12/13/25, worse experience ever. it took 2 people to do 1/2 a nail polish, I walked out with a color I did not want, but after 2 hours I was done and ready to go. There is a short fat man rude as ever. I would advise people to stay away and they over charge, this was my mistake for not going to my regular nail place. Yhere was a lady before me with a bad experience where they did half the work Andover charged he, I should have left right behind here. I will never give this place another penny. This place never fails me !!! I love that they use disposable plastic bags for the pedicure stations and are thrown away after each customer , LOVE THAT cause some places don't do that and you prone to fungus infections. Rose & Anna helped me out today my eyebrows are fireeeeeeeee & my pedicure experience was great. $40 for the deluxe pedicure and $10 for my eyebrows. Don't make an appointment. They won't honor it. I showed up today for an appointment time THEY suggested that I come for only for them to ask me to come two hours later than the actual time of the of appointment because the person wasn't going to show up until then. This nail salon is terrible! . The customer service is awful and for this reason I do not recommend this nail salon and I will not return! I called Saturday at 3 and asked if they were busy and had a wait. The man on the phone said we aren't busy at all come on in. So I arrived 10 minutes later and all the techs were busy. I waited and waited...finally the man started working on my powder dip manicure (removing the old) and a woman came to do my pedicure. Well every time someone came in the man stopped and went to help them. Eventually he handed me off to another nail tech who had been assisting another customer the whole time I was there yet her nails were not yet complete. Someone came in and asked for a wax so the woman doing my pedicure just stopped to go wax her face. The lady doing my nails then stopped and went back to finish her original customer. By this time I had been there almost 2 hours and my pedicure and nails were not yet complete. The pedicure doesn't look any better than I could have done on my toes and my nails were filed much shorter than I wanted. Every time she left to assist another customer she came back and started filing them all over. There are plenty of other nail salons. Don't waste your time at this one! The massage chairs are uncomfortable and their tools looked dirty, especially the pumice stone. It had yellow stains on it. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now. Tony always gets me right! I always get a basic pedicure with gel polish and I kid you not it last a month. Have visited the salon a few times my first time was pleasant they did a nice job so I returned a second time a different person did my service she was very rough and cut too much off my cuticles her polish job wasn't idea but one of the other ladies fix it so it worked out. My daughter happened to be with me and loved her experience so upon her request we returned. I told the young lady las time she was too rough and not to cut too much. I don't think she understood because yet again she drew blood from my cuticles again. I had already made up my mind not to return when one of the other nail techs walked in and said I'm tried for black girls. That sealed the deal for me. I got my nails done by the owner I believe and it wasn't the best . The nail shape was wrong and coverage of the powder on the nail wasn't great . I was cut multiple times when filing down the acrylic . He made the acrylic too thin and it created bubbles on the nail . When speaking to them and they didn't understand me or I didn't understand them they would catch attitude . I'm not usually one to complain , but they need to do better or inform themselves more on the process of doing people's nails . read more

Didn't see too many reviews, so I decided to try this place out for myself . Now I know why there aren't so many. Went in on a Wednesday when there were only 2 other customers. The tech who worked on my nails was older and seemed to have a hard time seeing all the parts of my nails that she misfiled and didn't paint. After each step in the refill process, I literally had to exam my nails and make sure there was nothing wrong or skipped over. Towards the end I noticed some acrylic lifting- mind you this is the same acrylic she just did for my refill. I pointed this out to her and she tried to paint over this gap! I asked another nail tech to help and she understood what I was saying and began to try and fix the problem. She was also older, so as she attempted to file the nail with the electric tool her hands were extremely shaky and I was so afraid she would cut me . At this point I was ready to leave the salon, raggedy nails and all!! Another tech called me over and re-filed and painted my nails with no problem. Why did I have to go through 3 techs to be satisfied? A 30 minute job(empty salon) turned into a 2 hour ordeal! I will not be going back again. Saving a few bucks at this particular salon will ultimately end up costing you a lot more. read more

Story Time: So today was my first time ever coming to this nail salon, at first everything was going really well and my nails came out really cute.. but when it came time for me to pay, they had a problem with me using my husbands card.. which was the only way I could pay. So I asked them if they had an ATM and the gentleman who worked there pointed to the chase ATM in the parking lot, I gave him my driver license to hold as collateral and for some reason another nail tech asked me for my phone but I politely declined and told her I'd definitely be back for my license because I had no intention of not paying.. but this is where I got very upset.. some customer who had just walked in decided to get involved and make rude disrespectful remarks towards me and I felt like I was being attacked and made a fool of.. I feel like the owner should've intervened and handled the situation like a professional but instead they treated me like someone who was tryna run off without paying.. I admit I made a scene by yelling at the lady but I felt very disrespected and I couldn't believe how rude she was to me.. anyways I went and got money from the chase ATM and still left my nail tech a tip because that was not her fault so I was not going to take it out on her, but I will say that I will NEVER EVER return to this salon. read more

I have been here three times now. The staff is always sweet and friendly. I tend to have the worst luck with ingrown nails and these ladies are the best at nipping them out and not having them return. I have been looking for a place to do this properly for years with no luck. I usually don't get manicures because I chip the polish too quickly. Mani/Pedi turned out nice. I did have to ask them to fix 4 nails that didn't have proper coverage of nail polish due to elderly woman painting nails and clearly couldn't see well. But the gentleman fixed them and throughly checked all my nails. I appreciated that. However, he gave my nails proper coverage of color, but had her put the clear coat on my nails. Which I didn't realized she did the same thing. Now after sitting under the purple UV Light, it shows half that my side edges of nail have no clear coat. Looks bad up close. I Spent almost $100, I treated my Mother-in-law and myself today. This was my first time here. And last. I don't to spend my time telling someone how to do their job. I get mani/pedi's to relax. Walk in deluxe pedicure by Wendy was the best I ever had. She was focused,kind, and I was really able to relax. I will go back.

Went in for a refill and the nail tech did a horrible and sloppy job. She only painted the top of my nails and missed the sides and the polish was not evenly distributed. The acrylic was also badly distributed and dried into the side of my cuticles which are still painful a week later. My nails were so bad that I had to go to another nail salon to get them Re-polished because I didn't trust them to do it again, spending more money than I should I have. Decided to try a new spot for a manicure and pedicure and had a very interesting experience. Walked in greeted nicely and professionally by owner. Was offered every service under the moon. Only agreed to what I came for (mani&pedi)Took a seat in the pedicure chair where service began. My son came in very quiet no bouncing balls, no loud music (not that it should matter). He was greeted by owner with "what did you come in here for". No smile, no can I help you, are you looking for someone. A very dry and cold "what did you come in here for".I understand with everything going on in society many are hypersensitive to these type of situations.YES I did take offense and YES I did express how I felt to the owner and his behavior/words towards my son. I've been to this nail salon a few times. Some brief thoughts... Positives: The shellac manicures were neat and lasted well past the two-week mark. They cleaned up my cuticles without leaving my fingers raw with tiny cuts. The deluxe pedicure was alright. I've definitely had better elsewhere, but it wasn't awful. Negatives: In June 2015, I went in for a basic acrylic French mani. My tech was a middle aged gentleman. (I'm assuming one of the owners or managers.) It was quite sloppy, and I saw lifting within a couple of days on several fingers. The tips were filed unevenly, and the acrylic was not distributed evenly across the nails. So, if you are looking for simple mani/pedis, this isn't an all-around bad place. The employees are generally nice, and the facility is acceptably clean. Just be vigilant of your tech & really ensure they know what they are doing. If you want something super nice or creative, I'd say go elsewhere. read more

Solar Deluxe will not be getting my service ever again. I've gave this place 3 chances and they fail me every time. My first experience was good but 2 nails broke literally within 2 days so I went back on the second day to get them fixed and they had the audacity to try to charge me $15. I went back and forth with them and they eventually made me pay $10 when I shouldn't have paid anything! They argued with me about it being my fault that the nails broke when in reality if nails are 2 days fresh, nothing should be breaking! My second time I was treated with attitude just because I couldn't decide my powder color. I'm also very particular with my nail shape and the nail tech would get upset and have a attitude when I tried to guide her on how to get the shape right. To think I let all of this slide just to come back a THIRD time and have another issue. The third time I came with my youngest sister who is 12 years old just to get a polish change on her toes. Once they took the polish off I noticed one of her toe nails was really dirty and I asked them to clean underneath. They insisted that they could not clean underneath unless she was getting a pedicure and refused to do so unless she got a whole pedicure. After going back and forth I decided to leave and take my money somewhere else. Do you believe they said I had to pay $5 just because they took the polish off! I just agreed and once I got to the register I was informed that they couldn't take a payment on card under $10 and said they had to charge me $6................... this didn't make sense because if you can't take card payments under $10 how are you saying you have to charge me $6????? I didn't argue I just paid the $6 because it was very clear this establishment is only worried about getting money out of people. I took my sister to another nailshop down the street "Tracy #1 Nails" and they did her polish change and cleaned under her toe nails with no issue whatsoever!!! read more
