First of all like to say that I like Safelite corporation, but the store in Anderson, Indiana is absolutely terrible. I had it installation a couple weeks ago that the driver showed up and the first thing he said was we do not work on lifted Ford trucks, I explained to him that that is not true. Now I've had the window replaced in the same truck another time by Safelite. He was absolutely rude and hung up on me and called his boss Dan the manager. The installer called back a couple minutes later and said that he was wrong and he would work on the truck. I had two pod lights that were already installed. When I bought the truck. The installer insisted that they removed and tried to remove them. When I got downstairs, he had both bolts loosened and one was cracked off. Safelight has never ever had to takeoff my pod lights to put my windshield on. There was damage to my truck, installer could care less and did the job. I called Dan the manager, and explain the situation. Dan the manager never said sorry for the damage. Dan the manager sent me a text to take it to a dealership and he would have it fixed. The dealership explained that they would have to drill out the screw in a plastic housing. The dealership tried to drill the screw and broke the plastic housing, causing more damage to my truck and my mirror needed to be removed and replaced. As soon as the dealership contacted Dan the manager, he said he's not paying for it and hung up. The bill was over $2700. Dan the manager sent over a email refusing to pay for it and blamed the dealership. When myself and the dealership tried to call Dan the manager back, he would not answer the phone. Dan the manager over at Anderson store is a complete liar, unprofessional. I finally had to call Safelight Corporate offices and the eventually took care of the bill. Stay away from Safelight Anderson location. Total unprofessional people. Watch out for Dan the manager he's a total jerk. See pics below. read more

They did a good job replacing my windshield but REFUSED to add my AAA discount (10%) to the final bill. I showed them my AAA membership card, the AAA website, and the Safelite website where it clearly states the 10% discount and the manager still refused to add it to my service bill. read more

RIDICULOUSLY awful service - Anderson, IN Safelite location We had a small crack in our windshield (lower left side), and Safelite sent out a tech (very nice guy). He told us that he "patched" it, and that the PATCH had a lifetime guarantee (meaning it wasn't fixed, but wouldn't get worse), and if it did get worse, they would fix it at no charge. The crack is MUCH worse 2 days later, and this location refuses to refund my money. In addition, they are incredibly rude to deal with, and a total nickel-dime operation AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I am now filing a complaint against them, and my credit card company will resolve this for me. read more

Unfortunately like others I too did not get any work done. I had an 8-12 appointment. The technician calls me at 8:30 and tells me he won't be hear until 4:00pm. I tell him that won't work. He tells me the manager will call to set up another appointment. The manager calls and instead of doing any sort service recovery starts blaming the problem on my and my need of an AM appointment. He keeps going on about this to the point where I finally had to tell him that that wasn't my problem, and if they don't have the availability they shouldn't offer the time. He then pretty much tells me he's sorry and hangs up. The manager's response to this issue does not give me much confidence in their ability to provide service. Look elsewhere. read more

The windshield was replaced as scheduled. And in much less time than we anticipated (2-3 hours). Alas, now my wiper fluid only sprays on the passenger side. This was not a problem before we took the car in for windshield repair. I'll gladly change to 5 stars once this is resolved. read more

My windshield caught some rock debris on the interstate. It caused a chip that I didn't want to get any worse with the cold weather. After calling my insurance, Safe Lite called me right away. I was able to schedule the repair within a few days. The techs were very nice, explained the process, and treated my car with care. I would definitely use them again if I need to. I would give 0 stars if I could. They "didn't notice" a rust spot near the windshield before they took the old one out And therefore could not install a new windshield. They then refused to put the old windshield back in, leaving my 56 year old father, who is in poor health already, to drive over 30 miles home with no windshield in the poorinng rain. read more

Sadly I cannot speak to how well the work is done because they didn't do the work! I scheduled TWO windshields to be replace online for the first appoint I could get ( a week out) they called the a few hours before the appointment to reschedule both of my vehicles for the next available date...A WEEK FROM THAT DAY! When I asked what the issue was the lady said that "maybe someone called off work today?" I had already rearranged family transportation so that the cars could both be in the same place for the appointments. read more

They set me up for a Saturday for a repair, then he was overbooked and had to cancel. Set up for Monday morning and the appointment was not even set. All a lie, DO NOT GO HERE!!! Today I contacted my insurance company concerning a broken windshield. They recommended Safelite AutoGlass on MLK and put me through to them. While talking with their sales person I was told "Now you have $500 deductible and the price to replace your windshield will be $457.00 so you might as well not even file a claim." I agreed with him concerning filing a claim but said that I'd get back to him. To which he replied "Now if you have to call back your price might increase." I asked him how could that be and was told that they "might need an extra part or trim. ". I asked how would that part not be needed with today's price?" To which all he could do was stammer and say "Well I guess it's good for 5 days." I told him I'd call him back. The very first place I called offered to replace my windshield at my house for nearly $200 LESS and had a higher rating! It seemed to me that this company or person was only trying to pressure a senior citizen into making a costly quick decision. If I were you I'd certainly check pricing elsewhere and I'll never be back! My wife and I are on a fixed income and can't afford to be bilked out of hundreds of dollars. read more
