Very disappointing experience. Their advertisement clearly stated Hookah Happy Hour from 5-8 PM. We arrived at approximately 7:40 PM, but they refused to honor it, saying we had to leave by 8 PM. Nowhere on the advertisement did it say customers had to leave by 8. I attached the advertisement so you can see the wording yourself. Even worse, we were never presented with an itemized bill before paying. I specifically asked the server whether a service charge was already included and was told NO. We paid, and only afterward received a copy of the paid bill. When I reviewed it at home, I discovered they had actually added a 20% service charge and that multiple items were charged at higher prices than what was listed on the menu. I have attached both the menu and paid receipt for comparison. I have been calling them since discovering the discrepancies, but they are not answering my calls. There were also four people at our table and they brought only three pieces of bread. When we questioned it, they finally brought another one. Come on -- I have never seen anything like that. Most concerning, we were actually asked whether we wanted to pay cash so they wouldn't charge us tax. I'm simply stating exactly what was said to us and letting customers and the appropriate authorities draw their own conclusions. To summarize: * Happy Hour advertised 5-8 PM, but refused at 7:40 PM * No disclosure stating we had to leave by 8 PM * No itemized bill shown before payment * Menu prices did not match what we were charged * 20% service charge added after I specifically asked and was told there was NO service charge * We only discovered the overcharges after reviewing the paid receipt at home * Asked if we wanted to pay cash to avoid being charged tax * Four guests, but only three breads until we complained * Multiple calls afterward have gone unanswered I attached the Happy Hour advertisement, menu, and paid receipt so everyone can see the documentation and make their own judgment.

Went there during their soft opening period at 3am. I was happy to see someone replace the previous business which I loved because they stayed open past 4am. I was greeted by one of the partners and after browsing the menu a bit he just said to forget about it and asked me what were some ingredients that I liked. I few minutes later he presented me with a delicious combination of ingredients on my perfectly cooked pizza. It had an exotic flavor that I really liked and there were sesame seed sprinkles on it which I'd never had. They kept the hookah smoking balcony and did a nice job with the remodel inside and out.

I contacted the owner through Instagram, and he was so nice and helpful from the beginning. He arranged everything perfectly for us. We brought our own cake and balloons, and everything turned out amazing. The service was excellent, the food and appetizers were delicious, the drinks were great, and the prices were very reasonable. The view is absolutely beautiful! We also loved the music, DJ, and dancer. The whole atmosphere was so much fun and made my birthday celebration very special. Thank you to the owner and the entire team for taking such great care of us. We had an amazing night! I highly recommend Yamashisha and will definitely be back!

She said no, I asked again are you sure she says NO. I couldn't check the machine because before she handed to me she went all the way to the tip scree that said additional tip. I was like this SHADY af. I asked for a receipt and she said printer broken. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. So I grabbed the machine back and put my number in to get the receipt texted to me. Low and behold 22% tip and she charged us for water when I asked for tap water. I go back to her and show her the receipt and she is like oh I don't know what that is. I have never seen that before. Pleassseeeeee What a scam artist, she probably has done that to everyone there but everyone there is on a date and no one wants to be embarassed. Well IDGAF. She offered to give cash back and not tell her boss. Honestly he probably knows. Never going back. Ive been here 8 times. EVERYONE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!

My cousin and I didn't eat too much, we shared a gyro and fries, but that was enough for me to know the food here is GOOD. I immediately noticed the gyro had a little more of a Middle Eastern flavor profile than what I typically expect from a Greek restaurant, and after chatting with the owner and learning he's Lebanese, it all made sense. And I was absolutely not disappointed. The gyro was flavorful, delicious, and exactly what we needed after a night of music. The owner was also incredibly sweet and generous. He surprised us with knafeh on the house, and it was SO yummy! Warm, sweet, creamy, crunchy, just delicious. Such a thoughtful gesture and honestly the perfect ending to an already awesome night. Great food, wonderful hospitality, and the kind of unexpected experience that makes you want to come back and try more of the menu.

I ordered my favorite item which is the chicken shawarma with fries. The wrap was a decent size and the flavor was pretty good but I would've preferred some garlic sauce or hummus for more flavoring. They should update their regular cut fries to steak fries which are usually better tasting with this meal, but the fries were not super hot.

What a great kick off! As for our mains, we both ordered a variation of the combo plates. I had the chicken tawook and beef. The Mrs. had the chicken and lamb. All good. Based on the food alone, we would recommend this place to anyone with a beating heart and more importantly, a mouth. This is quality food at a quality price. The atmosphere? Really great. It's a little dark and twinkly inside which sets a nice tone. There is cool artwork adorning every piece of wall, the place is very easy on the eyes...including the restrooms. Very clean. Our sever, didn't catch his name, but what a nice dude. Was super helpful without being "too much" he should teach a server class. He's pretty much who you want taking care of your table. He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. It was actually refreshing. We will come back, most likely with the family. Our waiter told us that they can accommodate larger groups which is great. I recently ate food at Saffy's and I didn't enjoy it one bit. The servings there are too small, too pretentious and too overpriced. Open Sesame is the exact opposite and that's why it rules. A wonderful experience in Beverly Boulevard.

I do not usually make the drive out to K-Town, but since tickets were only $10.20 per person, we figured it would be worth checking out. Even though I don't really know much about Invincible, I still had a lot of fun. The space is completely transformed with different scenes from the show and there are plenty of photo ops whether you're a fan or just tagging along like I was. It definitely felt more immersive than I expected. The food and drinks are on the pricey side, so we shared a few items instead of each ordering our own: We tried the Monster Girl Matcha, which came in one of the collectible bottles ($20) my friend wanted. The drink itself was okay; not bad, but not my favorite matcha beverage. We also ordered the Invincible Power Wrap ($15), which tasted good but was honestly much smaller than I expected for the price. My favorite thing we tried was definitely Atom Eve's Energy Acai Bowl ($9). I love acai bowls and this one was refreshing with dragonfruit, strawberries, lychee, coconut flakes, and granola. I would order that again. We also shared the Viltrumite Training Cookies ($9). They were basically buttery sugar cookies but came in a pack of 3. Parking was probably the only annoying part. The shopping center seemed to only have valet, so I ended up finding free street parking in the neighborhood and walking about 10 minutes. One thing I thought was really cool was that the employees told us they completely change the theme every few months. They have done collaborations with Godzilla, Final Fantasy VII, and Arcane. Overall, I had a really good time, even as someone who is not familiar with Invincible. If you are a fan of the show and like experiential dining experiences, I would say come check it out.
