The second time we went back, for the same scheduled spa shave, he received a quick electric shave. He never had that before and imagine his shock, surprise, and sting his face experienced when the man slapped aftershave on him. We explained to the woman in the front that was not the service we booked. My son wasn't comfortable enough to tell the man because he could understand the older gentleman and didn't want to be disrespectful. The point we tried to make with the woman is the service booked wasn't provided. She kept saying that we paid less anyway and would give our money back. We didn't want our money back or to argue but wanted them to be more considerate when providing a service. They should look at the service that the client booked. She was sharp and curt and it was pointless to continue. We received a review from the business that my mom had completed for me. Simple, nothing rude but not recommending the business because they don't carefully make sure a client gets the service they book. WELL don't send for feedback if you can't control your feelings when you don't like the feedback! NOPE!! We would not recommend this business to ANYONE and there are far too many of men's salons to enjoy without the attitude! Before I lived in Westchester County, I used to go to Astor Place Barbershop in Manhattan which wasn't horrible but nothing comes close to Jacks. My first 10 years I had Jack and the past 9 I've had Eli, his brother.
