Ordered 2 sandi's ad a pack of bagels (flown in from New York) both sandwhch were excellent. Staff was friendly. Had a great conersation about the tristate area even thought eh place was packed. Also had a anothjer guy over hear our converasation about the lack of decent bagels in the bouth and he choed in with atoer bagel reccomedation and the staff agreed with that recomdation despite it being a competitor. The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. So so goooood! $47-ish for 5 sandwiches. Ordered 2 hot pastramis, classic Italian, hot New Yorker, and roast beef. I can't speak on the other sammies other than the hot pastrami. But my sandwich was soooo good! Didn't hear any complaints about the other sammies so maybe they're good to? Lol. I ordered on the phone prior to arriving to pick them up right when they opened at 11. When I got there I ordered an extra sammie which didn't take long for them to make. A couple of other people in the shop sitting down and enjoying their lunch. My hot pastrami was so good. I did customize it a bit to my liking and the lady on the phone was more than gracious enough to put up with all the orders of the different situations and the additions and the allergy restriction. Always so appreciative when an establishment can accommodate. Clearly didn't get pics of the sandwiches as it seemed that everyone devoured it. I've been going to Sue and the boys for years, and it makes me so happy to see them continually doing well. Though I haven't been in a while, upon entering to pick-up an order I placed over the phone (which is always the way to order), Sue recognized my face and knew my order. What I appreciate about Perrotti's is the quality in everything they do. My go to sandwiches are the Grosvenor Square, the Perrotti Bros with Turkey or the Godfather. All are so different but the quality in the meats just makes each so delicious. Inside can be a little chaotic (if you're ordering in person, you first do so in the back of the restaurant and pay at the front after). I always do takeout and the sandwiches travel well. I love that they place hot sandwiches in a warmer till you arrive to pickup your sandwich. Love having one of my favorite sandwich spots 10 minutes from my place! read more

We ordered take out and brought it home, and I was very happy with how it transported and how fresh it still was when we got it home. I ordered the New Yorker, which had corned beef, pastrami, Swiss cheese, and mustard on rye bread. The flavors were all delicious! My one criticism would be that it needed more meat and more mustard. I think I would have liked it better hot, but that's just personal preference. It was still really tasty, and the bread was some of the best rye bread I've had. My husband ordered the classic Italian sub and let me have a bite. I loved the addition of the Italian dressing on that. Great flavors and pretty solid Italian sub. I wasn't a huge fan of the coleslaw. Found it to be a bit too heavy on the mayo, a bit too creamy. The potato salad, on the other hand, was super interesting and had great flavor. We've ordered from here a few times via DoorDash while we Social distance and I have to say, I am not a sandwich person and this place is GOOD! I've gotten the Reuben 2x and the Rachel once. Both delish - I think I prefer the Rachel though. My only suggestion would be a little more dressing on them and for the Reuben to be toasted. My boyfriend loves the pastramageddon. He says it's nice and spicy. For sides, the pesto pasta salad is pretty yummy. The potato salad is different but also good. I really like their variety of chips. This place sits back in the plaza and every time we have been here the staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable about the options. The food always comes out fast and perfectly prepared. The meats are as close to a NY deli sandwich as you can get without flying to NY. They also sell bagels there flown in from NY. They have some different brand of chips as well that are available as a meal with drink (they have bottled and canned beverages). They have a good amount of seating, but if they get busy you could have trouble finding seating for a larger party. We are a group of 5 so pulled a chair up to one of the booths. We had been meaning to try this place out for a while and finally did! Great New York style deli run by a couple guys straight out of New York. Traditional sandwiches made to order with a large selection of chips to go with them. Also found out the owners are Steelers fans and often have the games playing during football season. Located in a plaza that includes a church and child care services, there is plenty of parking available and you can also order to go. My husband got the traditional pastrami on rye with hot mustard. He said the sandwich was good, could taste the rye bread but just wanted a little more meat on it as the bread was a little thicker. I ordered "The Godmother" which came with capricolla, spinach, roasted red peppers, red wine vinegar and oil. The bread was perfect ratio to the meat and it was delicious. A memory evoking and present experience for the senses. Ok, as dramatic as that sounds, it really resonates that way for me. I finally got to get a chance to try out Perrotti's NY Deli. I say finally, because, I am in Summerport and they are basically in my backyard, but between all the craziness, I have not had the chance. A very friendly cast of food creators welcomed me in as they asked what I wanted. I asked them in turn, what a favorite was. The answer: the Chicken Ranchero Sub. They were right. I'm from New England and have spent a lot of time in a lot of cities that know subs in and out. Since moving to this area, I have not found that place that dials it in the way I remember... till now. The toasted sub roll, that is eyed, not timed. The cut of the veggies not measured, but placed to cover the sub and create that "every quality bite" taste effect, The sub was heated correctly, the way the cheese was melted to the cool of the veggies to the warmth of the roll. It was all in harmony. From the smell, to the look, to the taste and then to the memories of some of the best subs Ive experienced in the past, felt like they connected to the present. Many throw NY, NYC and New York in the title and that's all it is, part of a title. But that title is honored in the freshness, the taste, the delivery and the presentation.
