It's hard to believe that is "Industry Standard" as the vast majority of installs (bathrooms etc) have the glass far closer. How many people have bathrooms (for instance) that are large enough to be 10 feet from glass? What you're suggesting is ridiculous. I invite everyone considering using this company to first take a minute, walk around your house and look through your windows etc. How many have these "Industry Standard" scratches and defects? If you use this company, good luck getting them to replace defective glass. I'm not sure how the owner of this company lives but MOST people go out of their way to clean glass without the faintest of "streaks" and "water spots" let alone scratches. He told me the sliding door would be ready between 7 to 10 days. Slay contacted me a week later to let me know he was slightly behind due to the bad weather South Florida was experiencing and he would be there as soon as the rain subsided. Slay indeed showed up at my place as soon as the weather got better and installed my shower door. I also had an issue with another shower door in my place and Slay took it apart, readjusted it for me and replaced the plastic strip under the door at no charge!
