I texted owner Olivia on Friday and over the weekend we agreed on a price (thank you for your patriotism with the military discount on the already-reasonable price!) and time for the repair. She arrived on time on Monday and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. She was very efficient, professional, and had no problem answering my many questions about the process. The result is almost invisible, just a small spot where she had to drill into the glass to start the process. In the after photo, it's the tiny spot in the center of the photo - it looks more like a spot on the center lower half of the door to the house. If I am ever unlucky enough to need a windshield repaired or replaced again, my first call will be to Olivia. Olivia showed up at our house on time and in a half hour the chip was repaired. She said there would be a slight imperfection in the windshield, but the main purpose of the repair was to prevent the chip getting bigger. Glassify installed a new windshield in my 2024 Audi & neglected to share that I needed to go a different source to get the windshield calibrated for the lane changing, auto off/on high/low lights, etc functions. I contacted Glassify after viewing various windshield repair shops on Yelp. I decided to contract this company based on the great reviews and the fact that it is a woman-owned business. As a female glassblower, I don't know a lot of women in the glass business, and we need to stick together. I also don't know how to repair a windshield. Fortunately, Olivia is an expert, and I am so glad that I called her. The price she quoted me was great, especially considering the size of the windshield for my beloved Armada. Olivia and Dan showed up at the time we had agreed upon, and they were highly competent, pleasant and efficient. They replaced my windshield while I was working in the garage, and it was fun to have two mediums of glass, functional and art at work at the same time in the same space. While perhaps obvious, Glassify coming to us was really wonderful with our schedules and they worked directly with our insurance so we only needed to pay our glass deductible. Super friendly and all the car's systems worked immediately. We have a 2018 XC90 with both a heads up display and the Pilot Assist ADAS (Volvo's version of "auto pilot".) Many generic windshield replacement reviews online (not about Glassify) talk about issues with these systems afterward, but ours worked immediately after the replacement with no errors thrown up in the dashboard. I'm disappointed to write a negative review for a small, local business, but my experience with Glassify left me feeling frustrated and let down. Glassify attempted to replace the windshield on my 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata. I provided the make and model of my car in advance, so I was surprised when the team arrived and seemed concerned about removing the windshield. They commented "Hope we have the right tools for this" upon first sight of the vehicle. Not a confidence inspiring first impression. They tried for some time, but ultimately they weren't confident in their ability to cleanly remove the front panels in order to free the windshield and install the replacement. While I appreciate that they were honest and didn't try to proceed with a job they couldn't do professionally, I was left feeling like my time had been wasted. I had to take time off work to be there for the appointment only to have them leave without completing the job. I get that a smaller convertible might be a rarity, and the job is a bit more complex, but having this result despite being provided the make and model of the vehicle in advance was a bit baffling to me. The team was punctual, kind, and displayed respectful communication, and having read existing reviews, they seem to leave customers very satisfied in almost all cases, but unfortunately this was not my personal experience. I hope they're able to improve - I hate feeling cornered into using big chain companies for auto service, but this has left me feeling much more guarded about who I hire. read more

Have a small chip on my windshield, went to Yelp searched for the one with the best Yelp rating. Called but sent to txt. Texted, scheduled an appointment with ease. I had to reschedule my haircut appointment and because I think not having glass blown all over me while I'm driving on the hwy is more important than how my hair looks, and I came home an hour early to be ready for this appointment just in case she arrives early because I hate waiting so I won't do that to other people. Waited until 15 mins before the appointment time to text her to check on her. She said her tool is broken, gotta get the tool fixed, which is absolutely understandable , sh*t happens. Then we rescheduled for 2 days later. This time I rescheduled a fitness session appointment. 30 mins past appointment time, I texted her, replied me an hour later saying ".......that reminded me check on the tool supplier." My blood rushed to my head! Is my time worth nothing to you? I wouldn't even be mad had she notified me 2 hours before the appointment time and tell me that she can't do it because her tool didn't arrive. I wouldn't be mad at all! I understand it's the supplier's problem and it's out of her control. What I'm mad about is I pushed my other appointments yet again for nothing.... And it could have been easily avoided by her communicating with me more effectively. She should have txted the people she scheduled today the moment she found out her tool didn't arrive and notify us that, so we can live our normal life instead of sitting at home and just waiting for nothing. I bet if I didn't txt her first to check on her she prob won't even txt to cancel. Then she said let's shoot for tomorrow. No lady no, I'm not gonna stay home waiting like a dog and I'm not gonna piss off my gym trainer, the person I'm trying to date and my barber all at once in the same week. Didn't give a one star is because (1) She apologized and it means everything, immediately made me 80% less mad. (2) On the phone she sounded like a nice and happy person. (3) This is a local business, don't wanna ruin it. But lady you can't run a one man show. You've gotta hire a customer service or customer relation expert to help you with the customer side of the things, and you just handle the technical/glass side of the things. Or maybe put those appointments into your phone's Reminder App and let it reminds you 2-3 hours before the appointment. read more
