in years. I asked for double pepperoni that's it. What I got I swear was quadruple pepperoni! The crust was not too thick and not too thin and was very crispy on the bottom. It was amazing!! I just love the food here!! All FRESH ingredients! The chicken tenders are real cut up chicken breast battered and fried. And they make their own ranch dressing! The pizza is the owners own homemade pizza crust recipe and it's delicious!! The meats are good quality meats. The staff is extremely friendly and polite.
