But occasionally i am "assisted" by an older woman who is NOT very nice at all. In the past she has given me so much attitude about grabbing the crickets and treats me like i'm inconveniencing her entire day, even when i ask extremely politely. I just visited this location and had to leave. My boyfriend and i stopped in to grab our weekly batch of crickets and patiently waited around for a while with other customers as well. He ended up going to the front to ask her for some assistance and was told "we do NOT do that any longer you can get there bagged ones" there were two sad bags of 10 small crickets left half dead. We are now on the way to Auburn to get crickets. Do better lady.

I have been going to Pack of Paws for about 2 months and have taken Puppy Kindergarten, attended Puppy play sessions, and am starting Blue Ribbon Obedience this week. I look forward to each class I attend because I learn something new every time and it is so fun! I've only worked with Matt and Morganne so I can only really reflect on these 2 trainers. A quick note, their facility is pretty large. The extra space to move around is great to ensure you're not bothering others and can move your dog around if needed. I took Puppy Kindergarten with Matt and have been going to puppy play sessions with Morganne. I am impressed with both Matt and Morganne. My experience with both trainers is professional, highly informative, and FUN! Both trainers are passionate and appreciate the nuances of training. I'm grateful to benefit from their knowledge and have received a wealth of valuable information from each trainer. When working with Matt / Morganne - The training strategy they use is heavily based on science / evidence-based training, and they believe that training with your dog should be fun! I want to strengthen the bond between my dog and I through training, and I know that I am in the right place to do exactly that with Pack of Paws.

I will happily comply with whatever store rules someone has, but without signage, I have no way of knowing what those rules are if they're not typical rules. In this case, there was no signage of any kind. I know this because I specifically looked for it. Carefully. That said, read on. I was looking at the chicks in the middle of the store and no one was around to help me. So I went in the enclosure, that has no locks or signage (other than cute signs) and picked up a chick. Apparently not allowed. Oops. The store manager saw me, came over and went *berserk.* She loudly yelled at me in front of everyone in the middle of the store. She wouldn't back down. Instead, she doubled down and was loudly yelling at me, scolding me, and using very rude language. Humiliating! I explained that I didn't know it wasn't allowed and apologized for my error, and had there been any indication that it wasn't ok, I wouldn't have. I told her she was really out of line and unprofessional and that she shouldn't treat customers this way and that they need signage to indicate that something isn't ok. Or a lock! It made no difference. She continued to yell at me, and even defended her terrible behavior!! I insisted she apologize for her mistreatment, and she sarcastically gave me a yelling/flimsy apology, stating something like I'm sorry you're offended. Which anyone with half a brain cell knows is not an apology. Then she stalked off in a huff. As I left the store, she was angrily instructing one of the associates to put up signage. To make matters worse, I called corporate offices, waited on hold for a half hour, and when I finally got to speak to someone, I was promised that a district manager would call me. No one ever did. If you enjoy being abused, please visit this store and see the young female manager, about in her 20's, maybe 30's light brown hair. Will literally never be back or shop or any of their stores again. This company doesn't care about its customers, apparently. A problem is an opportunity to shine and earn a lifetime customer.

They told me I cannot come in any other day expect on a Tuesday for X-rays and bloodwork. Well I'm sorry my dog was dying on a Wednesday. They finally said I can come in next week rather than waiting 2-3 weeks. I took my sweet dog to the animal hospital and come to find out he has kidney failure with only a couple days to live. After I leave the hospital I call post road, in actual tears, talking to the receptionist for a second opinion and guess what? They put me on hold to ask the doctors questions and STILL WOULDNT talk to me as my dog as staring at me DYING. No call back asking how he is, NOTHING. This review isn't made up in slightest bit, and I am not some miserable person trying to shame a business nor do I ever even leave reviews. I just want everyone to realize that these people do not care about your animal and I can promise you that. I promise. Please be careful going to this place. My poor dog is not suffering anymore. But post road would have let my dog suffer and suffer until he died looking at me. If I can help one person by not going here I would be so happy.
