Mandie was terrible! She did my brows and they never turned out defined, dark or sculpted. After my second session she claimed I could have a third, but told me to buy a product dye on Amazon. I pad her over $700.00 for nothing. I left her several messages and texts about wanting to schedule the third make up session, and she ignored the v-mail and texts, and never returned a call for another appointment. Mandie did a wonderful job on my brows. I have tattoos all over my body and expected the microblading to be painful, but it was nothing! Mandie used a numbing cream which minimized the pain a lot. Her studio is adorable, free/easy parking, and I had great results! I don't need to use makeup to fill in my brows anymore! I have to be honest, I was a little reluctant to have Mandie do my make-up since I've had some not so great experiences in the past. The last time I had my make up done by a "professional," she had me looking like Magda from There's Something About Mary. Yes, Magda, the overly tanned, orange, old lady with chalky skin and pastel pink lipstick. It was a god-damned nightmare! But, after looking at Mandie's online portfolio, I had to give her a shot--her pictures are just so damn beautiful. So, I brushed my fears aside and contacted Mandie to make me look beautiful for my recent graduation from CSUS (shameless shout out to myself, woot!). She did a KILLER job. Not to brag or anything, but I got compliments all day and into the night on how great my eyes looked. Mandie's knack for blending colors resulted in make-up that made my eyes pop without looking tacky or overstated. She is an artist through and through and that definitely shows in the end result. I've known Mandie a long time. She's great! We used to work together at the MAC counter years ago where she would school me on face charts (especially eyebrows). Her artistic skills are amazing, not only does she do beautiful makeup, but she can sketch, draw and paint as well. She has a huge arsenal & the skills to boot. How could I possibly give less than 5 stars to the fabulous makeup artist Mandie Jackson? The girl works wonders and made me look like a golden goddess for my birthday party this year. I'll start by saying that my face, specifically the shape of my eyes, are kind of awkward for applying makeup. Anytime I have had my makeup done by people at various makeup counters and for weddings, I always end up wiping off half the eye shadow because they make me look like a street walker. Every. Single. Time. I came to Mandie because I have been impressed by the work she's done on other women. Her whole setup is great. Nice, clean brushes, and she has TONS of quality makeup. I went to Mandie to get eyelash extensions for a trip to Vegas. I love them! She did a great job, the salon is small and friendly and I was totally comfortable the entire 2 hours it took to apply the lashes. I have since gone back and gotten a fill and I am still so in love with my lashes. Mandie listened to the look I was going for and chose the perfect length and amount of lashes. My lashes look natural and just like I have some awesome mascara on without the hassel of mascara clumping, running, etc. I love that I look put together even with minimal makeup thanks to the lashes. read more

I am so incredibly happy to have finally found a reliable lash guru! The last time I got my lashes done was at Sidney Le by one of their senior techs and the experience was terrible. The tech did not fit the lashes to my natural eye shape and the lashes started to fall off in less than a week. I waited a whole year to work up the courage to try lashes again. This is a LONG overdue review and I feel super awful for not leaving it sooner. Mandie did my makeup for my wedding back in October 2012. Long story short, I have no idea why the hell I didn't give much thought to hiring a makeup artist for my wedding until, like, 3 weeks before. I can't remember how I was led to Mandie but thankfully she was available on short notice. Because of the time crunch, we didn't do a trial. Hell, I never even met her until she showed up to do my makeup for my wedding. SHE'S THAT GOOD. Never even met her, never really discussed what I wanted, and she knocked it out of the park. She seriously has magic makeup powers. Mandie made me look flawless even with stress-related blemishes (thanks wedding planning!). I don't think she even used concealer, she's that skilled. All you wedding planning ladies know, it ain't easy. So just do yourself a solid and book her (with more notice than I gave). I recently had my permanent brows done by Mandie. It's been about five weeks and they are fully healed now and AMAZING! i think like most of us who have to "fill in" our brows everyday, we are extremely picky and its also quite time consuming! Well, I was sick of it! Found Mandie and although I know she will begin offering Microblading soon I decided to have my brows done using her hand stroke method and I am so happy I made the decision. To my surprise, this is NOT AT ALL PAINFUL!!!! I actually wish the procedure was longer because I could have had a longer nap. She started post consent forms by applying numbing cream and doing some color tests. This part was quite fun. You never knew there were so many options for brow color and yes it's super important!!! Then the fun part...shaping and brow tattoo! I didn't have pain after or much peeling. You do have to apply Aquaphor for a few days so plan on having a slight shiny brow that week. All worth it in the end! I'm fully healed with perfect shaped brows and can do hot yoga everyday, workout, sweat, swim and still have eyebrows!! She is a true artist. Thanks Mandie! read more
