Absolutely loved my time at Hydrology today. It was my first time and Yas, the master injector and…read morenurse practitioner, went above and beyond for me. He was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Hydrology is not a typical relaxation spa and is definitely more of an anti-aging/wellness spa which is what I loved. It's a one stop shop that offers a variety of services from cryotherapy to lymphatic massages to injections. They also offer monthly beauty and wellness packages which is a great deal for people, like myself, that are consistent about their treatments. I look forward to going back and taking advantage of all that Hydrology has to offer.

I signed up for the slim and detox massage/infrared sauna experience that they were offering for Miami spa month. The girl that greeted me was super nice. When I arrived she walked me to the infrared sauna which I loved because it's private room. I brought my book to read while I would sweat out my toxins but unfortunately I couldn't do that. The owner had some friends over and the racquet they had going on sounded like a frat house. After the sauna, they walked me to the "relaxation" area where I was suppose to wait for my therapist to come get me. At this point the noise was even worse so I suggested moving to a different room because I wanted to relax. They informed me that it didn't matter what room they would give me because the noise was going to be traveling throughout the spa. I asked them to please ask the owner to be considerate and as expected the staff was hesitant to do so since he's the boss. It's completely understandable that they were afraid to ask him to lower his voice but they did it anyways. The staff was honestly great. After they asked him to keep it quite, the noise did get better and luckily I was able to enjoy the massage. Another reason I gave the spa 3 stars was because I was taken to the sauna but I was never given a locker to put my personal stuff so I had to carry my stuff back and forth. It was awkward. Overall, I would give this place a second chance because of the staff.

Bizarre policy where they require a huge deposit, and a massive first-time consultation fee, and if you go any longer than a year, they treat you as a new patient and do it again! Front desk is extremely rude and unhelpful. Doctor overcharges for many services, and is clearly a moneygrabber that doesn't care about you, AT ALL. DO NOT GO HERE. ANYWHERE ELSE IS BETTER.

His marketing creates the strong impression of Harvard-level dermatology or aesthetic training, but his actual background is in **abdominal radiology**, not dermatology or aesthetic medicine. This matters because many patients--including myself--trusted him based on those claims. I spent **over $7,000** under his care, and my skin ended up significantly worse** than when I started. My hyperpigmentation intensified dramatically. I brought clear photo evidence to every single visit showing things were getting worse, yet I was repeatedly told it was "getting better." Instead of addressing the worsening results, he kept adding new, expensive treatments and selling additional high-priced products. When I tried to speak with him urgently about the reaction, he repeatedly avoided phone calls and the office insisted I "just come in" rather than discussing the problem. He also charged me a **$100 late fee** for being 15 minutes late to one single appointment--out of six total visits--something I've never experienced with any legitimate dermatology practice. He also sells SkinCeuticals products at full retail price with no discounts**, even though nearly every reputable dermatology office and major online retailers offer 10-15% off. It felt like every opportunity to charge more was taken. I deeply regret going to this practice. Now I must seek help from a real, board-certified dermatologist** to reverse the damage--likely at substantial additional cost. Patients deserve honest and transparent representation of a doctor's credentials. "Aesthetic physician" is **not** a recognized medical specialty. Any MD with prescribing authority can use that title without ever completing a dermatology residency. **Again--this doctor is NOT a dermatologist. To clarify: ChatGPT does NOT verify medical credentials. It pulls from webpages and online descriptions, and his marketing heavily influences search results. I did not realize this when I originally searched for a dermatologist using ChatGPT. Credential verification must be done through the state board: FL Dept of Health Practitioner Profile: (You may need to copy/paste because Yelp removes active links) [https://mqa-internet.doh.state.fl.us/MQASearchServices/HealthCareProviders/PractitionerProfilePrintFriendly?LicInd=114984&ProCde=1501](https://mqa-internet.doh.state.fl.us/MQASearchServices/HealthCareProviders/PractitionerProfilePrintFriendly?LicInd=114984&ProCde=1501) In my experience, it was evident he was not a dermatologist because my concerns were dismissed, my worsening results were ignored, and I was left with damaged skin and a significant financial loss. I strongly urge others to research thoroughly before trusting their skin to any provider whose advertised qualifications do not match their official training.
