I recently went in for a Brazilian bikini wax with Lorena, and it was, without question, one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. From the moment the appointment started, things felt off. She repeatedly opened and closed the treatment room door during my service, which made the experience feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. I'm used to being waxed by Irina, who always takes the time to prep the skin with powder, checks in throughout the appointment, and makes sure I'm as comfortable as possible. This experience was the complete opposite. Lorena was extremely rough and repeatedly pulled wax strips over the same sensitive areas again and again. The pain was unbearable. She apologized several times during the appointment, which made it clear that even she knew something wasn't going well. When I left the salon, I was in significant pain. It genuinely felt like the top layer of skin had been removed in parts of the treated area. I've had Brazilian waxes for years and understand that some discomfort is normal, but this was far beyond anything I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded my confidence in booking with her again. I've also heard from others that this isn't the first time clients have had concerns about her services, which makes my experience even more concerning. I'm sharing this review because I've always had positive experiences at Delaqua Salon and hope management takes this feedback seriously.
