Horrible customer service! Called and ordered a delivery order and was told it would be 45 min... 1 hour later we still had not received our food so we called to check the status only to be told "our card was declined." They were given our phone number when we ordered yet no one called us to let us know of the problem, which was obviously a mistake on their behalf too because we went on to eat elsewhere and paid with the same card! They told us we would now have to pay cash and wait another 45 min if we still wanted the pizza! I am so dumbfounded that they would not call us to let us know and just left us sitting there waiting. I'm sure their pizza is good but this is just ridiculous, and they never even apologized! Never again! read more

The pizza is really good. Everything is fresh in the cheese is delicious. My friend said the salads are delicious too so next time I'm going to try a salad and some of the other things on their menu. They were fast and very courteous. read more

Pretty good pizza especially for the price got 18 inch with sausage peppers hickey bacon and tomatoes and feta with hot wings and a 2 liter the guy is great he talked to me took like 6 bucks off my bill on top of their special :) It's the kind of pizza better with more toppings with a thick liar of cheese on top the wings were nothing special..this place is a small store don't plan on eating in a romantic resturant but plan for good food at a good price and if u get the manager (mayb owner) u will have great service read more

I am sad to only be passing through Amarillo as I am in love with this pizza! I always order cheese pizza with garlic but this was not an option. However, they have a Garlic-Parmesan sauce that I had them mix with the pizza sauce and it was PHENOMENAL! Looking forward to traveling this way again! Great deal on 18 Inch pizzas. They are big enough to feed 4 to 6 adults each. Had a custom made veggie Calzone and it was great. Delivery was fast and on time. Pizza tasted very good. Had one pepperoni and 1 with Ham & Black Olives. Very good. read more

We live out south of town and few places deliver to us.. We called la Bellas in canyon and got an automated system that disconnected me over and over. Called la Bellas here (and I'm not hating on them) but their credit card machine was down, therefore not being able to help me.. Finally I called Giovanis for the first time ever, polite, helpful and delivered well before the timeframe I was given. The food was absolutely delicious and I feel deprived having never eaten there before!! You will not be disappointed with them, that's all I have to say. :) read more

They have delicious crust, a great selection of toppings, and really good specialty pizzas. Their wings, cheese bread, sandwiches and calzones are really good too. I'll be honest, my family has eaten pizza from here many times. We drive across town to get it because it's better than places nearby. But our previous order we had a pepperoni pizza and there was four pepperoni on the entire pizza. I let it slide because they have a history of good pizza. So, I went back today and there were three pepperoni on the entire large pizza. I called them and was told that it was under the cheese, but I'd already checked that. There were three pepperoni. The manager said he made it so he knows that's not true. I didn't even ask for a refund, I just thought they might credit me for a future pizza. The manager insisted I was wrong. I said that I must be blind and my wife must be stupid since he is incapable of making an error. He said yep, that must be it and hung up on me. We were regulars but I'll absolutely not return with such rude people not only working there but in managerial positions. read more

Its an okay pizza at a good price. Its cheap and fast and it is what you would expect for that kind of money. I order here a few times because it is close and I've never been disappointed. Is it great and special? No, it tastes just like La Bellas or Epic Pizza when they were around. Good food for a group event but i would not recommend the sandwiches. I had a philly and the meat was cooked but had no seasoning and the peppers and onions were raw. It wasn't bad or disgusting, it just wasn't how you make a Philly. read more

So, I've been living in Amarillo for about a year now, and I gotta say that this is hands down one of the best Pizza places I've been to in town (and I've been to quite a few). Their chicken alfredo pizza is the bomb and I can honestly say I pick one up AT LEAST 1-2 times a month. The only reason I'm not yet giving this establishment a 5-star review is because their prices are a tiny bit inconsistent. Some times a large deep dish is only $9-$10, and sometimes I've been charged $18. I'm not sure why this is, but considering how good the pizza is, I'm not even that mad about it (albeit, I'd prefer to only pay $10). Whether you live in Amarillo, or you're just passing through, I highly reccomend this shop. Their pizza has that homemade taste and the crust is awesome. read more

My family and I ordered three large pizzas with two of them topped with beef. The beef was burnt and disgusting. When I called, the manager on duty was rude to me, did not want to refund my money at first "we don't do refunds". After he refunded the total, he hung up. Did not even offer a response to ever make me want to come back to feed my family. So rude. Not worth the drive. Not quality food. If they can top my pizza that I paid for with burnt toppings, and then say there is nothing we can do, what else are they doing that I wouldn't appreciate as a consumer? read more

I have a lot of reasons why I will never go back to Giovanni's. The staff is rude the pizza is horrible and if you try to eat in the only have a 2oz cup that is even too small for my kids. I do not recomend to anyone who is looking for a good pizza and I will never be back. read more

Just had a very negative experience with Giovanni's...which was my first time there. I chose the restaurant because of the shining reviews on UrbanSpoon. First of all, the staff was unprofessional and unable to correctly price my order...charging my card more than it should have been. I confronted them about it and they reluctantly refunded the difference. While waiting for my order, one of the delivery drivers walks in with a plastic bag from a store...in the bag was a six pack of beer, which he took to the kitchen area (drinking while working?). After an extremely long wait...over an hour...I overheard the employees in the kitchen bring up my order and how one of the pizzas was incorrect...a ham, olive, & mushroom pizza actually had HAMburger, olive, & mushroom. Five minutes later my order was brought out...one pizza being correct, the other was a hamburger, olive, & mushroom with shredded ham randomly thrown on top. I took it to a VERY young man at the front. Upon pointing out the error, the young man immediately became defensive and blamed the kitchen staff, how busy they were, and tried justifying the mistake...expecting me to accept it. Due to the level of rudeness I received from him, I asked for a manager; to my surprise, HE was the manager. I called him out on the lack of customer service, and he replied, "We have excellent customer service!" I then asked for the owner's name and his contact information; the young man gave the owner's name but would not provide contact information. He then said, "I gave you what you asked for, now I'm asking you to leave." I told him that I would be contacting BBB, and he shouted, "Go ahead!" After arriving home, I read the reviews in detail. I now believe that should I contact the owner, my complaint will not be taken seriously or rectified. The owner, according to the young man, is a man named Sean....coincidentally enough, the same name of a "Sean" who gives excellent reviews of the business on UrbanSpoon, and bashes (with poor grammar and horrible spelling) anyone who provides a negative review. The correct pizza was decent...which is too bad, because I will not eat here again.... read more

Beware if you you want delivery. Passing through Amarillo with my 14yo son, ordered pizza for delivery to our motel room. Crazy that we had to pay $4 for delivery of one pizza to our nearby motel. **I must note that I gave the exact address when I placed order** Waited. Eventually delivery guy called from his cell at another motel of same brand, asking why we weren't there. My son and I ended up with cold pizza, a long wait, and a high delivery charge. That said, if the pizza were warm, I think it might have been very good. I called back later---I spoke to Sean. He wanted to make things right, but that was impossible for us. He should have offered to give me my money back--or at least some of it--but he didn't offer and I doubt the delivery guy could have found me back with the cash. So I asked Sean to pay it forward: he said that the next two people who read this review would get a free order of cheese bread. Please let me know if Sean really did pay it forward! Be forewarned, though, delivery isn't reliable. read more
