The gardens were built in an unexpected park of Fresno and these is a lot of history behind them. Parking was somewhat difficult but once you enter, the staff were very kind, organized, and positive. Our tour guide Raul was super sweet and provided a lot of history regarding the gardens and the family who built them. Raul had my 3 young boys engaged and interested. He answered all my questions and was so open to conversation. You could tell Raul was proud to be there telling all of us how the Gardens came to be. The Gardens are very interesting. I've never seen anything quite like these. The smell of all the citrus trees combine with the natural cooling underground was amazing and made the tour comfortable. This is the perfect option for me if I'm traveling solo or with a friend. They make it so easy with pick up and drop off locations in town. I have gone to San Francisco, Moro bay, Avila beach, Monterey, and multiple trips to Yosemite. I always have the best time. I bring my snacks and sometimes a whole picnic feast on the bus. I can nap, read, or listen to music to and from the travel locations. They even stop for breaks to and from location for food and restroom access, they also have a restroom on the bus for convenience. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very professional, friendly, always helpful, and super knowledgeable. Also, make sure to bring cash so you can tip your driver. I will continue to do day trips with this company and I am excited to see what new locations they add for future adventures.

The admission cost is $32 for adults and $19 for children ages (3-12). You'll enjoy a 45 minute scenic journey through the woods along the historic tracks once used by lumberjacks. You'll learn about the areas rich history by conductor Darrell who was great!! Give yourselves enough time to use restrooms or to purchase lunchbox for the ride. We ended up having lunch after the train ride in snack bar and ordered two chili dogs, a pretzel and IPA Lagunitas beer. The food was surprisingly good. We sat in their outdoor picnic tables.
