I asked and the lady at the counter said I had to take it up with the manager. She said for a while he has been saying he needs to change it but hasn't. My children and I visited on a Tuesday evening around 5:30pm. The restaurant was not busy, a couple ahead of us and a group of four behind us. Our order was taken promptly, and everything went downhill from there. The drink machine was out of ice. It was also running low on carbonated water, so soft drinks tasted off. When our food arrived there were issues with each order. There was a mixup with my 8 count wings and my son's 6 count...he had 9 in the flavors he ordered, I had seven in the flavors I ordered, bonus on getting the extra but mixing up the numbers on both orders speaks to lack of quality control. My daughter ordered a garlic parm chicken sandwich. It looked like a burger. The chicken was so over cooked it was inedible. I took it back to the delivery window and asked if we could get one that wasn't overcooked. I was told in no uncertain terms "That's just how they all look." Although this was not the case on a previous visit, perhaps they've been overcooking their sandwich chicken so long that this employee has never seen one done correctly. Each of our baskets of fries had "lumps" of fries that were completely uncooked. Not all the fries were underdone, so there was some rush at some point in the kitchen. Finally, as we were eating, we looked around for napkins and the only option was in the plastic ware packets. There was a stand for paper towels which was empty and was never refilled during our visit. Put in an order 2 hours ahead of time to make sure it's actually ready when I get there come to find out they haven't even started my order when I got there for pick up. If an order is placed way ahead of time maybe it should be ready when time slot comes just saying. read more

Came here on a Friday evening the lady who took my order was kind. My food took about ten minutes, but I could definitely tell it was cook to order.The restaurant was fairly clean. All said and done I enjoyed my dining experience, and have 0 complaints. read more

Absolutely the worst food and service I've had at any establishment in New Bern. Wish I could give them a zero. Ordered at 1:16 waited 40 minutes. . . Wings were incredibly greasy, there was a quarter inch of grease in the bottom of the lemon pepper wings. The Mango Habanero were nasty didn't taste like either smelled like Skoal and tasted about the same. The manager was concerned about whatever she was doing on her laptop instead of conducting the orchestra. The young crew has absolutely no pride in their work . . . . The store was basically empty. Only 2 customers ahead of our order. One had already had their food. We sat down and watched for over 25 minutes take out and call ahead orders walk out. When we asked what the hold up was they explained they were waiting on fries. Seriously? Fries for 25 minutes? The other dine in customers ahead of us we're still waiting as well. All the while with other orders going out with fries as we can see from the table we were at. Finally when we got our food yes the fries were hot but the wings and chicken sandwich were cold. The flavor wasn't great. If you like sub par flavor and long wait times feel free to stop in. This was our first and last time visiting a Wingstop. I'm only giving a two star since they're still new, but the wings when they are covered with the aluminum they get steamed and they become too soggy They no longer have the crisp on them. The other issue is that day I went. They were so busy because they're new. I think they're taking orders more than they can handle causing people to wait longer than they should have to, take a time to turn off the online orders catch up, then reprogram it to come on instead of making people wait longer read more

I wish I could give a zero. The food is never ready on time and takes about 4 times longer than it should. The app tells you it's 16-21 minutes no matter what (time of day, how busy they are, etc) and the food is never ready in that time. It's really small inside, crowded, and cramped. The staff are less than helpful. read more
