She literally loves these kids as if they were her own. She very passionate about what she does and she makes these kids, my daughter included, light with excitement! When she comes home, all she wants to do is show me what Ms "Lorla" taught her. This is a great opportunity to offer your kids at a,very affordable price and with the vast array of sessions (dance, ballet, modern, gymnastics, etc) it will really help pinpoint exactly what your child is into most. I should've been Alerted when she started sharing with me how her cousin has a dance team but the dances are ratched and how her child's father has a girlfriend and she wears hearing aides and she thought it was something to make fun of and laugh about. I would never recommend this Alicia Menzies Dance Company to a soul... I know her personally and…read morenot only was I a team mom but a dance mom to. My 10 yr old daughter attended this horrid place for two seasons and a summer. Alicia starts off very believable in what she says as far as how she feels about your kids, and your overall experience with her but in a very short amount of time you began to learn her true ways as well as several staff.. She prys into your personally life and tries to use what she feels shes learned against you abd or your children. Prime example: she made a derogitory statement towards me being an unwedded mother at the time I concieved my daughter(hints) she didnt know me at the time. Stating that I should be proud of having a child and being a baby momma!! So she feels strongly that if your not married and have kids that you and your child/kids are beneath her.. Funny thing is her mother wasn't married to her father and her mothers current boyfriend of near 20 years is a whole married man .. Shes extremly shallow and has no professionalism about herself.
