Stumbling across this nail shop was a happy accident. Initially meaning to go to a different place with a similar name, I stayed due to the amount of good reviews I read online. When I entered I was greeted quickly and waited maybe less than 5 minutes to begin my pedicure and nail refill. Joey was very friendly and made my pedicure very relaxing. It's not often I meet anyone who engages in conversation while providing services so this made me very comfortable. I got an overlay acrylic set on my natural nails and loved the color and requested nail design. I didn't feel rushed and enjoyed my overall experience. I came here after hearing a bunch of hype behind the nail salon seeing that they do good nail art a couple of friends going here since they are healthcare workers for the 20% off discount. I came in for a manicure pedicure. For the manicure, I wanted builder gel with design on a couple of my nails and pedicure. Just a regular gel pedicure Pedicure: if I come back again, it's only exclusively to get a pedicure done and that to a basic gel pedicure. And that's because of the 20% of discount that I can get. Other than that, even the pedicure was suboptimal. The massage was just a lady rubbing her finger around in circles around my foot and a little bit of my ankle. No pressure whatsoever and didn't even massage my calf. On top of that, everyone around me was getting a neck massage after or some sort of back massage. I didn't get anything like that. The pedicure cost for what I get is still pretty expensive including the 20% off discount where I might as well go somewhere else get everything I get for the same exact cost. Manicure: I'm actually embarrassed right now to show my nails off for the next month. I do nails at home so I have somewhat of an idea as to how the quality of the builder gel should look as well as certain nail paint and nail design. I got a cat eye done, and I can see the brush strokes of the nail paint on my nails of the cat eye. I can also see the difference of the layers that she did on my nails. I can see the basic nail paint then I can see on the side of my nail where she didn't cover my entire nail with the cat eye color. On top of that my nails are not rounded evenly. They are all not equal in length. The nail paint isn't even applied evenly. It's applied at an angle so you can tell where it's close to touching my cuticle to where there's a solid gap between my cuticle area and the nail polish. The design isn't even remotely close to what I showed her. When I made the appointment, I asked them to book me with someone who can do nail art because I've had bad experience with nail art not looking remotely close to what I show. They promised they would book me with someone who's experienced. I hate to say this, but I could have done a better nail art job by myself. The cherry on top for me was when I had to apply my own cuticle oil on my own nails. At the end of the day if I ever come back here, it's to get a basic pedicure done with the 20% off discount. They are not good at doing cat eye. I'm not saying this based off of my experience. I'm also saying it based off a couple of friends who got cat eye here and were disappointed. I would say that this would be one of the worst pedicures I have had in many years. They are located in a plaza with plenty of parking so that won't be an issue. When I arrived I was greeted the took my information and I was seated and called within ten minutes. The woman who services me was Vivian. She offered me something to drink but after that everything went down hill. She ran the water for the pedicure but didn't put anything in the water. Normally the put the blue stuff or something else and she stated they had none. Have you ever heard of a pedicure with just water? Then she continued with just the water and started to scrub my feet with the pumice and just water. Again just water? I asked was she gonna use soap she said "I can if you want". I was pretty disappointed and annoyed at this time. When I go to nail shops and have a bad experience I have seen management disagree and side with the employee so I don't want to complain. I've heard of this place by word of mouth and wanted to give it a try as it was conveniently located close to me. I've tried this place twice and the first time was mediocre. Got the job done with a few imperfections. Every nail tech is different so I tried the place again Second time, I was mortified at how bad an experience could be. So mortified, because trying to fix it was beyond repair and I was limited on time. I frequently get my nails done at many salons so I'm not a stranger to processes. However, my nail tech seemed rush as she had another client waiting for her. She cut all my nails too short before even confirming with me. I just accepted it because I wanted all my nail lengths to be even. Her French tip was poorly off centered. The filing the same. I pointed out the fingers that were not even and she only fixed one. She had filed my nails so close to my nail bed, it was impossible to center my shape. And when she was filing my nails at the end, it was so aggressive, she dug into my nail beds which left open wounds that stung for days as my nails tried to recover. I debated even talking about this, but a month later after the experience and my nails are frail and still breaking at the nail beds unable to grow out. I had an unpleasant and awful experience at this location. Considering the hefty price and the prime location (near the medical center), I imagined that their service would be top tier. I had to circle the lot twice before I found a spot. - My nails were botched on both hands. I had Tiffany fix my right hand nail since it was poorly done by Jennifer. She seemed to be IN A RUSH as evidenced by my manicure situation. (Picture attached- apparently it wasn't fixed neatly and I didn't notice this until after I was already in my car) - My poor manicure on my left hand thumb was atrocious. (Pictures attached) I am APPALLED to see that this is the best that this salon can do. - For the price of the Paradise Manicure ($35), you'd assume that it included Paraffin treatment... but it does not. When added to your service, it's $10 extra. Disappointed and Frustrated I had decent experiences during my first few visits--quick service and acceptable quality. However, my most recent appointment was by far the worst I've ever had. I came in for acrylics with gel and chrome, and the results were incredibly disappointing. The gel wasn't even properly applied to the nail, and within just three days, the top layer started peeling off. When I returned to have the issue addressed, I was paired with the same technician, who not only refused to take responsibility but tried to blame me for the damage. I pointed out multiple nails where the gel was lifting or chipping, and she insisted there was nothing wrong. She begrudgingly fixed only three nails and didn't even remove the polish properly to redo them. Now, just days later, the top layer is lifting on the exact nails I had originally flagged--and she refused to fix. This business clearly prioritizes quantity over quality. The lack of accountability, poor attention to detail, and overall laziness are unacceptable. I paid $65 for nails that barely lasted a few days. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for lasting, quality work. Total waste of time, money, and energy. As a healthcare worker, I just take advantage of this. I have been coming here for two years now. I usually just get a pedicure and they do a good job every time and I have no complaints. When I arrive, i give them my name and number and they write it on a ticket. They give you something to drink (bottled water, soda, wine, or juice) once you get seated and you take the ticket to the counter to pay. I use my number for rewards points. I am docking 1 star because this place gets crowded every time and it's not a relaxing type of nail salon. However, they are pretty efficient and usually you are done with your pedicure and foot massage after 40 minutes so they do have fast service if you need to be somewhere after.
