They say pictures speak more than words, so I will provide the images below. For my birthday I wanted a different, new fresh look so I reached out to book a butterfly haircut with face framing. May 2 2025 I went for service, when the so-called hairstylist finish my service, she failed to provide a mirror so I could see the back of my haircut, but I lasted a long time there so I needed to leave. While I was waiting for my ride, I seemed the receptionist and the hairstylist who did my hair talking in a different language, but they both kept looking at me. I stood up and tried to see the back of my hair but since it was partially curled( which was a request I did not ask for it.) I couldn't really tell the horrible job that she had done. I had my boyfriend take a picture once I left the salon. I reached out and let them know the horrible job they did, so they unhappily booked me for the next day made it seem like the other hairstyles were extremely busy and I was being an Inconvenience. The hairstyle that I seen that day told me the girl Who styled my hair didn't even use the right scissors to cut my hair and she agreed my haircut was cut was horrible. She tried to fix it, but obviously could not attached to Hair the other stylist removed so the "fix" is still horrible. I even heard the new hairstyle tell another customer as I was leaving that my hair was ruined by another hairstylist in that salon.I reached out to them, received my refund. I did ask the receptionist why she kept looking at me once my haircut was done. She admitted she was asking my hairstylist. Why was my hair cut "so different" The hairstylist apparently told her that's what I asked for, mind you she seen it was horrible and was the person who booked my appointment when I specifically asked for face framing, butterfly haircut. receptionist didn't provide me a mirror or bothered to take five seconds to ask if I was satisfied with my service. after all this was said and done, my hair is completely ruined. They chopped half of my hair off. The owner never bothered to reach out to me even though she was aware of the situationand the receptionist only advice was I hope your hair grows fast.. I took all the correct steps. I looked for a certified location and had this unfortunate, terrible traumatizing service not to mention it's permanent till my hair grows out. I am writing this review for anyone who does the mistake of going to the website and seen the beautiful work, but the truth is otherwise. Please, please please do not come to this hair salon. It should be shut down. Avoid the emotional damage they cause with a smile. The owner never reached out, even though the receptionist let me know she was aware of my situation. The owner only solution was a manicure which I was appalled, since it had nothing to do with my service, and I denied the free manicure In the fear of what else could go wrong or losing a finger. What made sense to me was maybe 1 of the products in the salon since they had walls full of them but they denied it. The one thing I can say about that location is, they have great teamwork as they all work together to destroy my hair. I just wake up, brush them and I am ready to go. I am really glad I was introduced to this place. They now have another location in midtown. I saw pictures (very luxe) but haven't been there yet. I would really like to try the new technique Nadia now does (powder effect) but it's a bit pricey.

Upon getting there, I tell her im here for the removal and she asks how long i've had my lashes for and i told her two weeks, but i'd like to get them taken off. She takes me to the back and proceeds to take one whole hour to work on me. Halfway in, im asking her if the lashes are coming off and if everythings ok (because it should NOT take this long) and she says mmm ok. The lady finally finishes and gives me a mirror and i realize she did a REFILL on me. I tell her that's not what i wanted, so she calls her manager over who proceeds to try and convince me to keep them on because "they look nice". I said they DO look nice but not what i asked for. The lady finally removes them, and another 30 mins later im done. I head to the front to pay and the manager looks at me and starts laughing, which made me feel insulted as if she thinks i look ugly without lashes on. Then has the audacity to say "oh wow you were here for 1 hour 30 mins" while laughing. I was APPALLED by the unprofessionalism and lack for communication when i told them 4 times what i wanted and even checked on them in between my service. Will NEVER come back and i dont recommend them at all.

And I can't understand what type of stylist will just cut off whatever I'm out of here they want on someone's head I believe she knew what she was doing because if I wanted to cut that much off to begin with, I cut it off in such a small increments where it wasn't noticeable? I didn't say anything in the salon because she had already cut my hair off and I was visibly upset and I had just wanted to leave at that point. Whoever this woman is has cut my hair so short she has a room in the progress that I've been growing my hair in the last four years. The ladies working were friendly and we were waiting for about 15 minutes. A friendly woman washed my daughter's hair and two others started blowing my daughter's very long and wavy hair. I wish I took pictures of what my head looked like leaving the salon vs my wash n gos at home or at my other salon. This is the most I've ever paid for a weave not worth the $375. I have so much to say about this establishment but do not have the time to write such a lengthy post. My ONLY advice is stay clear from this business. Revision: guess who has time today? I initially picked this business because I loved the curls she posted on IG. I have a weaver but she does not style. So I thought let's try something new (HUGE Mistake). I arrived at the salon, everyone was sweet. Then finally got in the chair. Had I followed my instinct I could have avoided this situation. I'm an ageist. I do not like older people doing my hair anyway her mom washed my hair, blow, then braid down. First mistake I disparately need a hair cut my ends were DEAD. She braid dead hair instead of promoting healthy hair growth. As she started the braid down I say the misty but instead of saying something I trusted the process (another mistake). I am the queen of traditional weave. The braid down is the most important. When she started the install I noticed that she didn't cut the weft, no biggie in the back but should be done in the front so that in install can lay flat. I fell asleep for most of the install & by the time she completed & they came with their camera. I knew that I would be displeased. Yet I said nothing. Mistakes that I should have addressed: she didn't leave enough hair out to cover the tracks. The double of the hair in front kept me from putting my hair behind my ears. No one knows how good or bad an install is until they are home or when you walk up in the morning. The videos below are from the morning less than 12 hrs from the install. It was a holiday weekend & the salon would be closed until the following Tuesday. I had to go to a Dominican salon in Harlem to have the install removed, get a hair cut & worn a bob until I could to my orginal weaver. When I called the salon midweek. I sent them video I had made. Nami eventually called me back & took no accountability. Because I took the hair out. She claimed she could have fixed the top. But BS the braid down was the issue. Also I am a social woman to walk around with a weave than looks like a bad wig... is not an option. Her resolution: to GIVE ME 20% off my NEXT install. As IF! So I called Amex because I paid have cash have credit. She's lucky I don't take her to small claims court, cause I'm petty like that. Stay clear of the business if you're black trying to get a weave. She's too expensive & not work the headache. Instead I recommend nynystyle you can find her on IG. She is one of the best weavers in Brooklyn. Cheating on nynystyle cause all this drama. They hold on to the payment and make it impossible to reshedule the service. I called and texted for months to try and reschedule an appointment as they held on to my payment. They simply stopped responding. If you are apprehensive about their ridiculous appointment hold fee, DON'T DO IT. This business is a scam and should do better about how they go about serving customers. Edit: The chargeback was happening before I heard back from you. Either way, there is currently NO CHARGEBACK / DISPUTE and I have reached out repeatedly to try and schedule and no one has responded for nearly 2 months. So your response means nothing. Even now, tell me WHEN I CAN COME IN FOR A SERVICE THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR. Respond with that or don't bother responding.
