During my appointment it became apparent Jessica did not even know how to do gel glitter ombré, so I pivoted to just doing a simple layer of glitter on top of the neutral color I had picked out, so what I walked away with was nothing like what I asked for. My nail polish isn't super even, and I need to touch up the filing. I simply don't like my nails, and am disappointed this is what I will have for the holidays. I totally understand that not every nail tech is skilled at nail art, but then make that clear. Tell the client it's not possible, and that you can only do the basics.
