HORRIBLE! The food wa horrible made wrong and the owner is a gigantic prick ! Worst experience ever ! When we asked for the proper food to be prepared he refused and then refused a refund on a meal that was NOT TOUCHED AT ALL. He then made a scene ! This is eggplant parm it's breaded and fried this is not acceptable at all. That stuff you see that's the grease. Disgusting

I had a gift card and a hungry family so we wanted to try Gio's out for dinner! Despite our visit being a week day, it was pretty packed! We waited our 25 minutes and then were seated. We called ahead to see if they had gluten free options available and she said yes but based on availability. When we arrived, we asked again and our waitress checked with the kitchen and yes they did! Quick side note, when was the last you saw a salad bar?!? We each got a small helping before our food came out. It felt new because of the pandemic , but we knew this was necessary. The staff was very friendly and was working really hard with being understaffed. Our god come out and it smelled and looked fantastic. The pizza was great, the GF crust was one of the better ones I've had. The sauces were very rich with flavor and complimented the pasta dishes well. The leftover were enjoyed by us in the following days. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to all be enjoying their food and having a good time. A fun and friendly atmosphere with great food will have us coming back for sure!!

Carrot cake is standout. Tip is automatically added to parties of 6 or more. On the " go back to" list.

We had 3 four top tables pushed together for our group. We dine out every Good Friday and the acoustics in this restaurant were great. We could hear conversation from one end of the table to the other. Several people had the Fish Fry special of fish and chips - some liked it, some didn't care as much for it. I didn't try it personally, but the plate had three decent size pieces of fish with a side of fries and coleslaw. Nice offering for Good Friday meal. Two of us had Chicken piccata and really appreciated that we could substitute out the side of pasta! One of us ordered a side of grilled veggies (highly recommend) and the other steamed broccoli. Highly recommend the grilled veggies! Good combination of different vegetables. The broccoli was good, but would have ordered without butter. There was a pool of butter they were swimming in. The piccata was good - 3 decent sized pieces of chicken breast. Note if you are not a red pepper fan, order the sauce without. I forgot to ask, but they were easy to pick out. The calamari was a good portion for an appetizer. We hoped they had cocktail sauce for it, but they only had marinara. The mesclun salad was very good and really good size for a half portion. We did not order dessert, but the cakes when you first walk in are quite impressive and imagine are delicious!

I got the Panzanella with chicken and it was divine. Very filling. The bottle prices were excellent. My husband loved his dish, which was the risotto special... I believe it had seafood in it. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes and the portions were enough. They had an excellent bar menu, though we just stuck with wine. Our server was very attentive and had lots of recommendations. I loved seeing a traditional carbonara on the menu as well... Often, a restaurant will just make this with a cream sauce and call it "carbonara", which is so wrong that it makes my Italian ancestors turn over in their graves. Though I did not get the carbonara this time, I will certainly try it next time. We also saw waiters preparing the table side, Cacio E Pepe, which looked really fun, but ultimately, I felt it was priced more for the experience than the actual food so I did not get that. We had reservations at 8:15 but arrived at 7:45 (planning on waiting at the bar for our friends to arrive ) and they were able to seat us right away. We also got a welcome bubbly drink upon arrival which was such an unexpected, fun, and friendly touch! The servers are very professional, but down to earth. I would absolutely love to come back and try the chef's table.

Modern Italian with lots of favorite classics on the menu! We had a hard time choosing! Chicken Milanese was two very large breast. Not pounded thin as expected but very flavorful! I decided to call them and they said i didn't pay for meatballs even if i ordered them. If they had told me meatballs were alacart, I would have added them. I even used their takeout only for years when covid shut down the sit down part. This service was disappointing enough to make me take my future business elsewhere. Thank you parasons, it was good while it lasted. Since making this post, the owner reached out and appologized for the way it was handled and that in itself mean something. This location has picturesque decor throughout: from the entryway to the dining area. (Check out the pictures of the decor)! There is statue in full armor before entering the dining area... so cool! Make sure to check out the plastic table display holders for limited time only specials and new items. The menu features: salads (house and antipasto), subs: meatball, sausage, and Italian, pasta: lasagna, penne, and spaghetti, pizzas, and you can't forget their cannoli! During this visit, I tried the half & half combo which has a half order of Parassons special meatball and half order of their sausage patties topped with pasta sausage and cheeses! I also added a side salad (iceberg lettuce, tomato's, cucumbers, and cheese with buttermilk ranch dressing ) I had the red onions removed from the side salad. You won't go home hungry! The service is always friendly and hospitable, willing to sing happy birthday (if you want them to). This place brings back lots of childhood memories!

I will say the amount of chicken on the salad is limited; likely around 3oz. The flavors are there but just not enough to justify a $17 salad. $15 would be my ideal area. Use 5-6oz of chicken, maybe $17. Otherwise, it's a really good spot to check out!
