The cover was a stunning vintage piece of a satanic, horned bat head on top of a screw style bottle opener. I am excited to get my read on this winter. And the book only cost me 3 buckaroos. Not too shabby. I also enjoyed the smell of old books as I walked into the tiny little bookstore to pay. I told the guy working there that it reminded me of Portland. His response was "Oregon or Maine". I quickly answered with a firm "Oregon of course". He sighed when he realized it was not the Portland he grew up in since, he did not see the similarities in Portland, Maine.
