I am super picky about my brows and usually pluck them myself for perfection however, I sometimes get lazy and when I do, I ONLY trust Shamsa with cleaning up stray hairs. She not only threads but cuts when necessary to get the perfect look When I first started going to her many many years ago, she told me to let me brows grow because I had plucked them too thin. It took a long time to get the bald spots to grow back but she was right and now they look better than ever. I have been going to Shamsa for so long but stopped going due to distance and how packed the salon gets now. However, if you are looking for someone to do threading for the first time, and are worried to come here, do not be! You will be well taken care of. I also got mehndi done from her once before and it turned out sooo wonderful. Basically, it was for a wedding and I did not get a chance to get mehdni that day so I decided to just pay for it and get it done on my own, and she did awesome, i got so many compliments on my mehndi!!! I have been going to get my eyebrows threaded with Shamsa for 15 years now! She is the absolute best. No matter where I live in DFW I will drive to her bc she is the absolutely amazing. I am super picky with my eyebrows but not only is Shamsa patient but she is a perfectionist and so she will make sure the eyebrows are even and perfect. Also my schedule is pretty hectic and although appointment is preferable, going in as a walk in will not require too much of a wait. Whenever I would make the dumb mistake of going to someone else because it was more convenient location wise, I would have to wait for the eyebrows to grow back semi normally so Shamsa could fix them. She knows what eyebrow shapes are supposed to look like for each face! AND she actually listens when you say "please don't make them thin" Also, I have tried countless salons for haircuts over the years ranging from Toni and Guy to other more high end salons in Dallas. I decided to go with Shamsa one day for choppy layers throughout and layers around the face. The haircut I got from Shamsa was as good if not better than all of the high price salons I have gone to over the years. I'm not even exaggerating. AND she charges 1/4 the price of those salons! Our face is the first thing people see, and after years of my own over-plucking, I grew my eyebrows out and preferred to let the professionals handle them. I have been around town trying out new threading locations one after the other. After the numerous failed attempts to find one professional who is able to make my eyebrows both look even & follow direction easily, I land in Shamsa's shop completely distrusting and hopeless. One of my eyebrows grows in differently so what you do on one may not be all you have to do on the other. Shamsa cleaned up my overgrown eyebrows and made them even.
