They do not use an autoclave to disinfect their tools. The towels are basically rags with holes and frayed edges. The techs do not use any sort of cuticle cream when working on your nails, and have you soak your nails in cold water for around 10 seconds. The salon also had an odd odor. I was the only customer in there on a Saturday afternoon and I can see why. Avoid. read more

Bella Nails and Spa is owned by the nicest people and their staff is great. My favorite technician is David, he does a great job and does the best leg massage I've ever had. I highly recommend the whole staff as at one time or another they've all helped beautify my feet. read more

Went there for SNS and got "dip". I thought it would be ok I've had dip before. The top coat started to peel in 2 days. My nails are horrible at a week. I gave them 2 chances thinking the first time was a fluke since I was packing boxes later in the week. Nope! Limited colors and subpar product or application don't know which but i don't have $50 to give away and get jacked up nails the next week. Peace read more

I have been going to Bella Nails in Gainesville for gel manicures for about a year. They are caring, accommodating, attentive, and especially are clean. They repaired a nail damaged at another local nail salon. Nail art is available. I like the Cat's Eye polish. It is obvious that many people there are long term clients and this salon has been around for many years. I do not think they would be allow me to leave without a perfect manicure every time. read more

Love this place! I've been to quite a few nails salons in the Gainesville area and the salon is always clean, great staff, very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter and I get gel nails and pedicures frequently as a mommy daughter bonding time. She loves it and they treat her well with her requests for special ornamental nails. Can't recommend a place without it being top notch. Also very affordable too. Some other places overcharge. read more

I brought my daughter with me today too and she nailed my daughter's request for a fun star design. My nails always last when I come here and they're never bulky or too thick - but just right. I decided last minute to get a pedicure and everywhere else was closed or by appointment only. Bella got me in as a walk in immediately, and they did a great job! I got a basic pedicure that lasted probably an hour, and the prices were great. I only brought tennis shoes and not sandals, and the guy doing my toes made sure I didn't leave until they were totally dry (which I appreciated). I'll definitely go back! read more

I took my mother to Bella Nail Spa and the service was awful. They seem to prioritize other customers over us. I waited patiently yet others who arrived after me were serviced before me. The person who did my mother's pedicure stopped mid-pedicure to begin someone else's pedicure. He just left her sitting with a towel on her legs...no explanation. While waiting, I watched them converse with other customers, but when servicing my mom and me, they only spoke to each other in their native language. Every time I come here I am so happy and satisfied by the service, prices, and quality. I highly recommend seeing Brian. He puts time and effort into his work and he pays attention to detail. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I went to this nail salon weeks ago for a full set. Yesterday I decided to soak off my nails (I've done this many times before and have the tools at home to properly do it) and realized that they used MMA acrylic!! It has taken me almost a full day to even get somewhat finished with soaking this stuff off and my natural nails are ruined! If you don't know, MMA is used by dentists for teeth bonding and it is highly toxic and ILLEGAL to use on nails! I can not believe how bad my natural nails are, they are paper thin and peeling right off of the nail bed. I am ashamed that nail salons today still choose to save money by using this horrible (did mention ILLEGAL) product! read more

I like Bella Nail spa. They always can fit me in or there is just a short wait. They do get busy, but I think that is a sign that they are reasonably priced and do a good job. The pedicure is good. They do massage your legs and do a hot towel wrap. (To get a great rating would involve hot stones) It takes about 45 mins for a pedicure. The chairs are nice. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. They always do a great job on my nails. They are friendly. Several women from my office go here as well. I definitely recommend Bella Nail Salon. read more

I just went in to get my gel polish taken off. Decided to come here because it was on my way home. They immediately got me to a station & brought out a bowl of Acetone to dip my fingers in. The bowl looked as if it had been used by another person. Floating particles of old polish chips. I told them & they took the bowl to the back & brought another bowl & it still was not clean. I believe they reuse to acetone from previous customers. The place was dirty & just was not inviting. Will never go back. read more

When you make an appointment and you sit there for 25 minutes while she is finishing someone else's nails and have to leave because you are going to be late to go back to work. The shop is not very clean and they reuse the same tools over and over on people. read more

my first time there a man did my nails.i wanted long stilettos. he laid down acrylic before even shaping them and kept giving me a coffin shape. they were so thin. a girl took over to try to fix as much as she can. it was overalll a 3 hour process. next time there she did them and it AGAIN was a 3 hour process and they still looked awful. read more
