It was not what I expected. The service was slow even with limited guest. One thing I can give a cheers out for was the homemade bread it was hot and fresh. I had Marsala with beef. My family has been eating here for years! The owner Charlie waits on our party of 11 personally. Two pizzas were ordered and they were fresh made to order. The Pasta a la Charlie was delicious and an empty bowl was all that was left. The house dressing and home made rolls are a must! We have pre-ordered 12 lasagnes to go for a Thanksgiving dinner due to a family emergency and everyone was thankful our take out holiday meal tasted homemade and wonderful! Remember to support the mom and pop places! They have to compete with the cookie cutter franchises. My wife and I have eaten here several times and always received the utmost in service. My wife's birthday was this weekend and I asked where she would like to go for dinner. She said, Giuseppe's. My mind went into overdrive and I wanted to throw her a surprise party since it was her 40th. The team was more than willing to accommodate my wishes. At first, I reserved the room for 25, thinking that would be plenty(I was wrong) they were more than willing to accommodate the change in number, not once but twice. They assisted in making a 'menu' for the party(including whole wheat pasta), had plenty of servers, and the food was enjoyed by all! Needless to say, it was a smash. First time here and I really liked it! I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was great, nice and creamy. My son had a small pepperoni pizza. The pizza was good. Portions we're plentiful. i want to start off by saying i'm a server and i have never received a server/ dining experience such as the one i had here. We were so excited to try this place and of course wanted the full experience. We ordered a bottle of wine, when it was brought to us i was told "little lady im gonna need to see your ID" he looked at like it was the fakest ID on the planet then went to hand it back but quickly snatched his hand back to check it again. when he handed my boyfriend his glass he called him dad. We were talked out of an appetizer, was told he was going to "'monitor or bread intake" when i ordered our salads i wanted a caesar and he told me "yeah it used to be good" and recommended the house. since my partner doesn't eat salad i decided to do one of each. when it was time to order our entrees i chose a higher priced item and he immediately made a face and said "oooh" so i cut him off and chose something else. my partner ordered his meal then asked for the meatball appetizer to come with since he was getting a meatless dish. after ordering i asked "could we get some bread with our entrees" and i was told "yeah we already talked about that" our food was brought out but never the meatballs. i ended up getting the manicotti which had no ricotta in it... just straight beef. the food was fine but i've never had an experience like this. our server was making it his own. this man was the furthest thing from what a server should be and did so many things that you are NOT supposed to do. we will, sadly, more than likely not be returning due solely to this server. he was condescending and poorly trained. read more

Pros and Cons dining here: Clean atmosphere and nice linen covered tables.. Service was excellent even for a large group. Lasagna was really good but beware VERY small portion. Spinach dip is one of the best but very few toasted dipping chips. Salads were also very good. Menu is very extensive and prices are reasonable. There is NO bar to relax or have a drink at and only a VERY limited wine and beer menu. Mixed drinks are not available. read more

I'm new to the area and some Sicilian food sounded like a great idea. Giuseppe's was a joke. First, the wine list was abysmal. My friend and I ordered a glass of chianti. The waiter repeated our drink order and pronounced it CHEE-an-ti. He was serious. We ordered bruschetta. Once again, the waiter mispronounced the dish. We also ordered calamari and because our stay at the restaurant was not looking too promising, we told the waiter we'd order our entrees after the appetizers. Glad we made that decision. It is July. Tomatoes are in season. The tomatoes on the bruschetta looked as though it were probably mid-winter a year ago. They were so drab looking with almost no color to them at all. And Sicilian?? - there was almost no garlic in this dish. The calamari was good though. That was the only saving grace. 3 glasses of CHEE-an-ti, one bru-shetta, as pronounced by our waiter, and one calamari. We decided to go elsewhere for the rest of our meal and asked for the bill. Almost $65! pre-tip! We won't be going back. You shouldn't either. Oh! One last thing...ambiance - music playing was 50's-70's american music. You'd think they could at least play a bit of Italian music to help make up for the lack of Italian food! read more

This place had the best cooked shrimp I've had in years! Not overcooked, not undercooked, and the alfredo wasn't overpowering. Nice little cozy setting inside and I left completely satisfied! I was invited by a friend to eat here on a Monday afternoon. I love Italian and I was really craving it. The server was very attentive and it was quiet in the restaurant. It had a very nice atmosphere. The food was good and we were offered bread. I was able to have a good conversation with my friend without feeling rushed. The only downsides I see to the restaurant would perhaps be the price since salads don't come with the pastas. They also lack some Italian variety, but it's a pretty small restaurant. read more

The decor tries to be personal and homely, but the room just cannot avoid the basic appearance. Decor aside, the food is excellent and the service is good. Pricing is fair with a salmon (8oz) on Angel hair pasta with broccoli for under $19.00. It's open for lunches and always seems to have room for you. read more

This is not the closest Italian place to me, but it well worth the drive. The pizzas are great. I love the chicken alfredo pizza. The entrees are great too. Charlie is always there making sure the service and food are just right. The garlic bread is in a class of it's own. I don't know how he makes it and Charlie won't give up the secret. If you like Italian, you have to at least give this place a try. If you don't think this food is great, go back to Olive Garden and fill up on endless bread sticks. read more
