Hit Ginger Juice for a quick smoothie this weekend and YUM! They had a large assortment of juices, smoothies, assorted food and snacks and other items. I had the Dragonfruit smoothie and added Vegan Protein Powder, and it was exactly what I expected it to be. They also let me replace the coconut milk with coconut water which made it even better. This was my first time trying ginger juice, I went around 2:30/3PM on a Friday and it wasn't very busy. It was very chill and quiet ambiance. I ordered the gleaming bowl which has açaí, strawberries, bananas, almond milk and was topped with this delicious almond butter drizzle. It was so good! Overall a little disappointed in my visit to Ginger Juice - I ordered the toast and smoothie combo with a Greens Galore Smoothie and Spicy Avocado Toast. The smoothie was okay, it was pretty bland overall and the texture was more like a juice than a smoothie. The avocado toast was really sad looking (pictured) it was a very tiny piece of toast overloaded with toppings. The flavor of the spread was good but in my opinion, overpriced for what you get. Pros - The vibes inside this place is really cute! And there is a parking lot so no need to worry about parallel parking. I may give this place another try in the future and try something different but will stick with The Pit and the Peel as my go-to for now. read more

I've ordered juice here several times. They're great. Not a single thing wrong with them. Today I decided I wanted to try their food so I looked at the menu online and wanted the Kale salad. I got super excited about avocado lime dressing. As a native Californian I can be really dumb over an avocado or anything remotely Mexican. So yeah the dressing was the thing that stood out to me on the description of the salad. My husband went in a grabbed me one while I waited in the car, and when he came back I happily popped that to-go lid off to get to my salad. I was so surprised that the dressing was more Asian sesame and heavy on the Bragg Aminos. Like, salty salty Bragg amino acids. I mean, I like the dressing- but it wasn't what was advertised. And there was quite a bit of it. Also, no almonds to be found. Would've liked that added protein for lunch but there was none. They are very clever on how they build this salad so things don't wilt or get soggy. Like a mason jar salad, the kale is dressed on the bottom and everything on top has only been sprinkled with seeds. Tomatoes were under ripe AF. So sour I couldn't eat them. Sometimes I wished cooks would actually taste something before it goes onto the dish. I would've let the tomatoes chill on the counter for two more days before throwing them in there but hey, who am I? Next time I'll just stick with my Pitaya Punch. read more

I love ginger juice. I order from them every time I'm in town. They have excellent smoothies, soup, beverages, and toasts. I like that they use pure ingredients and then I don't have to worry about hidden sugars because they list out everything that's in the items. And most importantly, they're very tasty. I've never been to the store in person since I always get it delivered but they've always done a fantastic job with labeling and securely packaging everything. The turmeric latte wasn't bad. The Matcha latte is one of my favorites. The cocoa Chatta is a very nice, rich treat. I've had the green goddess soup before and it's also one of my favorites. The tomato soup I don't care for because it has tomato skin in it that I have to pull out of my mouth sometimes. Today I got the yellow ginger soup and it was also excellent . I consistently get a smoothie and toast combo with a spicy avocado, which has guacamole and cashew hummus with spicy on top and it's absolutely my favorite. For anyone who is looking for a quick and healthy option, Ginger Juice is the place! There are tons of spots for parking to make it easier for you to run in and grab your meal! They have outdoor seating or room to wait inside and when the food is ready, they bring it out to you. They also have an app that allows you to order and pick up your food inside a refrigerator without having to wait. I used to work for them so I can attest to the fact that their ingredients are natural and organic. My favorite bowls on their menu are the Gleaming and Peanut Butter Punch (which are also their most popular). I always recommend the Peanut Butter Punch because it has protein and healthy ingredients that bring together a very delicious bowl. I got the Rainbow Mango bowl because I wanted to try something different, but the base was not my favorite. I think the turmeric caused it to have a weird taste that I was not expecting. Though there are no modifications able to be made for the base of the bowls, you can add or take away toppings that you do or don't want. I also highly recommend their avocado toast. They changed up the recipe by adding chickpeas in the avocado mash, which I was a little nervous about, but absolutely love. It is super filling and so good! If you're in a rush and don't think you have time to wait for a smoothie or bowl, grab a juice or one of their energy bites/bars. The Glee is my favorite juice - if you have a sweet tooth but looking for a healthier option, this is it! The staff is very friendly here and they are taking proper precautions in terms of the virus. There is outdoor seating and they bring your food to you. I enjoyed my peanut butter punch bowl but was not a fan of the rainbow mango bowl. It had the weirdest flavor. Generally, I love anything fruit related but I couldn't stomach this bowl. The peanut butter punch bowl is the most "normal" fruit bowl Ginger Juice has. It is similar to the average açaí bowl. I would like to see more bowls similar to this on the menu. read more

Have been here 3-4 times. I always get the chocolate protein shake. It's delicious, however my last visit was not so good. The smoothie needed more ice. It was room temperature which kinda ruined it for me. I had to stop at a sonic a grab some ice and add to it. Their website could use improvement. The menu is a bit confusing and they have no nutritional facts listed on their site. If you are tracking you food this makes it impossible to track your macros accurately. I called the store to ask about the amount of protein in the smoothies, as I have a daily goal I have to hit and they didn't know how many grams of protein goes into their protein shakes... weird. I am writing this just based on the smoothies; I have not tried their juice or food options. I make my own using a Vitamix, which does excellent work in making the smoothie smooth. The smoothies from Ginger Juice are gritty, poorly blended, and clumpy. Some additional ice, just a few more cubes, would improve this, and allow for a longer blend in their machines. First I would like to say thank you to the staff that worked 5/22 morning. I had the wrong date on my online order and they were able to accommodate me with no trouble yesterday. Thank you ladies. So I downloaded their app and ordered the beginners cleanse. The thing I liked was the online app offered a discount for my first online order. It was a very easy user friendly app. I bought a 1 day beginners cleanse to test my discipline for 1 day and to see how the juices and soups were. The one day cleanse includes 4 juices and 2 soups. I actually really enjoyed everything but the green goddess drink. My tastebuds weren't ready for so much green juice lol. They provide a card with some simple instructions which includes the suggested times you should drink/eat the cleanse. I actually struggled to keep up with times because I wasn't hungry like I thought I would be. The soup is a big portion and the dinner soup I couldn't finish because I was so full. I definitely would try this cleanse again and even do 2/3 days instead of one. I also plan to stop by soon to try the avocado toast. I recommend Ginger Juice for sure! read more

Yet, I will say the base is better than North Ends (given that apple juice isnt the mixer and thus not an overwhelming factor). As we sat to eat our bowls which would have taken all but 5 minutes to eat, we were curtly told we couldn't eat there because they were closing. It was 5:57pm and they had no problem taking our order and did not tell us that "to go" was the only option. I wouldn't have left a review if she had been polite about it. Not sure how I feel about this place quite yet.. I've only been once, and found the menu very confusing and unaccommodating - they don't allow you to make any replacements/substitutions because everything is pre-portioned (Which seems unnecessary for making a smoothie, and also makes me question how fresh the ingredients are) and all of the smoothies/juices have one or two pretty obscure ingredients that make it kind of hard to find one that's absolutely exactly what you want without making any changes. It's also very unclear what the difference between all the menu sections are so it took me a good 15 minutes to just even figure out what I was getting.. On top of that, it's kind of pricey. Which is to be expected when you go to a smoothie shop but still... It's not crazy over the top though. Other than that, we were impressed. The cashier was friendly, the food (we got a juice, a smoothie, and some 'power balls') was very good. My smoothie came out reasonably quickly. Cute little shop with cold-pressed juice, smoothies and acai bowls. I chose the gleaming bowl - which is def more like a smoothie than your usual acai bowl. It was good - but had a ton of ice and gave me a brain freeze! The bowl has blended acai, blueberries, banana and strawberries topped with banana, strawberry, granola, coconut and a dollop of almond butter. A small shop - but has a cute seating area to dine in (for about 4-5 people with small round tables) and had a bunch of people come in while I ate my bowl to order to go, or called in orders and came to pick up. (wow) So I drove quite a ways to try it out, and they had three melted smoothies left. That's fine, whatever, so I asked to try the avocado toast and was told there weren't any available, but they were "available for purchase." Thank you to a Ginger Juice cleanse for helping me kick my sugar cravings! I did the three day cleanse which consisted of four juices and two soups each day. Everything tasted good and easy to drink. I never felt hungry the whole three days. Sunday was Easter and I didn't even want candy or sweets. Truly awesome! My only rant about Ginger Juice was that I preordered my cleanse a couple days before I picked it up and told them what time I was going to be there. The store even confirmed my order the day before. When I arrived at the store, they didn't have a record of my order for whatever reason and the soup wasn't ready. I ended up having to go back the next morning to pick up the soup. read more

In the past, I have HATED all green juices but Ginger Juice makes them taste AMAZING!!! So amazing that I decided to do a 1 day juice cleanse the following week. You must pre-order your cleanse but you can pick it up late in the day the previous day. They had all of my juices numbered and in a perfect adorable insulated tote. I really enjoyed drinking all of the juices that day and never felt hungry. My only complaint would be the seating area. It's not the most comfortable however this is a juice bar so it is supposed to be a quick drop by place so I do understand but just wouldn't necesarily hang out there. Their juices are also in such high demand that they seem to run out of them and don't always have everything available because they make everything fresh.
