I've been going to Elia for five years now. The services I receive our lash extensions (hybrid / classic), facials, and upper lip waxing. I've gotten my lashes done by her for the past five years and I absolutely love the way they turn out every time. She is really easy to talk to, she always tries to accommodate me, and she is so kind. As for the facials, I just started getting them recently, only having done two so far and I regret not getting them sooner. I have acne prone skin with a lot of inflammation, after the first facial I've noticed my skin already calming down hence why I got the second facial. I have my third facial appt coming up in two weeks, and she's done more for my skin than the hundreds of dollars I've spent on expensive skincare items. I went to Elia last month because I needed my eyebrows waxed and tinted. She did an amazing job. In fact, she did such a good job that my husband did not complain when I came home. He always complains they are too dark, I don't like them, I hate when you get them done it was wonderful he did not say a word. So today I went back and had my eyebrows waxed and tinted again, and I also had my arms and under arms waxed. She does an amazing job that I am willing to go in and get my legs done, this is something I swore I would never do again, but since there was no pain when she did my arms I decided I to give the legs a try. My natural lashes are fluffy little feathers from waterproof eye makeup and medication I'm on. Elia does what she needs to make sure my extensions look the way I want them and last as long as possible. Elia is seriously the best! I went for my first ever lash lift a few months ago - her attention to detail and patience was much appreciated. I was originally going to get lash extensions but really would recommend trying the lash lift first, it fades a lot more naturally than extensions and is also very low maintenance in comparison! I think the lash lifting process only took about 45 minutes and she had a very comfortable setup in her studio. I was traveling to Sacramento from NY and interested in trying eyelash extensions for a party I had in town. I had gotten eyelashes once before, years ago, and was looking for a person in town that was knowledgeable as I had a lot of questions since I didn't remember what the process was. I also wanted someone who would listen to me carefully and had the expertise to do exactly what I wanted which was a natural look that still looked like it had a lot of length and volume. I asked around and was recommended to Elia for her amazing eyelash skills and her patience. WOW! I'm so glad I went to Elia, not only did she give me an amazing set of eyelashes that looked like they were my own but she was also very patient with me as I asked her a million questions about what she was doing and gave me great tips about how to take care of them so that they'd last me a very long time. She even gave me a little goodie bag of eyelash brushes to help me clean and fluff the eyelashes. They ended up lasting about six weeks! As for the location, it was very easy to find and super cute. Her private "salon" is inside of a shared space of other beauty professionals. It was meticulously organized and serene. I was pleased with how sanitary her salon is and hygienic she was when applying the eyelashes. If an eyelash had accidentally fallen on my face, as she was applying them, she made sure not to re-use it as not to put me in any danger of an eye infection. I had also let her know that I wear contacts and was nervous about the glue burning my eyes (as it did when I had this service done years ago in New York). Elia reassured me that the glue she used was the most sensitive glue she could find and that it would not affect my eyes as it did in the past. I am happy to say that she was right and I appreciated her listening to all the concerns I had prior to starting the process and making me feel comfortable. I was so pleased with Elia's professionalism and expertise that I also added a facial as a service. She was just as thorough on the facial as she was with the eyelash extensions and my skin looked amazing!! I would highly recommend Elia and am looking forward to getting more services done when I am back in town.
