We arrived behind a large party of about 8 people and were the only other table in the restaurant. They - or should I say he - took our order quickly and were willing to accommodate a special request (to have a breakfast dish after their stated cutoff time due to a wheat allergy; almost everything on the lunch menu is breaded/fried, so I couldn't eat it). It was clearly Native-owned, which I was happy to support. However, the poor guy who took our order was the only one in the place. He was doing everything: stocking, cleaning, taking orders, cooking. We were there for nearly an hour when the other party's food came out. By this point, we had figured out that he was flying solo, so we were sort of hoping our food would come out at the same time. It didn't. We asked if ours had been started yet, and it hadn't. Seeing that we were staying 3 hours from the park, we had to leave to meet up with our family without having any lunch. This could easily have been avoided with a little communication from the get-go: "Hey, a large party just came in ahead of you. Just so you know, it's probably going to be an hour or more before you see any food." We would have left then and had time to get lunch before starting our drive back to Augusta. As it was, we paid for our 1 drink, made do with whatever snacks we had, and hit the road. Can't comment on the food and the guy was super nice, so I hate to leave a not-great review, but I can't imagine what would have happened if 2 or more of the parties from our boat ride had arrived at the same time we had. I think a little work on the staffing side would do wonders.

This was one of the best KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed in. The location was great, just north of…read morethe main Saint Mary's Village area. The reception team was so good and efficient when you arrive to ask you about your reservation and then to point you do your campsite location. We stayed in one of the cabins over towards the south edge. It had two bunkbeds and a queen size mattress in it. It was very enjoyable and the mattress was pretty comfortable, a solid 7.5 out of 10 for mattress comfort. The room add a refrigerator that worked great, as well as a microwave that we did not need to use. The biggest highlight was that they deliver pizza to your location if you order it in advance and are ready and able to wait for 30 minutes. To have a Campground deliver pizza to your site was a real treat after a long day in glacier national Park. So we sat on the cabin porch swing and enjoyed our really well-made great quality pizza. After our pizza we took advantage of a very clean laundry facility and is super well-maintained showers area. The laundry room was clean and well-kept. And the bathrooms and showers were well-maintained and didn't have that traditional muddy floor that you sometime experience in other campsites. In the morning we were able to use their small market to be able to buy some postcards, Gatorade, and other items to take into the park with us. The special shout out goes to "Steve from Amarillo Texas" one of the 2023 season camp post. Super great at making you feel at home and welcomed to the campsite. He was fun, knowledgeable of the park happenings, and generous with this time to make sure each guest knew where to go, and what they needed. I'd give this campground a solid 10 out of 10. I was very disappointed with both our stay and, even more so, how management handled my concerns…read moreafterward. We stayed at the St. Mary / East Glacier KOA for two nights, July 17-19, 2026. I specifically chose this campground and paid a premium rate in large part because of the advertised pool, hot tub, and sauna. During our entire stay, the hot tub was out of order, the sauna was out of order, and the pool heater was not working, leaving the pool extremely cold at approximately 70°F. We reported the problems to the onsite office staff, and maintenance personnel checked the equipment and confirmed that repairs could not be completed immediately and would require outside service. I understand that equipment can fail unexpectedly. What I found unacceptable was the way management handled the matter afterward. I called the campground twice and was told messages would be left for the manager. I then sent multiple emails requesting a reasonable partial refund, not a full refund, because we did receive the campsite and hookups. Despite those efforts, management did not respond. Only after a few weeks passed and I contacted KOA corporate and KOA forwarded my complaint to the campground did management finally reply. They acknowledged that the hot tub, sauna, and pool heater were unavailable during our stay, but still denied any partial refund because the campsite and hookups were provided. That response misses the point. We paid a premium price for a campground offering amenities that were an important part of why we selected this location. Had we known those amenities would all be unavailable, we would have stayed at a considerably less expensive campground nearby. Mechanical problems happen. Good customer service is demonstrated by how a business responds when they do. In this case, I was especially disappointed that it took repeated phone calls, multiple emails, and ultimately intervention from KOA corporate just to receive a response from campground management. Based on our experience with the unavailable amenities and the way management handled a reasonable customer concern, I would have difficulty recommending this campground at its premium pricing.

Situated on a nice creek and had a nice walking trail for the dogs. Full services at some sites. Sites are grassy and very nice sized. When we were there the park was half-empty and seemed very peaceful and quiet. There are two bathrooms. The older one was average is condition, the main downside is that the water for a shower is not a temp control handle but one of the push button, no temp control. The temp turned out to ok but the problem was the water only stays on for 4 seconds. I had to lean on the button non-stop to keep water going so that leaves you only one hand to shampoo, wash, etc. I checked out the new shower house which had I believe only one shower. When I tried the push button to see if it stayed on longer than the older shower house the ENTIRE bathroom flooded. Poor slope planning for good drainage when the floor was poured.

When we arrived at the campsite the ranger was very friendly and gave us helpful information about storing our food items and being sure to pack everything up as this area is prone to bears. The site itself was very private. Our particular campsite allowed the RV to be parked in front and was surrounded by trees so we felt as though we were in our own little camping world. The sites at the top of loop C offer an open field perfect for sunset watching or stargazing, but do not provide as much privacy. When planning your stay, be sure to note the shower locations. We were on the opposite end of the loop, and running to the showers in the brisk morning air was not a favorable option. Additionally, the visitors center is a little bit of a walk, but provides a shuttle to Logan Pass via "Going to the Sun Road". This was a great option for us, as our RV was not able to drive the road due to vehicle size restrictions. I would recommend the shuttle as it runs pretty frequently and parking can be scarce at the popular overlooks and trail heads. Overall, we enjoyed this campsite and look forward to coming back here!

It lacks pretension, it's doesn't have a bunch of frills. And it's perfect! Full hook ups, pull thru, very spacious. It's close to Glacier, so we were able to roll our motorcycle out of the back of our rig and ride into the park. This really is a hidden gem, you just can't beat the view or the scenery. It's walking distance to the village and we are of the opinion Serranos for dinner is your best bet. Laundromat serves not only the local community but the campground as well. This is essentially a 3 or 4 acre spacious lot in front of someones home and we could not ask for a better place for our base camp for our motorcycle adventure in Glacier.
