Ok, so the other reviews looked good., so me and the wife gave it a try: We're VERY happy we did. I used to use a professional preparer for a while, then filed (via online service) myself for a couple years, and decided it was time for a professional to help. Gino is what I feel most comfortable with for a professional: He seemed to know what required details for the filing, (even outside of the software he was using) what the minimum and maximum for areas around deductions for our semi complex situation, leaving us feeling comfortable and well taken care of (knowing that he's enrolled to represent his clients to the IRS in case of audits adds to the comfort level) I'm even bringing him my last two years filings, as I think I missed getting some $ back from the IRS ;) Would recommend anyone to talk to him about preparing taxes. There's a reason why Gino has 5 stars. He is a family friend, and I am also a customer of his, and he has done my taxes for 7 or 8 years. I will be lost if he ever retires because I am planning on being a long term customer. He does my personal taxes, and also our small business taxes. Through out the year he lets me email him for free tax advice, so I am ready when my taxes are due. My husband did his taxes somewhere else before we were married, and always owed money, but now because of Gino and how he prepares us throughout the year we get a good refund every year. If you have gone anywhere else he will look at the last three years to make sure you are not missing out on a deduction. But with his background in IS going back even further, he has always been on the leading edge of computerized tax preparation. Gino knows his way around tax laws and gets certified every year after taking the new tax law classes. He also has access to former IRS agents for more specific information gathering. His pricing is very competitive with the big guys (you know, the person dressed up like the Statue of Liberty, Gorilla, Block), but his service goes well beyond what they can provide.
