The coordination was terrible, I had the owner give me an estimate but unfortunately he passed away before my move date. I called three times the week before I moved and was assured there would be no problems. Moving day comes and they show up at 9:30 to pack and move a four bedroom house. They were completely unprepared and complained about the large amount of work that needed to be done. They did not finish and had to come back who days later. We told them what to take and what to leave...they packed EVERYTHING while doubling the cost...the bill was $14000.they made our lives a living nightmare!!! The estimate was very reasonable, and with the exception of a box for my new TV which I was offered, exactly as promised. The guys were fantastic! The were on time, and extremely efficient. We had an excellent experience with Glamour movers. Our team lead, Jamie, was awesome, and the team of movers he had with him were very professional, courteous and pleasant to work with - they were very polite and respectful of my wife, my 14 year old son, and all of our pets. I was surprised by how friendly they were - I have worked with other moving companies in the past...but Jamie was there to pick up and drop off our household items, and was very nice - I probably could have just given him the key and come back when he was done lol Our estimate was spot on!! I am getting ready to move from a place I have been 11 years. I called Glamour Told them my house size said it was full. The truck they sent was too small I had to rent my own uhaul to finish. They turned my 45 year old pinball machine sideways broke the top off it. They scratched EVERY piece of fine furniture I have. Complained took pictures called 20 times NO RESPONSE. This is my third commercial use of Glamour. I am continually amazed by the tact, efficiency and care that they utilize with large and hefty jobs. The industrial shelving to repurposed needed to be relocated and seemingly reconstructed at the new site. The "other" movers did not construct the shelves simply rigged them to stand. When this error was brought to my attention - the Glamour team dug in and made the shelving solid and constructed in fine way. Team lead Scott and others were fabulous! Working more like a team - they completed the job and arranged the shelving to perfection - beyond what I had envisioned. They went one more step further and brought two units to another part of the building without question. They explained to be they are local, family oriented and serious of their brand and your job - kudos!!! They are the only movers on my rolodex - oops, I am showing my age. Everyone was pleasant and helpful up until the move was completed , the bill was paid and we found damaged items in the move and requested information on how to submit a claim. Multiple calls to the office have received now return calls or follow up my Glamour ! I am extremely disappointed. After additional extra effort attempting to reach glamour moving responded to the claim damage and compensated us fairly. I will hope this is an isolated incident because of reputation has been strong in the community read more

Worst moving experience ever! Unprofessional. Incompetent after damages reported. It took 3 months to assess damage and it was never resolved. They tried everything to not allow an insurance claim Front office girls are rude. I've never been treated so poorly from any business. It is unfathomable what I went through. Not to mention the price went up after delivery and they attempted to hold my business goods hostage on a separate delivery. read more

First time using a moving company, I was very nervous until my movers arrived, the office staff is very friendly and professional, helped me with all my questions (which I had a lot). The movers went over everything with me before they started which calmed my nerves tremendously! Both office staff and movers were very polite and professional!!! We used Glamour Moving last Friday, 9/7/18. It was close to 100 degrees and humid and the four guys...Scott, Tim, Brady, and Alvaro never stopped. They kept moving and got the job done (on both ends) in as short a time as possible considering all of the things we had accumulated over 25 years. The move went from Westminster, across the Bay Bridge, to southern Delaware...all without a single hitch. As a side note, I didn't think we were going to get a huge armoire up the steps at the new townhouse, but they pulled it off. I could not possibly give them a higher recommendation. These guys were awesome. Scott's crew was fast, friendly, courteous and just great guys. They put down runners not to scuff up my floors. Wrapped items not to dent them, that I hadn't wrapped. They had gotten my stuff out of storage, without me being there. They called to let me know what time they would be at my home, and showed up on time. They let me know there was a problem with the storage door and also let the storage place know it. Very honest group of guys. I can't say enough good things about them. Reasonably priced too. Moving a household is never easy. We had planned our move for months, and had contracted with Glamour Movers based on our realtor's recommendation. The estimate they gave us was very reasonable. Days before the move both my wife and I came down with upper respiratory infections. Everything we had planned to pack and organize for the final week basically didn't happen. Glamour Movers showed up, and took over. They had brought extra boxes and were ready for anything. They packed up in a couple of hours what it would have taken us a couple of evenings to do. Every member of the crew was unfailingly polite, professional, and they worked from the moment they got to our old house until they had unloaded and placed things in our new house some nine hours later. We got an in-person estimate for moving, because we were afraid to trust over-the-phone estimates. Glamour quoted us a little over $1100 for four movers taking about 7.5 hours. Only three movers showed up for the move, they went missing for about 45 minutes (which we were charged for), the hourly cost of each mover was raised for reasons not explained to us, they decided to make two trips to "make it easier on them" which took more time (which they charged us for)...so we ended up at $1470!!! It's one thing to be even 10% off of your quoted estimate, but over 30% off???????? We left the manager or owner a voice mail asking for a call about our concerns with the move...they never called back. read more
