In less than a half hour the car was ready so I went up to the counter to pay and asked how much do I owe you. His response was "You're a veteran and we owe you much more than this small repair job costs. I was very happy with Bryce at Brite Glass. He changed out my rollers for heavy duty ones for my heavy sliding glass door. Wow what a difference, it is so smooth now. I usually replace them myself but got tired of doing it so often. He was very thorough, cleaned up the track and advised me to use silicone for bearings only if i do ever lubricate the rollers. He was very friendly and was an expert. He smoothed out the track and did not upsell me to buy a new track. It was well worth having Brite Glass do the job for me. We hired Brite Glass to replace the glass in several of the windows that had fogged up in our home. One of the windows was an arched window above a patio cover on the second floor of our home. To install the new glass in that window, the men put up scaffolding in our living room and had to carefully maneuver around a chandelier and a grand piano. I broke out my back window while trying to get into a camping site at Lake Tahoe I called every glass place in the Tahoe area and all I got was leave a message and 2 places had their box full and would not take a message. I'll start this off by saying that I am a very picky individual at times with a touch of OCD. I don't really stress too much when getting a windshield replaced in my truck, but getting a windshield replaced in my 2023 Porsche Spyder was stressing me out in a bad way. I told Brite Glass that there was no way I'd be leaving the car, and that I wanted to stay there the entire time. In hind sight I was probably a huge pain in the ass. The installer had 0 issue with this, and told me "When you're good at your job and passionate about it, you're not concerned with someone looking over your shoulder". I watched them treat my car with a level of care that really eased up my OCD. Just the care they were giving to making sure that all of the sealant was done perfectly and didn't show anywhere was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to ever bring a car here whether it is a daily driver, sports car, or exotic car. Brite Glass has done right by me for 26 years now, and yet I still doubted trusting them with my Spyder. Foolish me! These people are masters of their craft, and as long as they are in business, nobody else will ever do glass work on a vehicle for me but them. I'm incredibly happy with my Brite Glass experience. I went in a month ago with a crack and Alex and Axel worked to give me a quote but recommended if I could, waiting it out until winter was over to do the replacement. Being impatient- I came back in because I wanted to get it fixed. They were able to get me in within 2 days for a new windshield. On the phone, the person I talked to realized the molding for my car was more expensive than what my initial quote accounted for. I wanted it done right so said it was fine. Alex looked at my windshield again and let me know based on the age of my car there might be some issues with rust but they'd call me if it was going to be more expensive. The car was done on time, I paid and was happy with my service. As I was pulling out, Axel came running out and said they needed me to come back in. He wanted to honor the initial quote they gave me and refunded me the difference which I thought was really kind and I appreciated it. As a young woman who knows far less about cars than she should, I really appreciate when I get honest and fair service and when they talk me through my options so I can make an educated decision. I appreciated them honoring the initial quote and not throwing in extras I didn't necessarily need even if I didn't know it. My only complaint... my car has to be locked by key because of the way the locks are set up so you don't lock your keys in your car. I let them know this when I dropped off the key and when I came back, the driver's side was unlocked. Normally this would really tick me off but one mistake with otherwise outstanding service, I can overlook it. read more

I was attempting to move a very heavy and big speaker box....didn't lay it flat in the back seat because I'm an idiot and when I went around a corner, it tipped over and completely smashed (and was partially sticking thru) a quarter window on my VW GTI. I called Brite Glass in a panic and Maddie immediately assisted me. Long story short, getting a driver's side quarter window for a 2015 GTI is nearly impossible. I was beginning to think it might be easier (and probably cheaper) to just go buy a new car. But Maddie kept at it and was able to find a replacement window w/VW's help, and my car should be repaired in 10 days for what I feel was a pretty reasonable price considering how hard it was to find the part.
