Lavender Luu did my lashes today and I was very happy with the service!! I got a hybrid set for reference. My appointment started early and she was very friendly and efficient. This was my first ever set, and when I was Googling beforehand how long a set typically takes to put on they were saying 2-3 hours. Lavender had me done in an hour and half. Also, with this being my first set I needed a little help deciding which set to get. Lavender explained the different sets for me and helped me pick one. They're very comfortable as well. I wear glasses 24/7, and when I've worn falsies in the past they would push against the lenses, but they don't! I sometimes forget that I even have them on! I find it a bit odd they don't have 2-4 star reviews. Here is my experience last week. I got a lash lift. I was asked to sign a consent form before. I was asked to wash my eyes and hands before. There were 2 ladies working on me and they were working on 2-3 other clients at the same time. So I am not sure if they changed gloves or washed hands between clients. I'm a RN and very concerned of hygienic practices. My lashes are short and weak. But the lash techs kept telling me that my lashes were bad and that they wouldn't turn out as good as the lady next to me. This was being broadcasted loudly for all clients to hear. I did not appreciate this at all. If anything, I would've preferred if they had told me to return when my lashes were more grown out. My lashes turned out okay, but for the price, it was a waste. They also told me to get a lash tint for $20 more, but my lashes are already black. Guess what? The tint did nothing for me. I also came home and found 6 bug bites on my thigh after. I was wearing pants all day and changed into a dress right before, so I am pretty sure the bug bites happened while I was laying down on the bed. The beds have a cover over them but now I'm not sure if they change them between each client. read more
