Kim did a phenomenal job of staying in touch, even providing builders info if I needed it. She ended up quoting me 3 or 4 different sizes and worked over the course of 3 months to keep project going. Very professional and helpful. When it came time for install, the guys worked hard and finished in one day instead of two as quoted. We visited Glass Depot about two weeks ago. We asked the lady if we could see samples of glass doors for tubs. She said they did not have samples of tubs with glass doors. We didn't expect a display of a full tub with glass doors. Our statement was to see glass doors for tubs. We asked to see their displays. She said we can walk around, if we like, and hesitated to add, she can take us around, if we like. She was curt, unpleasant, looked unhappy to help us and not hospitable. Needless to say, we didn't stay long. We felt we were imposing on her time. We ended up purchasing glass doors for our two tubs from another company. I wish we knew her name. She didn't introduce herself. She didn't say, good morning. She just looked at us until we initiated the request. We felt uncomfortable even asking. read more

Install in late 2018. Now Feb. 2022. Shower door leaking but they will not fix unless I pay $175.00. They do not stand behind their work. I do not care if it is 3 1/2 years or 15 years, they need to stand behind their work/installs no matter how long. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Be wary. Ridiculous. I called this morning and spoke with the receptionist. I had received a mailer about their company so I called to request a quote for a new shower enclosure and to replace two windows (free and in-home estimates, as stated on the flyer). The receptionist asked if all of the bathroom construction was complete. Our project consists of replacing the shower enclosure with the exact same type of enclosure (nothing about the measurements is changing). We are removing old tile off the shower wall (where fixtures are located, not near the glass) and installing new tile. I was informed that they will not quote anything unless it is all complete, regardless of whatever else is going on in the bathroom. On their site, they list up to a three week wait for glass to be completed. We were hoping to get everything scheduled and ordered so that their team could come in behind the tile guys without adding an additional three weeks to our bathroom repair time. read more

In the past I've been very happy with my dealings with Glass Depot. They did the shower surround in my master bath. I dealt with the owner Ron Stern and others at the company and they were always very helpful. That was several years ago. I don't know whether Ron Stern still owns the company, but today I called them, after sending them an email, and talked to Robin. I was interested in their folding patio doors. I wanted to ask questions like the brand they use, how do they install them to replace an existing sliding glass door, are there issues with brick veneer walls, etc. But all she wanted to do was interrupt me and give me a speech about the limitations of what they do (a contractor needs to have the opening ready for them... whatever that mean.... I couldn't get that information from her) and then she wanted to give me a speech about how I was being difficult. That pretty much ended my current interest in working with Glass Depot. I hope you have better luck. She said she was going to talk to the owner about me. I asked if I could talk to him and she said no, she was going to talk to him. So that was that. read more
