It has been a while that my license plate has been a bit too loose on my car. I've tried and tried…read moreto get it tightened up, however, it just hasn't worked. So, today, I went through a carwash - you guessed it, the license plate finally came completely off and was completely resistant to everything I tried to get things resolved. I really didn't want to drive around without it attached - even though I was able to retrieve it from the fine folks at Crew - but I was clueless how to resolve it. On the way home from Crew, I stopped at this Fishers location of AutoZone, an auto parts and supplies shot located right next to Pep Boys. There's accessible parking almost directly in front of the store. There's a nice ramp. The manual glass doors were pretty easy. I looked around and figured I was likely looking for a new frame/plate holder and maybe some new screws since everything on my end was rusted. I'll admit this should have been basic, but I hated the idea of spending money without being sure. I finally got up the nerve to ask someone (whose name I never got). He suggested a new frame. I paid. He went above and beyond by helping me get things attached, though ultimately decided a couple new screws were needed. He also helped me with those. By the time I left, my plate was once again securely attached and I was once again on the road with the plate in place. This was simple, of course. But, it was a pretty big deal to me and I definitely needed help with it. AutoZone made my life a lot easier and solved a problem in a matter of minutes for a very fair price. I don't really have a mechanical bone in my body - this wasn't particularly mechanical, however, it definitely didn't go with my skill set. I was grateful for the assistance and for being back on the road. I do wish they'd had some more attractive plate holders, however, I got what I needed and am definitely not complaining. You know that game never have I ever? Well, never have I ever experienced the level of customer…read moreservice that I did here. Every interaction I had with them was above and beyond. I signed up for an estimate for hail damage and showed up to the back building which is behind the car wash. Steve came out to greet me from the car wash office and talked me through the process. I hadn't filed a claim because I thought I could pay out of pocket. He pointed out way more damage than I originally thought I had and advised it was an act of god so my insurance wouldn't go up. He gave me a free car wash for my trouble of driving up there and I went home to call my insurance. I came back up to get the estimate and Steve told me that I should just leave my jeep there because my insurance is fast and I could take their loaner car. Off I went in in the loaner and the estimate came through the same day, insurance approved it by end of business two days later. Steve let me know it was ready to pick up after only two business days. We both realized that my insurance issued the check to them, but to my address. He said if I brought the deductible up to him, I could take my jeep and just run the check back up when it comes in the mail. They cleaned the inside of my jeep and had it run through the car wash again. You'd never know it had hail damage. It's impressive. And, he gave me a card for yet another free car wash when I bring the check back. You want to know where phenomenal customer service has gone? It's all located in this family owned gem of a business. I will send everyone I know here for not only car washes because they also dry it off at the end, but any dent repair that I hear of. They have guys that participate in the hail dent Olympics. Did you know that was a thing? I didn't. They are that good.

So, I know what quality repairs look like and have plenty of experience with PDR vendors. These guys do quality work. . .period. I had two decent sized dents in my left quarter panel and the panel is aluminum which prevents them from applying too much heat to assist in the repair. The finished repair looked great. You would have never known the panel was damaged. They washed and dried my car after they were done which was a nice touch.
