First time fishing with the entire family on a fishing charter, but I immediately knew we found the…read morebest charter out there. (The crew made all the difference) The boat is beautiful, clean, fully accommodating with stocked bathrooms (had sinks and soap!). The crew provided everything we needed, plus educated us and helped us every step of the way. We caught a ton of fish, which they offered to either descale or filet for us (and they did a wonderful, quick job of that). The highlight was the crew. Ilya and Matt were super accommodating from educating us and giving us tips on how to catch and reel the fish in, to placing bait on our hooks and unhooking each fish that my family of five caught (all while helping others as well). The captain even danced with my daughter (5 yrs old with special needs) when she came inside the cabin and was starting to get tired of being out by the side fishing. These men were such hard-working, honest gentlemen- it sealed the deal for us to plan our next trip with Osprey and every fishing charter in the future will be with them! (I'll add that our boat was not packed in without room to move like other charters, and we had many other people on our charter that were long-time fisherman that have chosen Osprey for years. That says a lot). If you're looking for a fishing charter in this area and you're either first-timers or have fishing experience- look no further. You won't be disappointed. *I'm not one to put personal photos of my family, but the crew even helped take photos of my kids' first catches and sent them to me privately. Having a young child with special needs limits our family adventures so everything they did that went above and beyond really was appreciated.

This was a highlight of our bougie Bachelorette party in Montauk! We rented our own private…read morecatamaran for six people for three hours. It was about $700+ after fees, tip, etc, and it was totally worth it. Our captain, Mason, was super cool. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and we felt comfortable being really annoying and weird in front of him. The sail itself was just a short ride in the bay, where we anchored close to a beach. We loved dancing on the boat, trying out the SUP board (included), basically chugging our BYOB drinks (no hard liquor allowed on board), taking pics lounging in the net, gawking at the yachts, and pretending the pool noodles were seahorses that we were riding. Bachelorette stuff! I think we had the Mon Mini boat, probably the smallest option. Included: one SUP board, bluetooth speaker, cooler, two pool noodles, the captain.

They provided two Yeti coolers and a Bluetooth speaker for music which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped take pictures for our group and the sailing was very smooth. I would definitely book again, probably earlier in the summer for the 3 hour cruise to be able to do the paddleboarding.

Jefferson Ferry Experience…read more Wow--what an incredible experience! It was my very first time bringing my car onto the ferry, traveling from Port Jefferson (Long Island) to Bridgeport, Connecticut, and it couldn't have been easier. Booking was simple--I checked the website to see the schedules (ferries leave almost every hour) and ended up calling just two hours ahead to reserve my spot since it was my first time and I had a few questions. The staff was super friendly and helpful on the phone, and next time I'll definitely just book online. The cost was $74 one way, and you just need to arrive 30-15 minutes before departure if you're bringing a car. Boarding and unloading were seamless--everything is so well-organized. About 15 minutes before docking, they announce that it's time to return to your car, and within minutes you're driving off the ferry. The entire ride only took one hour, and it saved me from sitting in city traffic--I bypassed everything and saved so much time. I did the same thing on my return trip from Bridgeport back to Port Jefferson, and again, booking just an hour and a half ahead was no problem. Both times the experience was smooth, efficient, and honestly pretty amazing. If you've never done it before and want to escape Long Island for a bit (without battling traffic), I 100% recommend it. I only snapped a couple photos, but hopefully this helps someone who's considering it! Thank you to Walter and Dennis at the Jefferson Port ferry entrance for the kindness and hospitality.
