last year I purchased some items from the Glam Envy website and returned them all because the sizing was way off. I wear a size 12 and their size 13 in jeans barely covered one of my legs. Because they don't offer cash back, only store credit and some of the items aren't eligible to be returned at all I didn't want to take the risk in online ordering again and having the same problem. *also be advised the store credits do have an expiration date* I knew I was coming to LA so I decided that I would make a trip to the store front to redeem my store credit. The boutique is really cute inside, small, and I didn't have any problem finding street parking. There is a pretty good selection of items if you're between sixes 2-8 but larger than that you'll be a bit limited. I tried on several items and most of them just did not fit my body properly. A lot of the fabrics are thin and sheer, the dresses and skirts I tried on showed my underwear so beware of that also. I found the most success in accessories and jackets. I purchase a jumpsuit that fit me perfectly and it is a size 2X. In no other store have I ever fit into a 2X but I liked it enough to keep. The prices are pretty expensive based on the quality and I did not see any sale section inside of the store. A mini backpack, jumpsuit, duster and pair of no-name sunglasses was over $200. Thankfully my credit was $160 and covered most of that. Staff were helpful and friendly, I would consider the customer service 5 stars but I know I won't shop here again based on the sizing, selection and prices. read more

I would NOT recommend buying from here unless you're a size 0-5. I'm a size 8... or a Medium. I've tried so hard to like their clothes but they don't fit and aren't true to size! They are also SUPER sheer and almost see through. I bought 2 body suits in a medium. They are paper thin... and see through. I bought dusty mauve and taupe colors. It's also has a weird fit to my body. I'm a little curvy and they would look better on a stick body . I bought the Stephanie dress in large, and OMG it's was tighter than the body suits, also see through and was just ugly. The only thing buying from here has done, is made me feel bad about my body and my weight. I won't be buying anything from here again. Maybe the shoes are a better buy choice but I'd steer clear of the clothes. Also... a size 8 is not a plus size as the comment below suggests . The items I purchased were not presented as sheer. I'm sure people who work here do just fine but for regular people like me who buy online, and don't want to spend $100+ this is not an ideal place to buy clothes. read more

I am not as fortunate as most of you young ladies living in L.A. I had to do my Glam Envy shopping online. I had bought an item and unfortunately the item was still too small for me (I did use the sizing guide online) I emailed customer Service and spoke with Dawn. She gave me an RA number and I returned the item. The day it was rcvd back at their store, I got an email that night stating I had store credit. I Re-ordered my item in a large and since they were having a very nice sale, I got a dress, too. From start to finish the turnaround for the return was about 7-8 business days. Not bad at all! Quick and easy. I love both items I purchased. The quality is nice and I am a Glam Envy fan, now. I definitely will be buying again in the future.
