This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. I moved recently and wanted somewhere close to my new house. The first thing I noticed was the fact they had 8 employees working when I walked in. So even though there were 6-7 customers, I still was helped immediately. The nail tech, Steven, was amazing. He quickly took off my old acrylics (which were horrible) and listened to exactly what I wanted. He was so fast that I wasn't even in the salon for an hour. I love my nails, they're perfect. I will be returning to this salon regularly. Highly recommended for friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and overall a great nail salon. read more

Open Sundays when most Gainesville salons are not, the walk-in wait for a French pedicure was minimal. "Nicki/Nikki" was quiet & very pregnant; she appeared to speak very little English. There were 8 staff members working & all were very busy. The staffers consisted of 7 Asians & 1 woman from South America; unlike my usual salon, here there was almost no communication occurring between customers & nail staff. I do love that this salon now uses an individual blue liner for each customer; once service is over, it's tossed & a new liner greets the next patron. Nicki was very attentive; I didn't have to tell her what I needed done. She took her time on my feet, which was nice. The only thing this salon is missing is an electric or battery operated nail file; it would have removed the residual nail stain left after the previous polish was removed. The finished result still looked very nice. When checking out (& prior to your card being swiped), if you don't want to leave a tip in cash you must tell the nail tech to include it. If you wait until after your card has been swiped, you won't be able to leave a tip using your credit or debit card-- cash tips are, of course, welcomed. read more

I am in love with my nails and I have not been able to say that in a long time I had Steven do my gel nails and he done an amazing job I cannot where acrylic powder I can only wear the IBD gel and he is great. They are so perfect and so natural looking you would not know that they were not my real nails and that is with them being a French manicure. I will be driving from Jacksonville to here to get my nails done. That is a one and a half hour drive but it is worth it. read more

I searched for a nail place that can do exactly what I wanted (went to 3 different places before I found this one. It's worth the 20 minute drive from my house. The faded (ombre) french tip look. Believe it or not most nail places in Gainesville, do not do this. I brought in a picture and the nail tech Steven did it perfectly, better than the picture. I also got a Pedicure which was so relaxing I suggest you ask for Danny. He is very careful and you can tell he really enjoys his job to making one's feet very happy :) Bella is awesome too and she is funny. I got the mac daddy pedicure, OMG let me tell you, two different types of scrubs were applied. then a cooling mask, then a paraffin wax, then stone massage, thennn hot towels and each time I got a mini massage followed by at least a 10 minute massage. So needless to say I was in the chair for awhile so I observe them in action with other customers. They're team players. No one waited for anything all 3 of them helped each other and the ladies kept coming in the door (walk-in's). I was thinking no way could they handle it all. To my surprise they did and efficiently. This was the worst experience ever! I took my daughter her for her birthday. The service was horrible! They forgot her and left her sitting at the pedi station in cold water for an hour and half. No apology or explanation was given! I bought the Hawaiian pedi which was top of the line so she could have a nice experience on her birthday! Spent a ton of money and three hour later finally finished. Based on the way I was treated you would have thought I purchased a polish change and not 3 delux pedis and three gel manicures! I've never spent so much and received such poor service. Never again! read more

Great place! Manicures last longer here. I never a long wait. There is a good color selection. Clean and professional service! I usually get the forget me not pedicure. There are several scents to pick from for the sugar scrub, which is a nice personalization. read more

I was hoping for a nice relaxing day at the spa with my daughters... Boy was I in for quite a different experience!!! After not covering my daughters entire nail with product (looks as though she has nails that have grown out for 4-4 days), my daughter tried explaining to Steven that she wasn't happy with the her nails not being covered by product... He tried convincing her that covering it with just polish would "cover it." That wasn't satisfactory to her as she explained "it won't change the fact that I will have to come back 3-4 days earlier than I should have to.." Steven then SHOUTED at her to "OKAY FINE THEN! GET OUT OF HERE!!" My other daughter had a nail that needed to be addressed- I pointed it out to him when I was paying and he nodded; however, after I paid he insisted he would not fix it unless my daughter apologized to him!!! I was not taking that for an answer so another nice lady who works there came over and fixed it! I will NEVER come back here again and would strongly urge anyone else to go to Queen Nails!!! This was my 3rd time coming to this salon for a spa pedicure (sugar scrub, extended moisturizing massage, paraffin wax, hot towels). I've always enjoyed my services here until this visit. Maybe because it was a Monday during their lunch hour (arrived after 1pm) but the staff made me feel so comfortable I almost ran out. The techs were arguing and shouting at their supervisor that they did not want to take any more customers. It seemed one girl was still on her lunch break at her station on her phone, another girl was screaming in another language from the back room and the other MALE nail tech yelled "No I don't want to take the next person, I don't care" he was busy texting on his phone and never even looked up at his supervisor. Fortunately the supervisor did my pedi but it was so awkward sitting there in such a HOSTILE work environment...I can no longer support this business with my patronage. read more

i was hopeful i will have a great experience but i had a horrible experience, came from the other side of town and had to come back in 1 day because my 3d design fell off in just 1 day!!!! very unprofessional .....my nail "gel nail polish" horrible ! 2 days later my nail polish is coming off i paid $50 for this horrible job by steven i will not be recommending any one to visit this place. my nails look more like $10 than $50!!! please stay away!!! for $50 it should be flawless work but they ripped me off completely! read more
