When you enter, you'll be asked if you were here for the bar or the lounge. The bar is the speakeasy hidden bar in the back that is behind a bookcase. The lounge is the hookah lounge that you see when you enter. The hookah lounge only serves nonalcoholic drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But with a great ambience, you can just hang and smoke and talk the night away while having sips of liquid refreshment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you want an alcoholic drink or feel a little peckish, make your way back to the hidden bar where you can have some fantastic, cocktails, and delicious nibbles. Parking can be a little tough, but I found parking on the residential street around the corner. There is only one restroom: a unisex single room. So don't hold it for too long if it's busy... Hours are incorrect, phone system and online says 6pm open, got there and their sign says they open at 7. Left & got dessert came back at 7pm and they were still in the processes of opening. Came in and sat down and they said their hookah guy was running 1 to 2 hours late. So not only were hours incorrect, they weren't even ready for patrons at their correct time. Such a bummer for date night! read more

Smh this used to be a great space however now they are over charging like crazy $30 for 1 basic cocktail and the gratuity is not included in insane and a scam I've been to some incredibly nice spaces and have only paid $25 tops for a beautiful cocktail there not much variety or excitement incredibly unsatisfied. read more

Overall, I had a bad experience and just lousy service. I would not recommend this place to anyone in LA. 1) There was only one bartender, and it took too long to get a simple Red Bull. There were too many people wanting over 10 minutes just to buy a drink. 2) It took 45 minutes to get our hookah, which was not up to par, and 25 minutes to get the right equipment. 3) The Manager and the owner never even gave us a discount for our troubles--just a few apologies and the expectation of full payment. 4) Due to the lack of Leadership and direction, it took too long to address simple concerns. 5) Lastly the hookah wasn't even worth the 200 dollars, we paid to have fun. read more

Good news: The hostess and my server were super cute and friendly.The place is well ventilated and decorated. I liked sitting in the throne lounge chair and smoking the Gwagon (lemon mint and white peach) that my server recommended. You can also peacefully watch a game here like you're the caterpillar from Alice and Wonderland! Bad news: The lowest cost for a hookah is 44.99 but with the service charge and tip it will actually come to around 70 which seems a tad extreme especially if you are flying solo. I would have liked for the full price to have been more transparent. I wasn't too crazy about the metal gates over the windows. read more

As much as i think this place is cute and I love hookah i can't give a good review. It took about 40 mins to get our server to take our order and another 30 just to get the hookah. That's all we got, 1 hookah and water for a party of 4. I expressed how annoyed I was and the server apologized but i like to give the benefit of the doubt at least once. Once we got the bill the server said "I removed the water off the bill, that's all i could do" excuse me??? We have to pay just for water too?? They do bring the water in a Voss bottle but i can clearly see the server fill up that container with water from the sink from where I was sitting.... This place is just ridiculous. Who chargers for water?!? read more

My friend and I came here to celebrate our birthday, first off there was a language barrier with the guy that set up our hookahs, we tried to explain to him that one of the hookahs didn't work he kept telling us to pinch the hose .. why should we have to pinch the hose for the hookah to work properly? Next I ordered a tea from the waitress instead of her handing me my tea she sat it on the other side of the hookah which resulted in me getting brunt on my arm. There was one person taking orders, I guess they were short staffed. In all it was a waste of time coming here. read more

Came here the other day with my wife we've been smoking hookah for 15 - 16 years and we know our hookah. We came to this lounge since it was on the way back from our dinner. The place is nice with a cool laid back vibe. Hookah rating 2 or 3 out of 5. In the beginning the hookah was great but burnt out within 15 or 20 minutes. Service 3 out 5 there really isn't much attention being put to the customers. I would rate it as a 2 but I don't know if they are busy at the bar end of the place as well. read more

Been a here a few times and although expensive, I enjoyed the music and vibe. Fast forward to tonight and that all changed. This place usually plays hip hop / rap music which I love and that's always what they play. Tonight I walk in and they are blasting country music. I thought maybe it was just one song and they would go back to what they normally play. I was wrong. They played country music non stop and making it louder each song which was miserable for us. I asked the waitress nicely what was going on and she mentioned the owners were here and playing their own music. I get it, it's your place and you can do what you want but don't come in and go against what your business is known for and let down customers. After 10 more minutes I asked the waitress nicely will you please let the owners know we came here for what you normally play and she said she would not. She didn't even seem to care 1%. I immediately ask for the check. $60 with 18% service charge (which is not a tip). I was looking forward to coming here all night and was severely let down. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else read more

It was my first time coming here on Saturday night and I'm never coming back again horrible. As soon as I put my tip in the hose and started to inhale a bug came in my mouth and I spit that out right away. It was alive!! One of the workers had the nerves to say " You sure that came in your mouth?" Clearly it's on camera & I have a witness. How can you be rude to your customers & assume that quick. Clearly y'all didn't clean the hose correctly. He then apologized a couple mins later. Never in my life has that happened before. read more

I came here one night with friends who obviously wanted Hookah. We were visiting from NYC. We arrived around 8 PM & the place was not crowded. We saw a rope outside that was meant to maintain a line, but the host was not outside. Therefore, like any normal person we stepped inside & waited for someone to come seat us. The male host was unprofessional & made a snarky comment regarding the purpose of the rope outside was for people to wait there until an employee arrives -- mind you, due to the placement of the line and the door, you can't see from inside if anyone is waiting outside to be let in. If you are going to be host / hostess at least be welcoming as if you are inviting people into your home. The lack of professionalism was extremely evident. Our server was great - all of the ladies were very kind. However, you could definitely tell that the "head honcho" was not everyone's favorite. Per my friends -- the hookah was great though. I would just recommend a more welcoming atmosphere or just spend your Hookah coins where you feel welcomed! read more

A professional would have said "I apologize, where would you prefer to sit? I see you made a reservation, are celebrating an event and we had some unexpected guests for seating options." This place takes care of the hookah like no other place I've been too. Incredible service. 1. Hookah- I've ordered many of the house mixes( agent bulka, g-wagon, ez-breezy and summertime) each flavor tasting better than the last. The hookah is fresh and clean, also, the hookah lasts forever! I didn't feel that it was too harsh, just about right. 2. Service- excellent, staff is very very friendly and caring. We were served within 2 minutes of being sat down. The server Sofia was very attentive and had our order down very fast. The hookah arrived within 15 minutes and the drinks took around 3-5 minutes, great timing especially on a busy Sunday night. The hookah guy Nikita constantly asked us how the hookah was and was changing the charcoal as needed without being asked. 3. Food/drinks- food was reasonably priced. We ordered the lamb sliders and the Wagyu burger, each arrived hot and fresh. Drinks were great! The hot cocoa is a must have as well as the peach green tea. Recommend the food. 4.Parking- we arrived at 12am, wasn't hard to find parking, free in the back lot. Overall, the hookah was extraordinary, service was perfect. The place is a very refreshing change from the other hookah lounges in Los Angeles. Brings a classy taste to hookah! Will recommend to all my friends!! read more

I came in here with high hopes of finally being able to smoke a glass fumo hookah. I was not disappointed. As soon as i walked in i was greeted and sat at a nice table. The chairs were like single couch throne chairs and was very comfortable. I ordered 2 hookahs for me and my girl and water and hot water with mint. within about 5 minutes our drinks came out and another 10 minutes our hookah came out. The server (Sofia) was very nice and started the hookah for us. I let her know I was ready to order food. We ordered the Shirazi Salad, Fries, and a Hummus Plate. The Fries were amazing. They were made with no oil and were baked to perfection. I always ask because i don't like my food to be flavored with oil. The salad was very good and the hummus was good. I especially liked the Pita chips it came with. My compliments to the Chef. The server came to us frequently and asked if we were doing okay and how the food was. She is very nice. She even offered to take a picture of us without us asking. The hookah guy was amazing too. He came around very often to change the coals for us. Amazing experience. I've been to many different hookah lounges, but I can positively say that Glass Lounge takes the whole concept of hookah to a whole other level. It's the only hookah lounge that offers all fumo hookahs at a more than reasonable price. They offer many flavors, which is great for someone who's indecisive. My personal favorite was their house blend. The best part about the fumo's is the fact that it goes in smooth and hardly ever gets harsh. Apart from the hookah, their dessert menu is a chocolate lovers dream. I have a huge sweet tooth and am a avid coffee drinker so I love that I can enjoy a delightful dessert and have my latte paired with my hookah. I highly recommend the Coppa Pistachio and the Coppa 3 chocolates. Overall, I've been to Glass a few times now and each time my experience has been great. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is caring and extremely helpful. I don't know what more anyone can ask for. Definitely on the top of my list of favorite "go-to" spots in LA. If it was up to me they would receive no stars at all. I was beyond disappointed with this place. If you want to eat you have to sit outside in the cold. Inside is for smoking Hookah only. If you want a drink he have to go downstairs to the bar. Nothing made sense. On top of that clearly they do not get that many people coming in because our table of 9 was to much for the server and the cook. It took them like 20 minutes to bring out tea. As for the food it took forever to bring out burgers and gyros sandwiches. At one point the manager came up to our table and said we apologize but it will take another 10 minutes for the food to come out (which was a lie). He said that for this inconvenience he would take a few things of our bill. At that point one person cancelled their order. After a few minutes everyone else cancelled and we asked for the check. To our surprise they took $7 off for the inconvenience but charged us $12 for service charge. I would never go back and I will let all of my friends know not to go there either. This place had the worst service ever. read more

She took it back and ended up charging us for the hookah that was never used. No literally caught on fire!! Check came and she charged more than what the actually prices on the menu were! There was no itemized receipt so when they take your card when u get there they charged us extra! When we asked for an itemized receipt she said she's too busy I have to wait! And ignored our table! Finally, I have visited glass hookah lounge, the lady who took care of us was really helpful. First she offer us great selection of drinks, then she recommended specials which are not on the menu yet. I choice the asada fries which is BOMB it comes with a steak and side of guacamole. Then the hookah guys made the best hookah i have ever smoked the Aston Martin mix!!!! Thanks Nikita! I got new coals every 10 minutes and the hookah was not even burnt it was very smooth and tasty. Came here on a late Saturday night. I'm a manager at a hookah lounge in riverside so I know a little something about hookah. Have to say I was very Impressed. Place was very professional and classy. I ordered cane mint hookah and it hit solid. Service was ok. The reason for a 4 star rating I instead of 5 was because the music was low, and the way the charge is quite confusing and they got give rings with the hookah which really bothers me. Why I think it is a bit off is that the service is kinda hit or miss but more imporantly on the bill they charge a tip which is fine I have no problem with that but then they expect another tip. The sign clearly says $12 flat rate, but when we were leaving, the valet suddenly asked for $20, claiming our specific parking spot cost more even though we parked the car ourselves and were never told this beforehand. Overall, poor service and a very unprofessional experience. Definitely wouldn't come back
