Arrived just before noon needing new tires. At 12:05 I was told 45-60 minutes and quoted a price. Three hour forty minutes later I was presented a bill for the agreed price plus $160. I did agree to add an alignment but in my haste to finally escape I hadn't asked the price. That part is on me. They agreed to split the difference on the alignment cost which was appreciated (which I told them). But, their inability to quote an even remotely accurate time frame and their subsequent indifference to customer service will keep me from ever returning. Great job by Brandon. My college daughter brought her car in for engine running rough. The technician quoted spark plug and coil pack. I elected to do all 4 plugs and coil pacts. Was then told that didn't fix everything and a fuel injector was stuck open and that caused the plug and coil pacts to go bad. Belle tire ordered the part and fixed everything. Manager Brandon called me every step as he understood I was a worried father. Don't think the rest of the staff was as friendly to my daughter though. Feel like they did everything possible to make it right and get my daughter her car back quickly but more importantly running right. read more

Greeeeeedyyyyyyyyyy I had a tire with a nail in it, easy plug. I had the plug kit just didn't have anything to take the nail out so I decided to see if belle tire would do it for me. They refused to plug it said they could only replace it. I've plugged many tires would've taken me 10 minutes if I had pliers. Wouldn't do it for me just wanted the upsell smh ended up at dollar tree got my pliers and plugged the tire. read more

I was given a time frame for my oil change, alignment check and rotation and balance. They nailed it as always.

The one in Muncie wants your money they gave me a quote for $980.00 for suspension work. Parts were $480.00 the rest was labor. I went on line and got the parts for $120.00 and it to about 3 hours to do the job myself. I did pay an additional $175.00 for an alignment check but that wasn't included in there bid anyway. read more

Things have changed tremendously since new management have taken over! I called because check engine light appeared on the dashboard and was told it would be $65.00 just to look at my car, please keep in mind my wife and I have spent $1000.00's of dollars at the Muncie location! The service clerk said the charge was because customer would use the service and go elsewhere to get the work done for cheaper prices! Unreal!!! Service clerk never ask for my number to put in the computer and if had , he would have realized all my business for my automobile went to his company and to top everything off I called another Belle Tire 30 minutes away for service and the clerk there had know idea why a fee was quoted for a light check in the dashboard?! Great company poor management, I'm done with the Muncie location until moves to frontend employees are made!!!! read more

Went in 3-4 weeks ago to Muncie Belle Tire due to front tires being bald after approx 1 year and less than 40,000 miles on tires. Belle Tire told me that they had to order the 2 tires and cost would be approx 100.00 for pro rated warranty and new roadside warranty. Never heard from Belle Tire about tires arriving, went to store to check on tires and was I formed they would have to order tires again, bit they would not be covered by warranty since I was now over the mileage. I went in for tires and was told I should purchase shocks and struts as my car had a high mileage. I went ahead and purchased. They called and said my car was ready. I don't know how the person that backed my car out of the bay and drove it to the parking space thought my car was ready. I picked it up and it rattled and squeaked so loudly. When I took it back I was told the shock mount was broken. Personally I think someone didn't do their job and no one test drove my car before calling me. How could I have a broken shock mount when they were supposed to have attached new shocks?!? Over two thousand dollars and job was horrible. I have a rattle in the front of my car now when it didn't exist before but I will pay a competent team to check it out this time. read more

I would not recommend the one in Muncie. I always used to go to Tire Barn and never had a bad experience but decided to try Belle Tire to save some money. Big mistake. I bought four new tires and paid the $100 to have them put them on. They told me it would take 45 minutes and I had an appointment and was one if the first ones there. After two hours I went up and asked them about my vehicle since I hadn't heard anything for a while. Around an hour before that, one of the technicians came and got me and said I would have to get a new rim because if I didn't the rim would mess up my tire. He said I need all new lugnuts. When i went there I had 20 lugnuts and when I left I had two broken studs and 18 lugnuts. I showed my boyfriend when I got home and he was ticked and called them and they wouldnt admit their wrongdoing and refused to fix it. My boyfriend even told them about how my old lugnuts were placed in a box by the technician which proved I came in with 20 but the person he spoke with didn't care and refused to do anything. my boyfriend put two lugnuts on the studs himself even though they are broken but they still fit fine. I will make sure to go to Tire Barn like I used to when I need new tires again. i guess you get what you pay for. read more

I agree with a few of the other reviews that this is a very busy location and seems pretty disorganized. My experience with the desk personnel was pleasant, but you really have to make sure you don't get lost and disregarded. I went in to purchase one tire and after leaving there was a lot of vibration so I took the car back and they said I may have hit a pothole and did some light damage to the tire, which I could not argue. I had hit a pothole here in Muncie. They suggested that I let them send the rim to be straightened out. I had to leave the car overnight Wednesday it was going to be back by Friday morning. I called around noon friday to see if the car was ready and learned that they have not even begun to work on it where they sent it out. I was then told they would not be able to have my rim back until the following Monday! I was scheduled to drive back to Georgia that sunday! Plus I was scheduled to get a battery installed at the Mercedes dealership which was not going to be open on Saturday. Had it not been for Eric intervening and his willingness to send someone to pick up my rim (which was out of the city) AND agreeing to get my car to the Mercedes dealership for a battery, I would've been delayed two days and missed an important meeting in Georgia. Eric was extremely considerate!!!! The service guy that I initially talked to offered no help, He basically left me feeling I was SOL! But Eric did deliver on his commitment and I did get my vehicle in time to leave as scheduled. I agree the tires were a little dirty and did not have the right amount of air put in them but that's OK I'll handle those details. I pray the workmanship is Good. A lot seem to be going on when I picked up the car. I'm just grateful that Eric went over and beyond to help me with the situation. Thank you again Eric! read more

Not reliable. Did not keep up on their promise. I scheduled an appointment for a routine tire alignment at Belle Tire in Muncie on Monday January 17th. The quote was $100.00 for the alignment alone which is all I wanted. The only available appointment slot they had was at 7:00 pm which was fine because I have to work and don't get off until 5 pm. Monday the 17th arrived and I was leaving work to go to my appointment at 6:15pm I receive a call from Belle Tire informing me that the "guy" that does their tire alignments called in that day and they wouldn't be able to get me in. Very disappointing that they had all day to call and inform me and I didn't receive a call until 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. The employee on the phone apologized and asked if I could bring in my car another day and he would give me a discount. I wasn't sure because of my work schedule but agreed to come in the next day at 1pm despite what I had planned. I was willing to do this because he offered a discount on the alignment. I arrive the next day at 1pm for my rescheduled appointment and informed the employee at the desk of the situation that occurred the night before and that my appointment was rescheduled. An associate overheard and confirmed he was the employee I talked to the night before and he explained that he told me he would give me a discount because of the mistake. In agreement they took my keys and performed the alignment. When I was called to the desk they told me my car was all finished. Then he told me instead of the discount they would give me a one year warranty on the tire alignment (THUMBS DOWN) which I won't even need (and they know that). This is not a discount and I would not have came to their establishment if we weren't going to give me the discount and honor their promise. Long story short I was played and they didn't do my alignment when it was scheduled and didn't give me a discount. 2/10 would not not recommend. I will NEVER go back to the Muncie store. Took my daughter's car for a tire and front end alignment. They called me and said car was ready and I said wow that was fast and guy said we try to be. I get there to get the car and they charge me $205 for tire and alignment and I pay them. I asked if alignment had the one year warranty and he looks at the paperwork and says yes. I noticed writing on the paperwork about tie rods and asked him what it said and he says I don't know then looks at it and says oh we didn't do the alignment so I need to refund your money. So, if I hadn't noticed that writing on the paperwork then I would have been screwed out of my money for a repair that wasn't done and the person that called me and told me my car was ready didn't bother to tell me they couldn't do the alignment and why. Very unprofessional and rude. I will take my business elsewhere. Also, the paperwork said car needed tie rods replaced but I just had those done about 2 months ago. read more

I took my Terrain in for an oil change and tire rotation on 6-12-2019. I discovered that two of my tire rims have been damaged by the tools used and the drivers side wheel well has marks on it from the tools they used. Oil change was way too costly ( over 70)when I can go to the dealership a lot cheaper. (40) and they use the same materials. Very unhappy. This is the second time that we have had a bad experience there. We will not be going back. read more

Unfortunately after several back and forth calls on quotes I did not get exactly what I requested. I called and spoke to whom ever answered the phone. I advised I had a quote on line for xxx tires and xxx wheels. They took my number and the manager was prompt in contacting me back. We spoke he used his active listening skills in repeating the products I requested. He called back a short time later advising that the wheels were not in stock would I like to possible look at another set. Of course I agreed open minded pending on cost. He called back after looking at his inventory, tada he has a set and will send me a text of what they look like. If I like them he will give them to me at cost. "Verbatim" I was agreeable. Reviewed the total cost of $X.XXX at no time was I informed of a different price then what was agreed on. Spoke to the assistant manager upon calling back since I didn't get the text. He had no knowledge of the conversation nor was there notes on the account. He had to call the manager which had left for the next 4 days. Assistant manager called me back with the model of the wheels I looked them up and they were fine. I go in to get the rims I was shown which I was told would be at cost, and the tires that I requested. That's not what I got. I did not get the tires I requested, nor was I informed that a different brand was being placed on my car. I did get a lower rate on the sensors that needed replaced as well as an alignment. Which yes I appreciate. Once my car was finished I paid. I didn't even notice that the tires were not the ones I requested. Nor did I notice the Difference in my bill. Don't even ask how you don't notice a 200+ difference. I called back the very next day as when I noticed all the differences they were closed. Of course I had to speak to the manager as if you recall the assistant manager had no knowledge of the conversation I had with the manager. I did get a we didn't forget about you call 2 days later advising that the manager would be back on Tuesday. I waited, trying to be understanding. I did not receive a call back from the manager in regards to the situation. I called Friday. I spoke to him, and that's when we start back peddling. He didn't recall the entire conversation the agreed quote we talked about was an $83.00 difference, when I asked about the wheels being at full price he didn't have anything to say. When I mentioned the tires not being the ones I requested he stated that he didn't have the ones I wanted in stock. That he got me something comparable. He asked if I had the online quote and if I could text it to him. He would look at it from what he sees he may have over charged me. He would review and call me back. I have yet to hear from this man. I'm pretty sure that this is a life lesson on my part. Next time pay very close attention to what is being done or put on your car and of course price. Honestly if all was communicated to me I wouldn't be writing this. For the simple fact I truly feel taken advantage of. Will not go back to this location ever. I will go out of my way even if its an hour or more for the next 3 years due to the extra warranty I purchased. Incredibly arrogant and completely unapologetic when mistakes are made. My sister in-law and I carpool to Indy for work. On the way this week her car started malfunctioning so we turned around and took it here. They got it in and fixed it within the day charging about $400. The next day the same problem arrises. We took it back and they said they'd get it in within 3 hours or so and call. My sister in-law and I had work and if she gets a call on her cell phone she can lose her job. We left my husbands number with explicit instructions to call him; they didn't. They called her on her phone which she keeps on in case a chronically ill relative needs help. Then when my husband and I went and picked up her car cause she was at work, long after the promised duration, the representative had the arrogance to imply that it was her fault he called her at work. He treated us like children saying that like he tells his kids when they're at school and they get in trouble with their phones she should have kept her phone off. We're both graduates with professional jobs and in our early 30's; we're paying customers not misbehaving high school students. - He said all the child spiel looking me in the eye but was silent and respectful when talking to my husband, I though he was more aggressive towards me and it felt sexist. To top all this off they charged us full price for the additional repair and never admitted any error in missing the real issue that caused the car to malfunction. The man we dealt with was, by our understanding a manger, as others consulted him at times in our interaction. I'm disgusted with the incompetence at diagnosing the issue, an inability to honor the timeframe they gave by a reasonable degree, and the arrogant unapologetic treatment topped by sexism. I would not go here again as this was an awful experience. Maybe if all you're getting is tires they'd be better but I still think they'd be arrogant and sexist so if you don't mind that this place might be great. read more
