Mi Carreta is their sister restaurant and has similar prices, but at least the portions there seem to include slightly more meat. At Mexico Viejo, the menu showed that our entrées came with more sides than we actually received. We called about the missing sides, and the manager said they would refund $5 back to our card. At the time of writing this review, I still have not seen that refund. We have eaten at other Mexican restaurants in Danville and North Carolina where the food costs around 30% less and you receive noticeably more food, including better portions of meat and sides. For the price Mexico Viejo charges, the portion sizes, missing menu items, and unresolved refund were very disappointing. I would not recommend it based on our experience.
