But decided to compare more prices after my dad told me how much he'd paid for a double sleeve ding door and windows. **I tried contacting my sells woman on several occasions. ***i even left messages. She did not respond until the 4th day. Of course the contract couldn't be cancelled after the 3rd day. She then responded to say, "you're under contract with us." This was purposely done. *I'm a %100 disabled veteran and a senior citizen. She gave the story about how they cared for and respected veterans. That may be until it comes to making money. *She also quoted me a several thousand dollar price for a door. My dad's quote for a double door and windows was several thousand dollars cheaper. ***People please be aware!!! They use the , "I can only give you this deal if you sign today." To underhandedly pressure you into making a decision you want to think about. Had a second shower installed. I'm somewhat disappointed. After the install the shower rod was mounted a couple inches to high and too far forward. The curtains are too short and if it was long enough it's outside of the shower area. The cleanup was not great. There was caulk all over the base of the toilet and what ever they put on the floor made it so slick my cane slips and I find it difficult to walk in the bathroom. I ended up having a cleaning lady come in and scrape the caulk off the toilet and rescrub the floor, making it less slick. read more

Be Aware! West Shore Home should be ashamed of itself for taking advantage of a senior citizen trying to make her bathroom safe. My 85-year-old mother just (within a week) had her bathroom remodeled by West Shore Homes. They charged her $20,000.00 for a floor, a fiberglass shower stall without a door, a vanity without shelves, and a toilet! And the material appeared to be prefabricated. Her bathroom is tiny--a 5'x6' space. The footprint is even less for the flooring because it has a sink with a cabinet, a toilet, and a shower. Their work did not include her walls, molding, or a shower door! There is no way they did $20,000.00 worth of work in her bathroom! And for the record, her flooring, plumbing, and electrical were in great shape before the redo. West Shore Home practice may be lawful, but it is unethical. Asked on more than one occasion for contract. The email I originally was sent the attachments now only show the trademark. I called the bank and they are charging more than agreed on I was told I could put only 30 percent down which I did. They charged me over $1500.00 more than agreed on I was over charged even by price agreed on ( that was my fault) . I Agreed because they said lifetime guarantee. Especially since we had to have someone come out multiple times to fix errors and to make corrections. The "salesperson", CHASE, made claims for a $500 reduction in price due to his mistake, but I NEVER got it! Despite making 10-15 calls to the company I was always told my message would be sent to a manager; however, I never heard anything! Not to mention they did a HORRIBLE JOB on the flooring and transition! They also didn't caulk everything like requested! I will NEVER USE THEM & highly recommend NOBODY DOES! I had windows installed February 11, 2025 and it's been an unpleasant experience with company. The sales consultant 'miss spoke' about a Privacy film feature for the windows. My custom blinds of 6 years and arch couldn't fit back into the windows after installation. I contacted WSH customer service, I was told to send pictures at that time my custom blind consultant was here to reinstall my blinds. He spoke to and explained to the West Shore rep what was wrong and why my blinds weren'tfitting back into the windows. I was later told by WSH customer service rep, I should of ordered blinds after the installation of the new windows (I had these blinds for 6 years), and the WSH consultant that sold me the windows had Miss Spoken about the Privacy film feature and no further action on their end would be taken. I'm screwed, I had to order all new blinds and arch. This cost me over $2,000. Not to mention the arch frame is cracked. I paided $18,0008 for these West Shore Home windows there is more framing and less glass inside these windows. I've had a bad experience with this company I donot recommend West Shore Home to anyone. the window installers for this business deserve ten stars for the quality job they do. Management and customer service deserves zero stars. Had 17 windows installed in my home. Three of my windows originally had window ac units in them. After install, my units wouldn't go back in my windows due to sashes not raising up high enough for them to fit. Had I known this before install, would've never bought windows. Contacted project manager, gm, and manufacturer of windows. All three said it was what it was. Not great customer service and no one tried to help with a resolution. Ended up modifying windows to get them to fit. Not worth the money I paid for them due to this issue. Do not buy from here. our sales representative TJ was not very good with poor documentation of details of bathrooms for installers (we had two bathrooms being completed, and there is no documentation for which room at which installation. In addition, they had names for the types of installation and the countertops, etc., that we couldn't remember off the top of her head when installers came. We expected that to already be fully documented from our initial consultation when we picked out each of the items and specified which ones they went to each bathroom)and was not very responsive to questions or follow up. He was an hour late for our first meeting. He didn't tell us the new bathroom counter height was significantly higher than our current & so they had to cut a large piece out of our window frames(and never told us this was being done). We previously ordered new customer windows, that had not been installed yet, so our window installers had to cut the new ones. Installers were a bit sloppy so chipped ceiling, gashed the wall in few spots, left a crack in new baseboard and left silicone all over new glass doors making them look dirty which were unable to remove. When we called in follow up they asked us to text pictures but no one called for details or came to look. They ordered replacements for baseboard which took several weeks. They called after repairs done saying they were gonna send a link for a review. We never received any link. read more

AVOID at all cost, from a former customer. Will never use their services again. Everything is nice and dandy until lifetime warranty is requested because a nasty job done by one of their employees. . Was told labor only cover the first two years and was on the contract. Of course none of this was told when explaining their lifetime warranty. I had to pay for the visit and labor for re-caulking the bathroom. Their products apparently aren't the best quality. Caulking placed about a year ago and was discoloring badly, turning yellow and making an expensive bathroom (I paid good money for it and wasn't cheap) looks like a was done by a person with no knowledge in the matter. read more

Salesmen was pressuring, gave inaccurate information, product is overpriced, poor business practices, and the product is average. Installation has issues and the crew didn't clean up well after the work. The company makes them get the work done in a day even in it should take 2. I had my shower installed in January 2024 by West shore homes. The salesman told us that the shower would not mold and only needed to be sprayed down and the recommended cleaners used. Since then we have had to call three times because there is mold that embeds in the caulking. Each time they've tried to blame it on us, but we haven't used any cleaner that wasn't recommended. We spray our shower down every time after use. The last call I made the lady said well you try drying it after use. Who on Earth dries their entire shower after you use use. She said it works for her showers and she's recommended it for other customers which tells us that this is a problem. So I asked her to speak with somebody in charge because I would like to have a lifetime warranty on the caulk in the shower in riding our lifetime, not their lifetime. She said she couldn't help us with that that her supervisor would have to call us and it's been over 2 weeks and nobody has called which I figured was not going to happen. So now we are sitting and waiting for another appointment to have the caulk all removed and replaced because the mold is embedded and cannot be cleaned out without removing it. I am a disabled vet. The VA paid for $6,800 of this 14,000 plus shower so I have now reported this to the VA that the caulk will mold even though We were told it would not. Don't listen to your salesman if they tell you the showers and baths will not mold. Hopefully my reviews and reporting it to the VA will save anyone else at least disabled vets the same trouble. Also, we use the fans in the bathroom and often keep the window open and the bathroom door open before and after shower. We leave the shower curtain open after the shower so the air can get in and circulate around the shower. read more

Furthermore, this company is shady with their marketing. Update 3/29/2023: I called West Shore Homes twice yesterday to address the shelf issue, on my less than 1 week old redo, and the 1st time I was put on hold for over 30 minutes, not a word from ANYONE, before I hung up and the 2nd time I was told that my newest case (#9) would be passed along to a Service Supervisor, not a CUSTOMER Service Supervisor, as escalated and I would get a callback... that was at 3:15pm and it is going on noon the next day, NOTHING! Customer Care is a JOKE! They OBVIOUSLY don't care! Update 3/28/2023: my redo, not even 1 week in, and the bottom shelf is coming loose?! This will make the 9th service/work order, on our 1 West Shore Homes project, in exactly 2 yrs (which is how long we've had it)! I can't even enjoy a bath/shower anymore! Surprised I'm not PTSDing every wash, at this point?! Update 3/27/2023: I was just asked to give feedback after my most recent service experience and I just wanted to make SURE that my response was received so I am copying it here as well... We had West Shore Homes remodel our out of date tub/shower in our main bathroom almost 2 yrs ago and while it IS better than what we had... I'm not blown away by it. Within just the first year, I had to get someone out here 4-5 times to address issues we were having... isn't a good feeling when you're spending $8,000.00+ on a product or service, even if it is under warranty. Here it is, not even 2 years in, this virgin acrylic, that is supposed to be SO easy to keep clean, has stains that I can't remove, is dingy, gritty and grimy. And now, AGAIN, I am having issues with my water temperature! I have about 7 minutes, if that, to take a warm-hot shower! I will try to inch the knob up to extend my shower but somehow, the water gets COLDER! And my poor Husband, who is usually kind enough to take a shower after me, hasn't had a hot shower in MONTHS! We replaced a heating element in our water heater and paid someone over $100 to come out and check it, just to make sure there were no other issues, there were none. Everywhere else in my house puts out scalding hot water... except the wet area that we pay so much money for, for me and my family to have at least one, fully functioning bathroom for the four of us to use. What was suppose to be a 2 day project ended up being a 5 month project. The day of installation, they chipped the shower wall after they installed it, the flooring looked like our 7 yr old grandchild did it, they got dirt of some kind on our walls in the hallway that we had just painted. The second time they came out to replace the shower walls and replace the flooring that wasn't installed properly, they chipped the back wall and knocked a big hole in the wall. They weren't even going to repair it...just cover it over with the shower tile board. The 3rd time they came out, they replaced the shower walls again but cracked the shower pan. So everything had to be replaced. The 3th time they came out, those guys did a great job getting the shower right. I went in bathroom today to clean up everything and found our brand new mirror had 2 gauges on the shower side of mirror. And our brand new cabinet on the legs and bottom side of cabinet also gauged on the shower side. The inconvenience and having to remove all the bathroom items has been beyond tiring. We paid $24,000.00 for a shower, flooring and toilet. We had just bought a new toilet for that bathroom but they said they couldn't let us use it. This is the absolute worst company and highly overpriced. Do not use this company...the sells people lie to you. Told us they used master plumbers...ha! The first guys told us none of them were master plumbers and not aware of any master plumbers in the company. We also had some friends in another state who got a quote with the exact same shower, flooring and toilet but their price was $10,000.00 cheaper than ours. They found another company to do it for $4,000.00 cheaper. I would never, ever, recommend this company to anyone and will tell everyone who is thinking of remodeling their bathroom to steer clear of this company. Their products are cheaply made for the outrageous and poor workmanship that we have experienced. Check your local marketplace....we found a guy with the exact same shower design as ours for a $1,000.00. Hindsight....If I could give this company thevrating I wanted to...it would be a MINUS 10. Mike Robinson was my predatory Salesman as others here complain about. They hit the nail on the target, when I pushed back on price and bad sales tactics, Mike jumped out of chair yelling at me walking towards me yelling I don't have to do business with you. I struck a nerve with him when I told him I understood exactly what he is doing because I am a Sales rep myself and he was being unethical. Mike lost his temper for being exposed and was in my house raging and said to me if you do not pay now the 11 grand I will leave here and the deal is off the table it will cost you 19 grand. Once again his name is Mike Robinson, he is short tempered and a really large man that wants to intimidate and bully you into giving up your hard-earned money and he will even get aggressive and be in a fighting stance and a rage if he loses his temper. Avoid Mike he is in the Raleigh branch, if you let him into your home, you do not know what he may be capable of. I would suggest all on here complaining about these terrible sales reps, contact the better business B because they do not care unless you do. Had windows installed summer of 2021. Besides being too expensive, which I realize is my first mistake, none of these double hung windows have functioning locks. The windows do not align at top correctly. Without the lock engaging windows slip down from top. I began notifying company soon after of this problem. Multiply promises, explanations, and visit from manager and technicians as yet to resolve this. The only recourse is social media This is a shame, since I am still paying this loan, can't sell my house because of faulty window locks, and frankly I am embarassed since I was the one to agree to the high pressure sales pitch and flashy commercials. read more

Around mid October we had a new shower installed for over 10k. The guys that showed up did a very clean job. A few days later someone stopped by to measure for the glass. We were provided an installation date. I took the day off of work. Unfortunately they called that morning to let me know that they never received the glass. They came back the first week of December with the glass. Again I took off from work. The glass was not cut correctly and could not be installed. Bottom line.... 2 months and 2 vacation days later and no shower. They still haven't called back to schedule the next attempt even after my wife called them. Although the shower looks beautiful what good is it if we can't use it. I wonder if they will call back after seeing this. Doubtful!!! read more
