Went there during their soft opening period at 3am. I was happy to see someone replace the previous business which I loved because they stayed open past 4am. I was greeted by one of the partners and after browsing the menu a bit he just said to forget about it and asked me what were some ingredients that I liked. I few minutes later he presented me with a delicious combination of ingredients on my perfectly cooked pizza. It had an exotic flavor that I really liked and there were sesame seed sprinkles on it which I'd never had. They kept the hookah smoking balcony and did a nice job with the remodel inside and out.

Good hookah and really tasty pizza. The French fries were also solid. The only downside is parking -- it's very hard to find a spot since the area is always busy. Overall, a good experience!

When the hipsters were walking out of the WeHo Pride festivities on Saturday night, they were all jamming into either Shake Shack or Barney's Beanery. Predictable choices, of course, but Jamie W. and I were looking to avoid the crowds and found this family-run Middle Eastern restaurant right on the corner of La Cienega and Santa Monica. Except for one party of five, it was empty. Probably because they have a hookah lounge, they're open until 5AM every night, a factoid that might be helpful for some future night of debauchery. It was only around 9PM when we showed up, and we were warmly greeted by the female owner. We immediately went for the $8.50 Lentil Soup which was richly thick with chickpeas and a pat of butter (photo: https://bit.ly/454veea). That was genuine homestyle comfort food. We could've had another bowl easily. Instead we both ordered wraps for our entrees. Jamie ordered the $17.99 Beef Kabob Sandwich (photo: https://bit.ly/456ZWDL), while I went for the same priced Kofta Kabob Sandwich (photo: https://bit.ly/3KhuQ43). Both were encased in soft pita bread slathered in fresh hummus with lettuce and tomato. The meat was juicy in both, and the fries were properly addictive. Is it hookah time? My friend was visiting and we wanted to go to a hookah spot. we came here and had a great time! Chris was super kind and helpful! He helped us pick a flavor we loved. We really enjoyed this place and his service. The balcony was a great vibe and it was the perfect chill night and place to catch up with a friend. Super happy they had heaters that kept me extra warm too! Also had hot tea and honey. it was a nice time. :)

The food was delicious, the service was amazing-- such hospitable owners, and the vibe is beautiful. Extremely comfy and lots of pillows. Love this place! First time here and will definitely be returning. The Kushari, hummus, and Bamya were amazing!

The DJ on the main floor, however, didn't seem to be mixing much and mostly replayed the same songs after about 30 minutes. The service was spectacular. We ordered three bottles, which came with a pitcher of juice and four hookahs. You could choose to add mint flavor to the hookah or leave it out, though it still had a slight hint of mint even without it. Everyone also ordered individual drinks, which were about $25 each, and the wine bottle was $85. Anything we needed was brought to us quickly. We didn't get the private belly dancers, I guess they didn't come to work. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again for a special event.

She said no, I asked again are you sure she says NO. I couldn't check the machine because before she handed to me she went all the way to the tip scree that said additional tip. I was like this SHADY af. I asked for a receipt and she said printer broken. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. So I grabbed the machine back and put my number in to get the receipt texted to me. Low and behold 22% tip and she charged us for water when I asked for tap water. I go back to her and show her the receipt and she is like oh I don't know what that is. I have never seen that before. Pleassseeeeee What a scam artist, she probably has done that to everyone there but everyone there is on a date and no one wants to be embarassed. Well IDGAF. She offered to give cash back and not tell her boss. Honestly he probably knows. Never going back. Ive been here 8 times. EVERYONE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!

What a great kick off! As for our mains, we both ordered a variation of the combo plates. I had the chicken tawook and beef. The Mrs. had the chicken and lamb. All good. Based on the food alone, we would recommend this place to anyone with a beating heart and more importantly, a mouth. This is quality food at a quality price. The atmosphere? Really great. It's a little dark and twinkly inside which sets a nice tone. There is cool artwork adorning every piece of wall, the place is very easy on the eyes...including the restrooms. Very clean. Our sever, didn't catch his name, but what a nice dude. Was super helpful without being "too much" he should teach a server class. He's pretty much who you want taking care of your table. He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. It was actually refreshing. We will come back, most likely with the family. Our waiter told us that they can accommodate larger groups which is great. I recently ate food at Saffy's and I didn't enjoy it one bit. The servings there are too small, too pretentious and too overpriced. Open Sesame is the exact opposite and that's why it rules. A wonderful experience in Beverly Boulevard.

I do not usually make the drive out to K-Town, but since tickets were only $10.20 per person, we figured it would be worth checking out. Even though I don't really know much about Invincible, I still had a lot of fun. The space is completely transformed with different scenes from the show and there are plenty of photo ops whether you're a fan or just tagging along like I was. It definitely felt more immersive than I expected. The food and drinks are on the pricey side, so we shared a few items instead of each ordering our own: We tried the Monster Girl Matcha, which came in one of the collectible bottles ($20) my friend wanted. The drink itself was okay; not bad, but not my favorite matcha beverage. We also ordered the Invincible Power Wrap ($15), which tasted good but was honestly much smaller than I expected for the price. My favorite thing we tried was definitely Atom Eve's Energy Acai Bowl ($9). I love acai bowls and this one was refreshing with dragonfruit, strawberries, lychee, coconut flakes, and granola. I would order that again. We also shared the Viltrumite Training Cookies ($9). They were basically buttery sugar cookies but came in a pack of 3. Parking was probably the only annoying part. The shopping center seemed to only have valet, so I ended up finding free street parking in the neighborhood and walking about 10 minutes. One thing I thought was really cool was that the employees told us they completely change the theme every few months. They have done collaborations with Godzilla, Final Fantasy VII, and Arcane. Overall, I had a really good time, even as someone who is not familiar with Invincible. If you are a fan of the show and like experiential dining experiences, I would say come check it out.
