We arrived at 6 p.m. and were immediately greeted and made to feel like part of the family. We were promptly seated in a comfortable booth, and it was clear right away that this is a restaurant loved by the locals. The atmosphere had the warmth of a traditional Italian family restaurant mixed with a fun sports bar vibe. Our server, Chris, was at our table within seconds. He walked us through the specials and explained that everything is made fresh in-house. The service was fantastic from the start. If you stop in, ask for Chris. You WILL NOT be disappointed. He was amazing. The overall vibe of the restaurant was a solid 10 out of 10. It's the kind of place where you can come with your family for a great meal or stop by the bar for drinks. Side note--the bartender had us cracking up while we were eavesdropping on his conversations. He was hilarious and added so much personality to the place. We absolutely loved service here! Our server, Savannah, was super sweet, very attentive and so patience with us! Our food came out quickly too and we loved everything. The garlic bread was buttery, the fried cheese had the perfect cheese pull, the pizza was huge and had the perfect amount of chees. The restaurant is also cute inside and we loved how they have an open kitchen so you can see the chefs making your pizza. My friends and I were very excited to check this place out for dinner, but sadly, it was not the best experience. We waited a very long time to have just a server come up to us. Not to bring us our food, but to actually wait on us.. When we finally got the chance to order the food, took a very long time and the restaurant was kind of empty at the time so we were confused as to why we were waiting so long for our food. When the food finally came, it was very good. Very fresh, and exactly what we had ordered. This is one of our favorite pizza spots in Orlando. I have been coming to this location for about 5 to 6 years since I worked in the nearby hospital. When we want New York style pizza my family and I always go to Giovanni's. The atmosphere is nice and the wait times is pretty quick even though I can see that they are very busy. I don't wait no more than 15 minutes. This is definitely a great hangout spot because they have more than just pizza. You could try a variety of Italian food. One of my many visits to Orlando and decided to try this restaurant today. When you first walk in you are greeted by a very friendly staff. You can either dine in or do take out. We decided to dine in since it was about to storm. We ordered the garlic knots, Chicken and broccoli Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi. They also serve a complimentary side of bread. The chicken Alfredo was very good and that chicken really brings the meal together. The shrimp scampi is as okay. It needed something to give it a pop. Wasn't bad wasn't good either. The complimentary bread was so good I wanted to take so back to the hotel with me. So So good. My sister also had a Cesar salad which she enjoyed. I sat at the bar, ordered a beer, and placed a carry out order. The bartender, Jonathan, was very personable and helpful. He helped me select the lemony chicken dish, and suggested getting it with linguine for my pasta selection. So of course I did that. I was not in any rush, I enjoyed a clean and fun atmosphere, the place was busy, and everyone was having a good time. It was like a neighborhood joint, even though it was in a strip mall, between a Publix and a hotel. It was great. My food was prepared quickly, and I took it back to the hotel. It was a remarkable amount of food. It must have weighed 5lbs. There were three chicken breasts, a ton of pasta, a LOAF of garlic bread, and a salad. This was all for $20. They added paper plates, plasticware, Parmesan, and crushed red pepper. All of this because he knew I was staying at a hotel. Pretty remarkable. This was pretty much a family style portion of excellent food. Once you enter, you are greeted by the host, the host was very friendly. I asked about a coupon I had and they accepted it. This place has been around for years, and you're telling me they don't have proper breaded chicken cutlets they can fry fresh, top with a little tomato sauce and decent cheese? Stayed at springhill suites in walking distance to this place. Went the 1st night out of convenience. Went back every night after for the week not only because the food was great but the service was impeccable! The atmosphere is so welcoming they make everyone feel like a regular! This is a great place to have a drink and some great food. Came here after work and sat at the bar. There is also dining room seating. The bartender was really on top of things and very attentive. We had a couple of draft beers and asked for recommendations. My co-worker had the Antipasto Salad and wings while I had the Pasta Verde with blackened chicken added. The salad had enough meat and cheese for a couple of people. My Pasta Verde was one of the best pasta dishes I have had! The wine sauce made it so creamy. The portions were very plentiful. A thin crust $38 large Margherita pizza with (extra cheese and a tip) was thin-crusted but had an edge that was more a hard cracker than an actual crust. The flavors were OK but the extra cheese appeared to be non-existent and the texture was lacking overall. It was very underwhelming for our first pizza there; a pizza that was more expensive than most of our others while being less satisfying was a first for us. I know businesses are having a hard time lately (especially small businesses) so I've ignored a few instances they got my pick up order wrong (I know the way to mitigate this is to always check your order before you leave, but at the same time they should make an effort to get it right). I really love this place. Amazing Italian food, wonderful service, and cozy family atmosphere! My family loves to come here whenever they are in town. I love trying all the different pasta dishes and they always give me extra garlic rolls to go when I ask. The pasta is delicious and flavorful! The garlic bread is also very good and the house dressing is so so so good. My mom loves the house dressing. She also loves getting the chicken Marsala.
