    Shiitake mushroom pizza
    Nicole N.

Been in and out of the Omni hotel/plaza several times and finally got to try this place. Loved their shiitake mushroom pizza! Their white sauce was delicious and well seasoned with strong fragrant garlic flavors and a kick of spiciness from the pepper flakes. Couple that with extra gooey cheese and pieces of mushroom? It was so yummy and the cheese pull was unreal!! I just wish that there were more shiitake pieces. Staff were indeed friendly and upbeat! They even decorated the pizza box for me! Prices seemed to be very reasonable. Lots of seating options inside the store and outside by the lobby area.

All milk, couldn't taste any matcha. (supposed to be ice matcha).

I've been here 2 or 3 times already and service/ food is subpar. I normally order the bees knees or house bowl. They were out of the house base, so had to go with the other fruit bowl base but asked for house toppings. They were also out of honey. When I got my bowl it also was missing the peanut butter. I also ordered the matcha drink iced. They forgot to make it because I had to go up and ask and I was already half way through eating my bowl. My matcha was gross. It was just straight up all milk, no flavor at all. The only thing going for this place is the roof top upstairs which is nice.

Overpriced. But we expected this as it's located inside the Omni Hotel Plaza. There were not many other options open that day. We ordered a quesadilla, pizza, acai bowl, shake and coffee. The bowl was tasty but sadly small for the price. Our side of chips were stale. The extra salsa for the quesadilla was an additional charge. Considering nothing else was open in the area, this was a decent option, but it could've been better. If you're really hungry, I'd try to find something else.

I've been to this location a handful of times since it opened earlier in the year. My current conclusion is: Yay to breakfast; Pass on lunch. This outpost of the local chain is situated in the James Center lobby to the left of Arby's. It specializes in healthy smoothies, juices, and fresh foods. This area downtown is flush with restaurants but this one stands out for the health component. Other than maybe the pastries, it'd be hard to splurge on a nutrient-deficient meal. So far my preferred menu item is arguably fairly boring: a blueberry bagel, not toasted, with plain cream cheese on the side. I'm also a fan of the blueberry muffin. I think breakfast is the best time to stop in because the staff is friendly and helpful, and it's not crazy busy at that time. Their lunch rush is a little insane (actually way more than a little). I'm pretty sure half of downtown goes to visit. Last time I stopped in for a chicken and cheese quesadilla and had a ridiculous wait. I used up all of my lunch break just waiting for the food. Even watched all the finance bros in the tucked in blue button downs and tight khakis get their food first. When I stopped up to inquire, my quesadilla was just sitting on the counter. I asked about the smoothie and was handed one that didn't taste like any of the ingredients I expected. And I got a half-baked apology after asking why they didn't simply ring my little buzzer. So, essentially, I wouldn't return if I'm in any sort of rush, ie, during working hours, but I would go back for breakfast. If only they stayed open past 3 p.m., I'm sure I'd stop in on my walk home too.

A little pricey, but the house açaí bowl is delicious! I go here often, and it rarely disappoints.

I am tired of the constant racism and racial profiling. Today I asked to speak with a manager. Mike came out and doubted everything I told him. No apology. No understanding. In fact, he constantly interrupted me. When I told him he was interrupting he said, "I just let you speak." A very nasty way to be with a customer. He actually said "why should I believe you over them," and "this is not going to go how you want it to go." What I wanted and what I should have gotten as a customer was an apology and at least a commitment from the store to take my concerns seriously and do better. He assumed I misunderstood and that the responsibility to prove racism occurred fell on my shoulders. He was defensive, rude, and frankly perpetuated the racism I tried to make him see. His only solution was for him to watch the videos to see if they indeed followed me so he could consider "both sides." Everything was about justifying their movements instead of acknowledging what I said. I went to management as a courtesy, but he just ended up making it worse. Goes to show, you can put a mural of a Black woman on the side of your business, you can even hire Black workers, but if you don't do the work of educating your management on customer service and racial profiling, you will lose customers and support.

Location: *new location on Main Street has great parking!! The new spot is spacious & inviting, and it's stiffer versatile! I feel good supporting because you're getting really good quality stuff! The owner, Ryan, is really intentional about the product he provides, having started this business while supporting his amazing Mom through a cancer diagnosis. His staff is always attentive and great at answering any questions you have about the juice! I highly recommend the Firefighter & The Beet Drop because you need ginger and beets (respectively) in your life at least once a week. Short story time: once upon a time I hated beets. The flavor & smell, alone were enough to make me gag. I tried the Beet Drop. I now love beets. It's really good because Ryan found a way to put the best, natural ingredients together a minimize beet's tendency to overpower a dish. Once you try the juice, you'll be back for more.
